Concept and easiness of choosing cars is great, but app is terrible and the website is not much better. I was trying to reschedule a date change and the app canceled my whole order. Had to call and get it fixed before they almost sold the car I chose. I deal with computers on a daily basis my whole life and the functionality of this concept is not ideal for older adults.
Extremely easy car buying experience, ridiculously frustrating title transfer and licensing. My last car i purchased in November. This is May and I'm still trying to get the title transfer and opiates completed. Also they sold me a car with locking lug nuts without the key. I had to pay $440 to get them all removed. Wasn't covered by the post sale insurance. I was only reimbursed $100 of that.
Maddening Searches When filtering cars based on make and model + a handful of features, the app shows you results that do not match the filters. This leads you to believe that the cars shown have features or options that THEY ACTUALLY DO NOT POSSESS. Things that may be 'deal-breaker' options like adaptive cruise control, or a 3rd row. Things that are not evident in pictures, so as a user you depend on the search results being accurate. It's a shady practice, and a poor user experience.
App was slow when looking for vehicles which needs to be improved. Overall the app was good and bought a vehicle, I did have to get on a physical computer last night due to the 2 hour count down to lock in the car. I recommend if you decide to buy a vehicle you are close to a computer for documents if you are financing the car, I had to run home and get on a PC before the time was done. The process online was so simple and I'm getting more for the car I traded in vs a dealer.
App is clunky and not user friendly. For example, when you click to uncheck models of car, hit update/save, it doesn't apply the filter and you're stuck looking at all models. They also think it's appropriate to send unsolicited text messages after requiring your phone number to create an account.
Honestly, Zero! I was really excited about the car I found. The delivery and verification process was easy. I received the car and the delivery driver started pointing out things not shown online. As I looked I also noticed more problems with the vehicle. Torn tires, extra chips in the paint, worn interior, missing floor mats, and last and worst the engine light during the 15 minute test drive.
Still waiting for my car. Thank goodness I didn't have any plans for the evening. Over 2 hours late so far... Nearly 30 min past my updated ETA, with no new update. The app doesn't have easy connections to support - like dispatch when you're waiting on the car. The track feature would be awesome if it worked. The location is not attached. I've been excited for a whole week after a fun time shopping and purchasing, but am beyond deflated by the lack of communication on delivery.
Looks great but doesn't function. Delivery tracking just shows a map of North America with no specific location of vehicle. I was unable to upload any documents from either Google Drive or from my phone's files. After having to upload everything on a PC, the app indicated for days that no documents had been submitted. If you purchase a car from Caravana don't bother with the app, the mobile website and desktop site work for the most part.
Terribly buggy. Impossible to search for anything specific. If you select a make/ model, it selects every single model from that make. The only way around it is to apply all the other filters. I noticed that a car I was in final stages of checkout with was in fact NOT a diesel as I had been specifically searching for. Seems like a great idea but intentionally dumbed down, probably for control
This app is unreliable and riddled with issues. When searching for cars, sometimes it can't return the results. There's an option to try again, but ultimately you need to close the app and try again. When attempting to make a purchase, it indicates incomplete tasks, but doesn't provide details. If you end up calling Carvana multiple times to verify what's outstanding, what's the point in using the app? Appointment times in the app are incorrect and inconsistent with texts.
The buying process is very simple, but the app can't really keep up. I find myself going to the website instead in order to view my favorite cars and complete certain actions because the app is either slow, buggy, or incomplete comparatively. The company Carvana is an exceptional service, however, and I wonder why I've bought a car any other way until now. You can use the app to start, but use the website to the finish shopping and paperwork until the app is up to the same par.
My experience has been terrible! The first car I "purchased", was listed as an automatic and ending up being manual. The 2nd car I picked put, was supposed to be delivered today and is now post-poned due to "waiting for the title "! When they scheduled my delivery, they didn't know they didn't have the title? To top it off, they had to have the actual proof of insurance to schedule delivery for car, so in order to do that, I had to purchase now. So I've been paying ins. for 2 wks with no car!
App is fine would be nice if your paperwork was accessable. The company as a whole needs to install a database to track customers issues/concerns though. Dropped to a three after dealing with their in house financing...turrrible my suggest would be to keep a hawks eye on their accounts and take screenshots of every transaction. Tried to turn in a late payment AFTER 100 percent of the loan had been paid prior to first billing. Only didn't happen cause I caught it that day and about flipped out
This app would be awesome if you could customize some of the payment options like the down payment so you can get a more realistic idea of the payments. It just decides for you an amount so if you want to put more down you have no idea if you can afford the monthly payment or not and good luck reaching a human.
