I would like to see better integrations with third party apps (for example Mint). I am also missing the ability to export vesting schedules etc. to a CSV for use in a spreadsheet. As for the mobile app itself, the ineffective/lacking use of caching and preloading makes for a jarring UX.
As many others have listed, there are obvious bugs here that anyone using or testing the app for 30 seconds would find
2stars for just making the app exist. There's nothing extra in the app that can't be done on the mobile browser. Since you get a limited experience when accessing the service from mobile browser the same applies to this app as well. That brings me to my point of giving it 2stars (quite generously) for someone spending time and resources to disappoint me in the app instead of in the mobile browser.
My convertible note is gone - I tired to email customer support through the app but it just opens up my yahoo mail app with no email address to send to, it wants me to put the email address which I don't have. (Can't see my convertible notes) I've uninstall and reinstall also cleared the cache.
Great UX in general. Could use simplified information regarding my options as an employee during a public offering. Show me a few examples of what the outcome could look like in different scenarios.
Only thing this app does is show your options and run simulations, except it doesn't run simulations because it's validating an input that you can't actually see on the first screen of it so it just errors out. Buggy af
so far things seem to work, except for fingerprint login. i set it and logout, try logging back in and there isn't an option to login with finger print. i got back into settings and the option is no longer set.
Why the heck would it be required to have 2 different email addresses. And then not be able to delete an email address that's pending. And not be able to have 2 accounts with the same email address, 1 as primary and 1 as an additional (for couples). This is so messed up.
Not useful for doing anything. The app allows you to view some information, but not actually perform any actions such as verifying bank information or starting processes. They just want you to use the website for everything anyway so why bother with another icon in your app drawer?
App never gets past the first black screen with white logo. Tried Uninstalling and reinstalling as well as clearing cache /data, but still just stalls.
Carta visualizes and organizes a rather difficult to explain set of concepts. Thank you! Great work!
I was able to accept an option grant, but I am met with an "unexpected error" any time I try to view my grants. That makes this app pretty much unusable.
i don't understand what the point in this app is. all you can do is view your securities, there is no real functionality. can't even contact support or view a FAQ
Great app! This makes it easy to keep track of investment securities and the controls are intuitive and easy.
why in the world would you force be to download the app when all I'm trying to do is confirm my email? the "confirm" email link in the email takes me here directly to download the app. i don't want the app. I'm downloading the app just to leave this review.
Solid app, except that I have to log in every time I use it. Fingerprint authentication has been around for a while now, y'all.

Says password is strong! Then when you try to proceed, it says password is too weak. Can't register at all
Simulation is not working. It asks for amount of shares to execute, however there is no such field
Not very useful as it is now. I can't look at my company's cap table or make changes. I can only see my own stock certificate
Great app! I'm not one who normally gushes over finance apps, but this app is made very well. Looks good, works great.
It's very easy to use, holds all of my portfolio for a certain company and is very informative

Carta takes the complexity of employee stock options and makes it much easier to understand
Accepted securities in a second, works great, and has a great vesting schedule.
So fluid and easy to use. I wish there was integration with Intuit's Mint.

Did update, no longer sends sms codes to phone to log in, on neither ipad nor from android.
No way to fix your account name if it was misspelled in the app but it can be done on the website. "Contact Carta Support" link opens email client with a blank "to" field so can't get help using it. Support phone number can be found when you select "customer support pin" which is not intuitive. Called support and it was a short wait and they were very helpful. The app allows you to simulate exercising your options which helps a lot with understanding how options work.
