Since updating this app my phone calls have been messed up. The other person on the other end of during phone calls cannot hear me nor can I hear them. It's like the call just drops mid call but the timer is still running. I reset my phone and calls work fine and as soon as this app updates I get the problem again. It's frustrating because I can't even use my pixel 6 pro for regular phone calls. I had to purchase a new phone. Kind of pointless having a phone without that main feature.

It seems that updating this messes up data calling and texting. Had to restore my phone about 4 times from scratch. Restoring from backup brought the issue back. Didn't figure out this was the culprit until I saw the reviews. Tried everything but nothing fixed it. Works perfect on the original version from the stock version. I'm very sure the update caused it, so disable auto update. And dont update. Afraid to install the new update from a week ago. DONT UPDATE!!!!!

Makes my signal reception worse every update. my reception always randomly drops out completely when I'm in an excellent coverage area. Lots of delayed notifications especially from Gmail. I know they're delayed because they come in way before on my Note 10+ that I use on wifi than on my Pix 6 pro using cell network. Very disappointed with how many problems I've had with this Pixel 6 pro reception wise. Don't think I'll be getting the 7 pro when it comes out. May go back to Samsung.

My phone always had good reception in my bedroom but that's changed to occasional patchy reception. Nothing has changed with my telco or my phone, but this app has been updated a number of times recently and I'm assuming that's the problem. Please answer me as it's usually the case that developers don't respond, so I'm hoping you will.

Prevents connection to 5G UC on the Pixel 6. This has been an issue since launch of the device and has not been fixed. It would be one thing if 5G UC just didn't connect, but it drops connection until you move out of range. Ridiculous that the mmWave version on Verizon's network costs $100 extra for less functionality.

Don't know what this app does. But recently my call quality got worse. I could barely hear anything from the other side. Everything from my service provider was clear. I tried all possible things like changing sim slot and restarting, switching to airplane mode etc. etc., nothing worked. Finally I uninstalled this app and call clarity became normal.

I don't know what you did with the recent update, but my cell service is constantly dropping. I used to get full bars. Now I barely get 1 bar and it will tell me I have no internet, and then reconnect. Frequent issue that didn't exist before.

The last update does not permit my RCS to send messages from the default "Messages" app. I no longer receive RCS messages. In chat features, it says "connecting" for days. Only when I roll back this carrier services my Messages RCS works again. Please fix this or I need to use another text app is possible. I've looked on forums and they said to just keep rolling back this update. This is not conducive to security and functionality.

Nothing from Google is good. Customer support doesn't exist. My account has been breached through all these new Google services and links I've lost two laptops in a phone and still haven't been able to speak to one person from Google or azure. I love how they say our privacy and security is their number one priority but by my experience I've been showed differently they could care less

It's customary to properly document all software changes. "Bug fixes and stability improvements" does not qualify. This would be particularly important to software that is largely not user facing.

I have to continuously uninstall and reinstall the update to get my RCS features to work. There has been on communication or transparency from Google. This is very disappointing. If there is an issue with an update address it and fix it please.

This app literally only has to do with Google messages app, because I have never had this on any of my previous phones until now when samsung switch out their messaging app to use Google messages app on the new galaxy s22 models. As far as I can tell this app is some kind of compatibility app allowing Google messages to utilize all the different features for all the different phones on all the different carriers networks. But I agree they need a better explanation of what it actually does.

Continuous updates and very little improvment to show for it. After 20 updates we finally have HD calling that is a little more reliable. Has potential but I wonder if enough conversations are being had with network providers or whether Google is trying to create the best fit ? All this app has achieved so far is to push users away from Google and toward other providers. This must have been reserved for the 'failed to graduate' team. This app is a total disaster for interoperability

Broke sending and receiving SMS/MMS messages on my OnePlus 8 pro, then a day later after I would make a call it would not allow me to receive or make another call until I either went into airplane mode and back out, or rebooted. Uninstall this and everything works perfectly again. *THIS* is why I stopped using the pixel line. *Update* Latest version fixed everything including RCS

I don't understand what this app/program is, Is this Metro PCS network? Seems like with every update I do to apps like this my connection and speed of downloading/uploading gets worse!! There are no "bug fixes and improvements" like they say. Instead I think they are infecting the phones with more bugs and privacy invading software. I'm so ready to go live off the grid out in the woods somewhere. This control issue from the government and big corporations is just way too much lately. Who's free?

I am actually having a problem with my Google Meet App that crashes every time I tap the app to use it but it wouldn't open. But, coincidently, I've got to see this Carrier Services app and just installed it for curiousity. With this, it then helps my Google Meet app to function and now opening without crashing. Maybe this connects the functionality and the issue. Thanks

I keep losing signal after the latest update. This is ridiculous! EDIT: 6 months later, the latest update finally allows me to use 4G on my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. For these long 6 months I had to set my connection manually to 3g only, in order to have any connectivity. Thanks for the fix and PLEASE DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING!

Help please fix what you can it hangs up while I'm on phone no texting or notifications missing apps I lost chrome completely deleted and then reinstall This would be god send for older people can't see small letters make it to be listened to with test instructions I want bigger phone for larger typing areaold fingers don't fit,maybe auto fix anything left using data off until used easier way to clean out junk without loosing the important stuff. Got more ideas I might tell ya about.

I don't really know what is up with this carrier! Im on my 2nd phone after the 1st 1 wouldn't allow me to call or use data when I had signal & data now this new phone is having issues! Trying to update my apps but it's not allowing me to & yes I have it off of wifi & using the phones own data to update but nothing is working & yesterday I was trying to make calls & it's said no cellular network available even with 4bars &data even though it was working fine earlier..? Don't no what 2do!

Ever since I've updated my phone I don't recieve all my phone calls or my text messages (sometimes I receive messages up to a week after they were actually sent) and my data does not work at all. The update messed everything up and I can't get my phone to work correct now at all will be changing phone companies today as I have talked to customer service 20 plus times in the last 2 weeks and nothing has been fixed.

Every time I do one of these updates for this app my phone stops being able to receive or make calls and texts! Then I have no total usage for my phone for longer than a week! CAN'T CHANGE THE TRUTH! I STILL CANNOT RECEIVE OR MAKE CALLS! I CANNOT TEXT AT ALL!! YOU MESSED UP MY PHONE YET AGAIN AND I DON'T HAVE CALLING AVAILABLE!

What a buggy update provided Google. I see frequent disruptions in the network while using my device, my apps fail to load, voice break during calls etc. You've mentioned in your update logs that this update removes bugs, provides some fixes and improves stability but I think It made the situation worst. Provide a fresh update to remove this glitch asap.

2.75 stars. Not absolutely necessary for many users. Sometimes causes problems after update. I have disabled this app, with no adverse effects thus far. Note: Some features of google 'Messages' app (possibly RCS options) _may_ not work properly if Carrier Services (another google product) is disabled. If you don't trust google and already use a non-google SMS app, you prob. do not need Carrier Sevices enabled.

I'm trying to stop a free trial for amc+. They told me that I have to cancel it through Google Play. Google Play told me the app is not available for my device but it's clearly working on my phone (my only device with the app). I don't want to be surprised with an expensive charge for an app I tried. The app is good but it doesn't make sense for me to keep it while I'm unemployed.
