Carter on the Go

Very basic app that is not up to par with its competitors. No real time banking available. Is not a well planned app. Seems more like a quick fix to keep customers happy albeit temporarily. Those that are used to using a real banking app will not use one as basic as this. Absolutely a waste of my time.

App is great. Having to disable my VPN to use it (or the website) and risk my privacy if I forget to turn it back on once I'm done banking sucks. And the password requirements are extremely unreasonable.

My experience is frustrating because I have had problems with this app for a year...it will not let me transfer money frm savings to checking without me calling customer service every time. I am contemplating changing banks,I've been a loyal customer for 30 yrs.

Good app but still has some hiccups Would help if you could use it to transfer all the time between accounts. Still have to call to transfer a lot of times.

Really like the app. Being able to check my balance, transfer money between accounts without having to look through bank statements and physically go to the bank is a big plus. Saves a lot of time and effort.

Can't transfer funds from savings to checking!! Basic function to Mobil app, yet everytime I contact them about this issue they act like I'm not smart enough to use their app.

I love the app! It makes my life so much easier. With constant access to all of my account balances and mobile deposits, banking is convenient and simple. I can transfer money between accounts, set up automatic payments and I can even make and receive payments from friends with Zelle. The app is very easy to navigate and use. Keep up the great work Carter Bank & Trust!

This has been a long time awaited thing, happy it has finally arrived. Your banking literally at your finger tips. Secondary security of a text msg may take a minute longer to access your account, but the security it provides is well worth the short wait, and the extra step in the process. Small price to pay for the convenience the app provides for the customer and their online security. So far no bugs or issues at all. Thank you Carter James, awesome leap forward into the future.

nice app nice look easy to use great security features i like the bill pay and the check feature. Any issues that I have had was my fault. Been with this bank 35 years.

The best banking app out. You can check your credit quick and easy access. I would recommend it.

As a new customer, I was extremely frustrated that the app just kept spinning, and wouldn't open. I finally saw a review here that said to update Chrome. Sure enough, after I updated Chrome, I had no trouble signing into the app. I hope this helps someone else!

not very good. even after setting up all your personal info and setting up biometrics every single time you log in they make you submit a verification from your phone. its really annoying and you're better off just going to website. you will get your balance and info faster that way.

Does what it needs to do. Randomly won't work sometimes. Useless costumer service setup

Excellent app from an excellent bank, Carter's Bank & Trust! I use it on all my devices and I can keep an eye on my savings and checking accounts every day and monitor the transactions for those accounts. I can also transfer money from one account to the other using the app rather than having to call the bank or go to a local branch, which is very helpful for me since I'm disabled and don't drive. I appreciate Carter's dedication to its customers and providing us with mobile services. Thank you!

Constantly get locked out of this app, and it is not an easy task to get logged back in. Depositing checks is also a pain in the neck on this app because you have to make sure you write exactly what they want on the back of the check or they will reject it. I only use this app because this bank doesn't offer an ATM at any of their locations, and bank hours are hard to work around along with my work hours. Not the most user friendly banking app I've seen.

I'm happy Carter bank is trying to catch up and now has an app. This app however is garbage. never fails when I'm at the store and want to quickly check my account that I get a failure notice and a number to call flash across the screen.

The app keeps growing and adding new features which is very nice. It offers a way to do most of your banking needs. Their is a lack of interactivity such as a chat option for questions and things you can't do with the app.

My app stopped working with an upgrade, and no one at customer service could help. I called several times and the recommendations given did not work. I loved the app prior to this issue, this is very disappointing. It still isn't working.

App just spins. Haven't been able to log in for a week now. Update 3/15. Attempted to reinstall the app to fix the issue. Well that's No go! Just lags and makes no progress to Install. It's been 3 days. Still nothing.

This app has been a life saver for me. I got a new phone and could not get the app loaded on the phone to where it would work. During the time I was having this problem I overdrew my account because I could keep up with my balance. I really depend on this app everyday.

I love my bank, but the mobile app makes me login every time. And I have an extremely long and random password. So I uninstalled. It's much easier to just use the cbtcares web page from Chrome, then add to your home screen... It keeps your info stored, because, Google.

Since the last update when I try to log in the loading circle just spins forever. It won't let me in. I can see my quick balance but that is all. I'm tired of having to go to the website every time I need to do or check something. Why HAVE an app if it never works?!

Once set up, I'm able to do my banking thru app. I'm able to view my balance without logging in (fast balance) and once logged in I can view all transactions, transfer between accounts, make check deposits and e.t.c. It's everything a banking app should do and works for me.

Needs work. Everytime I try to log in, a message pops up that I need to submit a code via text or phone call. Not so convenient but rather time consuming. The thought of having this app is awesome but much work is needed for this app to work properly and the way it's intended. 2 Stars.

Had some issues setting it up but once i got it working it has been a tremendous help. I cant seem to ever get to the bank on time now that cb&t changed there operating hours. ( SERIOUSLY WANT YALL TO STAY OPEN TIL 7 AGAIN!) this app is the only reason I am still banking with you. Ur hours were the one thing that set u apart for me.

App has the option to make transfers between a checking and savings account, but doesn't actually do it. You can click on transfers all you want and it won't take you to that page.

About half the time it won't take the correct password. You only get basically 2 tr pies to get it correct. When after the second time you select forgot password then you are locked out and have to call and speak to a representative which is off after 12, after 5 or 6 weekdays and off Sundays. I knew my password was correct. When I called and talked to rep she just unlocked it. She didn't have to reset the password. It took it on the chrome browser then but wouldn't take it on this application.

I love online banking. It's really great and so easy to manage your account. Keep up the Great Work!!
