I used to know this photo edit app like my hand. I totally forgot about it when I changed androids devices. It took me awhile to find it. Try it, won't let you down.
is good but now lags with Android 6.0.1. need an update to fix lagging

Old app, but still useful
update it man.
I have accidentally created some very convincing images. Something that really could pass for drawings or animations. But the majority, the ones I just take without composing, don't turn out too well. It would be really nice to have a feature to denoise. One of the artifacts of the process is heavy noise.
The free version worked, Pro version does not. I can take one picture, and I can't load up a photo from the gallery as it stops everytime. Haven't done a single thing with it and I've updated my programs and restarted, cleared cache, etc. Can't even send an error report from the phone, had to come here.
For future versions, I would like the ability to pull in a photo already taken by my camera and have it do "it's magic" on it, rather than only being able to work in images taken while using the app.
Don't know which came first, but I think of this as a spinoff of Paper Camera. It's the Paper Camera cartoon mode accompanied by several variations on the theme. They all look terrific, however I don't care for the controls very much. I prefer PC's control scheme. But it's not a deal-breaker by any means; just a personal preference issue.
It makes some pretty cool pics. Not 5 because I too now have GIANT BUTTONS overlapping an all like others have described. I can barely see the far right side camera icon. Uodate: 7/2014 Yay.. the Big button issue was fixed.. 5
Tried out a few cartoon photo filter apps. This one is quite stable and gives me a rather useful tool for staging and mocking up cartoon-like scenes. The cartoon image is the best I've found so far. The pro-version is very inexpensive.
I went straight for the Pro version - a bargain at £0.99. I have no idea how these things work, or how it creates the effect so quickly in real-time through the camera viewfinder - but it's bloody amazing. It's like the old Aha video for 'Take On Me'. So easy to use too.
The buttons are overlapping and are off the screen!!! Therefore it is impossible to use this app with Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Please fix this issue and I will gladly edit this review. * I paid for this app as it seemed awesome and I expected this issue to be soleved by an update realese, yet I had to purchase an alternative app ("Paper Camera" by JFDP Labs) due to the issue decribed above. ⚠ Upgrading Android fixed this issue.⚠ It works but not thanks to any support hence only 4 stars.
Such A great app, I wanna keep it a secret. What the heck! Thanks or not ruining it with "upgrades." Play Store get a 1. For ruining all my apps. updates are turned off + 24 just upgraded. SEE UPDATE THE END. Hoping the pro version is ad free. Have loved the free version but the ads were so annoying even interupted right in the middle of taking pictures several times. Like I said itgs an excellent app and the pics are wonderful so getting this version was a given but those ads - - UGH! Am trully praying this will eliminate my only complaint. UPDATE: YES it is ad free and soooo worth it. I love love this app!
Lots of fun and easy to install. Had to pay .99 for the pro b.c free version wouldn't let me do anything...but worth it and I like the fun results. Can't edit an existing pic but let's you see results b4 saving. Doesn't save to gallery which is a drawback so 4 stars but to external drive so I got a file manager and was able to call up the .jpeg images that way...now gonna try and upload to fb b/c pics really are that much fun and come out good :)
I wish this app could also open existing pictures from my gallery. The filters for the camera are fantastic, but without being able to open a picture from the gallery into the app, its functionality for aiding in the production of art projects is severely diminished. Great app though.
If you have a good eye for composition, Cartoon Camera creates images that will even have you printing them! (remember probing?) But... my wish is that we could open and work with images NOT shot with CC, since currently it seems to only open it's own folder.
Good app but the buttons go off screen. And the paintbrush button which I figured out changes the format, is unresponsive unless swiped. It should be changed so that a popup appears that allows you to see what formats are available and select the desired format. Until then only three stars.
Usually I do not buy an app before I try the free version and this time I did. It was on a win and I'm glad I did. So far it's been very fun. For exactly what the description says. I've had no problems with how it displays, no problem with buttons over lapping like the one review, do far no or problems what so ever. Would have given 5 stars except for instructions on using (could just be me) and I might change it. Having problems getting a better picture and I think it's just s learning curve. Moto X first
Pretty decent camera app. Does not perform well on Android 9 devices, though. Unless this app gets updated, I would not suggest using this on new devices.
