The game is decent. It could use a few updates though. The reward system is probably the biggest downfall. Getting crystals and green crystals are hard to get. Oh, not to mention that some things in Cartoon Shop are overpriced. Here are a few examples: Ancient Bear - 50 green crystals -It really shouldn't be that much, especially considering the fact that green crystals are rare to get normally. Melon Donut Man - 250 crystals -I'd reduce it down to 200 crystals. Evil Bear - 150 crystals -I'd reduce that down to like 100 crystals, but whatever. And there are a few examples of some overpriced things. There are definitely more of them. The game could use a major patch to make things more fair. If you want to be very good at the game and have very good units, you have 2 options. You can farm and save up gold, crystals, and green crystals, or you can just purchase in-app items. Either or you must do. I've been playing this game for approximately 4 years now, and I don't remember if it was like this. I still to this day play this game daily. I returned to the game like months ago. Also, there tends to be a crashing problem where the game closes itself from being open sometimes. The problem is, I can be in the middle of a match or battle, and boom! That is another thing that is annoying and I hope it gets patched. Hopefully the game receives a patch that fixes all of this stuff and makes the game less pay-to-win

I think this game is OK. The problems are any kind of crystal is impossible to get. I have been playing this game for around 3 years, and only have 12 green crystals, and not enough purple crystals to get far. Any kind of good item to upgrade, combine, or evolve units are super difficult to get. You have to have extreme amounts of luck just to get 1 good unit that can help you make some kind of progress throughout the game, you barely get rewarded with anything when you beat anything, and mana.

The game is just excellent, but there is one problem that troubles me and other people. The king of gunner mode is just ridiculous. The event is suppose to test players skill in movement and knowledge of using the gunner's abilities. But one thing is the rate the enemies spawn is never the same. You can sometimes get easy kills or end your game faster, depending on which and how many enemies spawn. Because of this, I think that the long of gunner mode is based on luck rather than skills.

It is a good game but the second cartoon wars was so much better because of both the progression tree style upgrades for the units and the lack of having to wait for timers before you can play again. Also the game is made with the obvious intention to get you to buy in app purchases. It would be better if they just put a few adds here and there. even though I didn't like this game doesn't mean I don't like the other games, I would highly recommend the first 2 games.

Need purple crystals? Pay. Need green crystals? Pay. Need better units? Pay. The player is limited to 20 cards at the beginning of the game, which count for combat units, upgrade cards, enhancing cards, skill cards, combine and evolve cards, so having an inventory limit severely limits your ability to play with variety. The benefits between upgrading and enhancing units is basically negligible and the difficulty of the game ramps up faster than any currency can keep up with. Online matchmaking is terrible. Unit cooldown time seems unreliable and inconsistent. Rock, paper, scissors system is not very useful, even when it's to your "advantage". Arrows on the battlefield are basically useless at higher levels, limited by their controllability as well as the arrow gauge. The upgrade system in CW is the most straightforward and effective. The developers have grown unnecessarily greedy and are really banking on the addictive start phase to pull money from players

I've been a daily player for over a year now... games was great WHEN I could get on.. but I upgraded my phone and now game won't get past 2and load screen.. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times, I've tried to clear all data and cache... I've tried everything.. in a loyal player and have invested alot of time and $$ in cw3.. please fix the issue and I will adjust my rating.. I just got the Note10+& everything is great on that end.

Why can't the company port the games to newer phones. Cartoon wars 1 and 2 are taken out of the app store leaving us with blade which is another version of gunner without the charm of gunner. Played the original two games years ago and remember a time where mobile games were fun to play without ads popping up every minute. Just bring the old games back and many people will download it back again

Good game but the problem with this game is it is too buggy for example when I grind Gunner mode and Adventure mode most of the time the results screen never comes or sometimes when I win or lose the game it says "Unstable network connection. Please try again." I am just like how is my network unstable even though my connection is strong? Gamevil fix your game. Thank you.

The game itself is great, but there's a problem: When you unlock gunner mode, the game does not give a free gunner unit or gems to buy it. Since you need to try gunner mode to continue the game, the game cannot be played once you unlock it.

Incredibly unintuitive UI, which makes the game very hard to get used to. The amount of stuff that is just useless is too immense, like when you claim quests and the rewards get sent to your mailbox, instead of directly to you. The amount of stuff in this game is also immense. There were many things i didn't understand and made mistakes before the tutorial got to explaining what the hell some of those mistakes i made are. All in all, don't get this game. Play an app more simple with better UI.

Excellent game overall, having played the first two. That being said, the enhancement system is chance based so large investments of time can feel like a slap to the face when sacrificing that 5 star unit with a 50% chance of success is a total failure. That aside, super fun to collect units and gives a lot of premium currency away in reasonabe fashion. Been playing over a year now.

I'm looking for a good game like battle cats. Like no confusing design, too much stuff. And no tutorial, literally, there's literally no guide and a lot of stuff, I don't know how to play. I don't like it. Please fix ctw 2 and I'll play

The reason I'm giving 5 stars is because of the fact that it takes a while to get good at it. And if your low on gold you can just do daily dungeon. If you need green crystals, log on the game daily. Want purple crystals? Do gunner mode. Want better units? Gunner mode. The game has plenty of ways to financially stabilize so it's easy once you start getting better research. And the arrows in the game are useful in the higher levels for stunning enimies and push them back. Just.play.wisely.

