Just download the Carrera Race App, connect the Bluetooth adapter to the control unit of the Carrera race circuit and you are ready to enjoy the next level of racing fun!
If you want to get directly into a race, select "Quick-start race" and start straight away with preset race conditions. Set up your individual driver profile with photo and use the Carrera Race App to follow all relevant information on the race progress of the drivers taking part.
Create your entirely personal motor sport weekend: your car racing championship! As in a real race weekend, you complete training, define the starting grid positions through qualifying and then take part in an exciting race with your friends. Decide between fixed time and fixed number of laps and save your race results directly in the Carrera Race App for a detailed race analysis.
At the close of each race, the best times can be taken directly from the app and shared (e.g. on Facebook) with your friends

With Android 10 I can fully setup and save drivers, cars and circuits but when I go to race I cannot chose any of them as all the pages are blank and nothing I can see to select. Pity it is so poorly written...
I'm stuck on the first screen of the application, nothing ever happened, no menu shown. Fortunately it is a free application but too bad for the brand to have such a software for its line of product.
Doesn't save correct pictures of drivers, circuits, etc for future use...need to upload everytime. Race start not synced with control unit, other issues.
Does not find the control unit. Although it is connected in the Bluetooth settings. Tried with different devices
There is a bug in sound service, you evetually loose sound when restarting the race or doing similar action in menu.
This is not a good app . The loding takes lot of time and you cant drive properly. Worst app ever. Never install this app.
I created all of my drivers and cars just for it to get caught loading on the searching for units screen

What is this app supposed to be? It explains nothing in the app so I have NO clue how to use it or what it's for.
Nice FREE app, it does what it say it do, it works, can't ask for more
The first time I used it it worked. The next time it asked to download an update. It now is unusable. When you try and run a race it comes up with an option to update or cancel. Both options take you back to the previous screen and disconnect the Bluetooth. App Connect and Check Lanes now useless and Control Unit does not work properly with the new firmware in it. Spent a lot of money on equipment which is now unusable. NOT HAPPY! Come on Carrera get this fixed or you will lose a lot of customers.
The app is usable but it's buggy and the user interface is really badly designed. Positions and fuel usage are unreadable if you have a split second to look at your tablet or phone. If you want to restart a race it's quicker to restart the app. Could be a great app but just really bad implementation. I hope Carrera will release the protocol so other developers can have a go (a Python lib is available on Github). Going to try the paid version.
Very buggy, which is a shame because it has so much potential.
Finding it difficult to add pictures for cars and drivers. I take one picture and it uses that picture for everything. Needs some work.
I got a new digital set and app adapter with it and have had nothing but trouble. I have never seen a company that cares so little about their customers. Throwing junk on the market and not supporting it at all!!! Fix the App!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE PAYING A TON OF MONEY FOR THINGS THAT DONT WORK THATS WHY I LOVE THIS APP!
I have an lg phone and it wont pair up with the bluetooth, therfore making this app useless. Please fix
1) The minimum that needs to work is upgrading the firmware which did not on all my android devices. I ended up having to borrow an iphone to upgrade the firmware version. 2) There needs to be a more open API so at least other can make an open app so the users can use it how they want it.
Running Android 4.4.4, bluetooth requires 4 attempts to pair, but app still cannot see controller...
I hope they keep trying. New version does work. Big improvement over first attempt. Still lacking, however.
Good idea but has potential for much better functionality. Needs more developments for android devices. At the moment it's not worth buying the bluetooth app connect device
Good app when it all syncs properly. Profile names don't always display on race management device. Running ghost cars/ pace cars always show fuel is low. Bluetooth to a PC app would be great and hopefully allow more control and customizing of race environment. Developer needs to add full Android support for Driver mode. $600+ investment in Carrera products, users deserve MORE. Thanks.
This is an absolutely horrible app because it doesn't allow you to drive your cars at some point. Sometimes the app countdown and the carrera countdown aren't aligned so you don't know when to go. We wrote to carrera and they made some excuse about how it's the connection in the house and how you have the WiFi on. Do not download it is horrible