For some reason all of the sudden nothing works in the app. Can't search, login, or anything. Hopefully the app is fixed soon. Though I did have a positive experience from before when getting a car. Very simple and easy to communicate with the staff.
Great experience using Carvana and the app. The only problem I had with the app was the tracker. But, I live out in the country, not always good service, so that could be the reason. Otherwise it works great. Much easier than using the website and more options!
Super easy! I started looking for cars on various apps and carvana had the best options for the cheapest price. I was able to do various searches to find what fit me best, and when I found the one I wanted, I was able to hold onto it for a while before I was able to pay. When I called with any questions, the woman was very helpful and we got it all sorted on 1 call. I'm so glad I decided to use them. Highly recommend!
The app is glitchy but the pictures of the vehicles are excellent. It is annoying when you apply your settings and it wipes everything and you have to start over. Not sure what the problem is but I'm sure carvana is losing sales because most people won't want to deal with it.
It can't maintain your info, frequently bugs out trying to load favorites. I can't even conduct a simple search. The website is great on a computer but mobile site leaves a lot to be desired. Hoped the app would be useful, but it's literally a waste of space on my phone.
Continuous inconveniences, customer service and managers do not know how to handle situations in a way that best benefits the customer (ironic). Terrible buying experience. My vehicle came with faulty brakes, scratches and dents that were not specified. It was also delayed 3-times and the check for the Inconvenience was due to arrive 2months ago, never received it. You guys suck. Do Better, Zero Stars!
The process was as easy as the commercial said it would be. My old car died pre pandemic shutdown. I was a whole pedestrian during the height of it. I needed a new car and found myself "just browsing" after a long work day. Using the app was great. I selected the car I wanted on a Monday, customer service was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I got approved for low interest rate financing and the car was delivered to my home Wednesday night. No complaints!
This app is maddening. Every time I try to search for specific vehicles, I get a much broader range of vehicles. For example, if I selected ONLY Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab, the app would change my search and show all Chevrolet vehicles. Truly a terrible and frustrating user experience.
Good experience. I had no issues or troubles with purchasing my vehicle. I did everything online. I didn't use the app. I just relayed on the app to look at things. One improvement could be the viewing of the vehicles you choose. It takes to long to load.
Awesome easy tool for purchasing vehicles, gives up front price and monthly payments couldn't be easier to manage. However I would have given 5 stars but the manage delivery date button caused me to immediately lose day of delivery and redo process of purchase, so I highly recommend calling them to do any changes on delivery or pick up date if selling. I have done both and was super easy and the customer service as very friendly and helpful, best part is you can understand them. Dont change!
I traded my sedan for an SUV. I love the simplicity of the process. No bullying, no stress. There were a few hiccups, but they were handled with the highest level of professionalism and with prompt attention. The SUV I picked up was terrific but not completely what I needed. So, I called and had it swapped out for another. Because I liked the one I picked up, I found just like it except a year older and 11k less miles (this time to be delivered). The driver was aces! I highly recommend! Thanks❤
Absolutely wonderful purchase experience. So smooth and no catches. Extremely fair price on my trade and the purchase price of the new car was comparableto dealer pricing. Even the delivery man, Treyvell was amazingly knowledgeable and friendly. Do it, you won't regret it!
I pre-ordered a car, but every single time I open the app it glitches and says my purchase window has expired. Plus the search has no way that I can see to search nationwide, or hide cars that are pending sale. Doesn't feel like a very well developed app honestly.
The app worked fine I suppose but what is the point of a car buying app where all the affordable cars are already accounted for. If you don't have the greatest budget (like me), get used to seeing PURCHASE PENDING on anything you can possibly afford.
Mediocre at best. No haggling or price matching even though local dealerships are cheaper for the same vehicle or better (higher model) . Really high interest rates, not sure if 18% is standard nowadays. No options for lower interest rates. Window stickers don't list the type of fuel (octane rating) needed for vehicle.
It's nice if you're just browsing. The searches jump around quite a bit, I can't lock in my personal down-payment, so I had to put that info in for every car I looked at to get an accurate apr, I needed to use my laptop quite a bit during the buying process, and the car tracker/delivery tracker hasn't worked for either of the cars I've ordered. It's an okay app, looks nice, but some bugs.