This doesn't work on android and it just says Security problem 5.2.2 please fix this bug I played this game for many years and I can't lose all my progress like this. Please fix this bug since it's applied to most android phones. I tested it on my other android phone and it said the same issue. Security Problem 5.2.2 well again please fix and also, it doesn't work on blue stacks, it's a android emulator. Might wanna fix this issue, these replies are seen frequently here.

Hey, mind explaining why i cant start the game? Is this some sort of bug? I mean, the game is cool, i was hyped to play it, and when i tried, guess what, it didnt start, i tried 24 times, still nothing, pls fix this bug/glitch, i want to play this game so bad, for now, i'll try sticking to the cartoon wars 1 or 2.

I perfer the 2nd cartoon wars because it felt more mature about the characters movement and voices. in this one, the characters movement was too fast and the voices doesn't sound right for me. if you were to detail some of the characters in this game, I would gladly continue playing this game.

Not working on Android 10. I was feeling a little nostalgic today & decided to redownload all cartoon wars on my Note 10+. Cartoon wars 1 & 2 still work, Blades takes forever but it still works. However, everytime I launch CW3, I get to & hear the gamevil screen, then it immediately crashes...

Just keeps crashing for absolutely no reason. Insanely busy screens and overly complicated upgrade and play mechanics make what was once a great original game into mind boggler just to get started. If the game ran well I could get past all that but on a pixel XL still can't run it? What gives!

It's not great, tired of the constant notifications. Too many pop up ads, I get you need money to develop but pop up ads are awful. Game won't let me just play the game modes that I want. I don't care if I unlocked a new mode, let me play what I want. All in all, too forced and not a good enough game to keep.

I really like this game, it is a simple and fun and addictive game. I only think it is hard to get a 7 star character. And I think it should be a bit easier to get one so you can get better more quickly. But allround this game is genius and super fun. I now have a problem with the game since it says I rooted my phone and now I can't play the game, however I have not rooted my phone. It gives this popup screen before closing: error [0x00004000] >rooted > /proc/net/unix Can this be solved?

Downloaded it because I enjoyed the original. Your quickly thrown into several adds and then a tutorial and can't change the settings (like music options) untill the tutorial which is several minutes long is over. For that alone I uninstalled it.

Allot to take in at first, tutorial is over simplified and acceptable but feels lacking. a total cash grab with in game micro transactions, and in game adds all the time for buffs (at least adds for something ) it's a big game and offered me a few hours but gets too hard and suggests you spend money.. how typical... recent update model claims I'm in violation of their cheat bot and refuses to go past the loading screen. This is completely jargon!!

I used to love cartoon wars... Unfortunately the developers became so greedy, implementing a firm basis of 'pay to win', this game is just... lost. I recommend playing the franchise, though i don't recommend playing CW3. You will be grinding over and over and over, just to be stuck on a level to drain your money. The best units/features requires money. Even if you farm crystals, the chances of getting good cards or units are at a 2% rating. I'm disappointed tbh. The server is a mess aswell.

this game is absolutely terrible, I would not recommend downloading it. the game is pay to win on another level, the chances of getting something good in a draw or roll is extremely slim, and if you do get something good then it really isn't worth playing because the troops easily overpower your troops; how can 3 stars beat my max level 5 star?? how can 2 stars beat my level 6?! overall this game is extremely boring and in retrospect a waste of time and storage://

Everything I loved from when I was little but more to learn and grind for! Of course the game can be buggy but what do you expect? it's a massive (ARCADE) game people will see one visual glitch and cry. Addressing the fact on people saying saying it's PTW, what? You have the ability to grind for everything you need but you have the CHOICE to pay for materials you might need to upgrade etc just like any other huge mobile game (just look at supercell)

Its fun & quite enjoyable because progress isn't really hard to make if yk how to play but it just has lots of server issues like having to reconnect to the server everytime I want to do a map level or disconnecting from the server and not being able to reconnect right after I beat a daily dungeon, wasting my efforts and not giving me any reward. Other than that, Its pretty nice.

Insane difficulty spike. Let me tell you something, I got lucky with rarer summons and units to spawn on the field, but even THEN at Lvl 30, enhanced, and what have you by the time I got to the 4th stage on EASY, I just get destroyed. Ok, so I thought maybe just switch over to the first stage on NORMAL. NOPE, got destroyed even quicker. So essentially, this game is pay to win. Shame on you. You guys had it all back with Cartoon Wars 2...then you all went to the dark side. So sad.

The game run slow on my phone and it look so old, no improvement in graphic or UI, No Event that interesting and limited dungeon just make the game more boring, there was a lot of feature but less gameplay and almost everything filled with micro transaction. Almost all currency can be acquired by paying while some currency can be gained by massive grinding. Not interested, No Fun, Old Game, with Slow Performance nope.
