Nice trivia: The app icon and in-app buttons were first drawn with colored pens on paper and then photographed with the Cartoon Camera app itself and then put into the app.

Why am I no longer able to make an existing picture into a cartoon? It get stuck on a view and I'm not able to change it I'm able to take pics but when asked to go to my gallery it freezes there. I would of gave a 4 or 5 star review, but unfortunately one of the main reasons I've downloaded this app off and on for 4 years is mainly because I can alter past photos. S. HarpScran
The cartoon app is actually pretty nice but now the ads are on top of the photo button so you can't even use it every time you try and take a picture the stupid ad takes you to another page so I'm deleting this
As of Aug 25 2019, it doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and I can get the "pro" version of it either. The camera wouldn't flip for selfie mode.
I love this, it really gives creative output using the built in camera. Really awesome work guys. Worked great on Droid 4, and now seems even better on Galaxy Note 10+.

I am a professional software engineer with lots of Adobe Photoshop experience and this camera filters are better than those that ship with pro $700 software. Which by the way requires a computer and at least 2 extra steps to apply a similar filter effect. With that said it would be cool if u could use on existing photos not taken through this app.
A great app. It may help me to do sketchings that I wanted to do, if, I feel I wanna do it though. The app should be 4 stars because there are some picture effects that are available but since its a free app, guess I rate it fair then. Make more cool games FingerSoft, not just an camera effect adder, more games please and make it original and different. Cheers.
i think its a great app. it creats a really cool effect. i wouldnt say it looks like a cartoon it think it looks more like a sketch. you can change the sensitivity level and choose how mich colour u want. also it doesnt take up much storage. the only problem for me is the adds they really annoy me. but it is a really good app im keeping it
This app will not let you take pictures you already have and cartoon them you must take new ones, which makes it completely usless to me. There is no tutorial or help button so I had to just randomly push things umtill I found what each thing did. When you go to take a pic with the app you can't see it untill you've already taken it which is a bit annoying.
This program is so much more than what one might first think it to be. An awesome way of creating a teaching connection to children while admittedly having a blast. My dogs are already tired of posing but I'm not finished yet. So great to see my concept as soon as I take the picture. 10 stars.
Up close pictures look sloppy and muddy. Other than that, its a pretty neat app i look forward to using.. if I can supersteady my hands. +would also like a feature to hold camera button down, then release to capture.
I really like this application, it's just that I would love it if the designer of the application made it so that you could cartoon pre existing photos that you already have in your phone gallery. The only photos that you can turn into cartoons are any photos that you take with the application camera. I'm not going to un-install the application just yet because I'm hoping that maybe the designer will update so that users can use their photos that they already have.
this is my little glitch. .first go onto carton camera .then click pro version .then click the store which is NOT play store .then install 3of the apps on that web .after that press purchase .if u dont want the 3apps you installed just uninstall them!it works ive got pro bersion now its epic! i have the brains because im 10 years!
This camara would have been awesome if we could see all our pics. Im very disapponted that it didn't work. You can only see the first pic that you took and none of the rest. You should uninstall as soon as you read this because it needs major fixing big time.
It took a day for me to figure out where to find the pictures, since they are not automatically generated in the same gallery folder. When attempting to use the gallery button it would only show the first photo taken and not allow me to swipe to the next photo. I don't know if its me or the application, but I still like the camera.
It can be a fun app, turning photos into what look like hand-drawn images. Unfortunately a lot of the filters require payment to unlock. It's not very good at accessing images already taken.
