A very good adapter, a very good application, very good technical support. I have been using Carly since the beginning, he has helped me in many problems. Tests, diagnoses, dpf regenerations, very useful coding, ex video in motion. Very good technical support, recently Carly Team replaced my adapter for free as a life-time guarantee. I highly recommend.
Checked if the service reset would work with a 2015 Audi TT (8S), Carly's website stated it would but it doesnt. All I get is a message saying 'Contact us'. Basically bought the adaptor & full app version for absolutely nothing, I need to reset service data now not in weeks or months time. Was happy with my other Carly products but not this one, its seems rushed & not finished 😡
The application is rubbish, I have to keep connect to the car car over and over again when I finish clearing any faults. Carly says is good for coding as well. I never been able to clear the fault code for the LED number plate lights. Waste of money, very disappointing, useless thing!
Not as good as Carly for BMW , I have 2 error lights on the dash and it could not diagnose them, could not even diagnose the faulty dash screen, it said it would take half an hour to diagnose this vehicle, a TT, an hour later nothing, tested each element individually in less than 15min, only 2 engine faults. Hope the updates make it 100% better.
Hi guys. I purchased mycarly vag after watching a review on YouTube as I have recently bought an Audi TT MK2 and liked the tweeks for setting the welcome lights etc. One thing I was hoping for (and yes, it is petty, but really cool) is for the needle sweep when you turn the ignition on. Please add this in your update. Otherwise, found 5 faults, one of which is to do with the soft top, so will be getting the car to a workshop soon. Thanks.
cannot update to full version, always get the failure message "could not connect to google play store. please restart the app [..]." . update 09.07.2019, bought the full version in june however today as i tried to do a full diagnostic and afterwards see the faults the app said that i should upgrare to full version...what for did I pay the 44 euros one month ago, just for a one time thing? starting to feel robbed!!!
Just purchased and used the full version to reset the service interval on my 2015 Audi A3. Seems to have done the job. I used it in conjunction with the Carly bluetooth adaptor which I believe is mandatory.
For Audi os pretty useless. Yes, you can diagnose and clean faults but can't do much after. Was interested to recode a new battery and this one doesn't have that. Payed a lot of money for nothing.
Terrible app full of issues and wont work, after 5 attempts of trying to log in to the app with Facebook it wouldn't work at all, then i tried my Google account and the same thing happened, then i tried making an account and still nothing, im very disappointed with this app
useless, bad design, fraud, there is a odb standard, but carly has different adapters, why? to check if km is manipulated, do you need more adapters and software, all costs alot of money. stay a way
Dont buy, its useless app, doesnt connect to the carly adapter, asks for upgrade and after upgrade it doesnt do anything at all just read some live data.dont change any code, really waste of money. its just scam.
Absolutely useless now. Doesn't code hardly anything listed, like audible locking, lighting options etc. Messaged them several times with responses like "does it work now".
wont let you into the app without signing up, has the menu for choosing types of connection but will only use bluetooth, heavily trying to sell their own adapter.
rubbish app with clunky interface - app won't open until they have harvested your email and won't work at all - not even for testing - unless you buy their coded bluetooth adapter. uninstalled. at least carista works with generic bluetooth dongle
None of the coding worked for me, I have the latest Carly adapter that I use with other Carly products but VAG Carly doesn't work for me even after it says coding is successful. I expect better.
Well, it's been about 4 or 5 months and this useless piece of kit still doesn't do what they said it would. I've emailed numerous times and they keep saying problems will be sorted in the next update. DO NOT BUY.
not all their adapters are compatible so now they want to sell me another one just for this Audi but another one for another vw and another one for a Mercedes? otherwise the app doesnt work well and the diagnostics are really poor. Been using them for years but really not a fan of them since they screwed up BMW owners who have to pay £50+ a year to support the people who bought the app before the change. thats unfair and ridiculous. use bimmercode instead
Hello, I wanted to try "Carly for VAG" app , installed it on my op 7t pro from the app store and upon opening it screen goes black - only force resetting restore normal functionality, then i opened the app again and it black screened again ... this is werry weird.. i uninstalled the app ... anyone any idea why this is happening ?
Bought the pro. Now it says I should update but no update is available in the playstore. Coding not working! Clear faults is fine but there are free apps that can this too. For me it was waste of money
Implies it will do many things for free but it doesn't. Ran a diagnostic & produced two fault codes which do not exist with my car & are not Audi fault codes. I don't know if I dare pay for the full version. I should have listened to all the one star reviews.
This app is the worse in its kind. I have used multiple obd scanner apps but nothing like this. I paid to upgrade but the app does not even pass the connection page.
I want my money back, every time i want to connect it says "no connection to vehicle please start the app again while your engine is running" the engine is running, every time i want to connect it doesnt, so i want my money back, this is fraud
I would like to ask the seller why the app tells you that the annual subscription is 45€ but if you are in UK and want to purchase it you are charged £45.90 . Isn't this a ripoff dear seller ?
already paid for the obd connector for BMW now I have to pay again for VW which is fair enough if there not compatible but after I paid for the full version of the software for bmw they shouldn't charge you again for the VW version even if its limited to one other car it would be alot more goodwill then making you fork out all again witch I wont be doing ripoff. P.s if i brought gta and wanted another one of there products i would trade it back and get a different one like u should with this
Useless. Will work apparently if buying the Carly adapter and the pro version which is a rip off. This company will not exist in a year's time.
bought adapter y software for BMW and works fine. Now i tried VAG demo with my carly adapter and doesnt work, do i need one adapter for each car brand?
Was happy before the update Its was fine using obd2 adaptor now you want me to buy another adapter from your store paid £59.00 for vw pro , also paid £59.00 ,for Mercedes pro version now you want to buy new adaptor and you feed my email account to you what a scam anyone wishing to buy stay away from these crooks.
Can no longer login. No messages to identify what the issue is. Can login to website fine.
Rubbish and crapware. This free app won't work. You have to have the full version apparently for anything. Poorly designed interface. For everything you have to reconnect and wait. User experience is not pleasant - understatement of the year - and rather a huge nuisance. I have thrown the adapter away in the garbage bin. Do not buy!
