CarWebGuru Launcher

I have been using CWG for about 3 years now, on my ATOTO A6 Pro and I am more then pleased. I don't have some of the problems that other are saying, all my functions work, (I was a little disappointed when the new version took away some of the features i was enjoying but I understand that the developer need to get compensated for their beautiful work!) all my hard coded buttons work great as so the soft buttons, and even the gesture controls work! connected to my cell as hotspot and using all my favorite apps is great! I recommend it for in-dash car android devices! so far the only issue and its minor is the compass widget is messed up if traveling north the needle has to come completely around to go to either side of north.

It used to be awesome. I even purchased in app add-ons. However, since last update most features broke. Most importantly, the app does not recognize the apps installed on my phone so as to have a direct access to them in the launcher. I have been waiting for a month already for this to be solved

This is one of the best launcher for Android Head units. I used Centronix theme before and it looks great. Recently purchased the RoadMap theme, but maps are not loading at all. Can you fix it and is any way to change maps to OsmAnd as this supports offline map and works much fast in AHUs

App is good but for some reason the play and skip button doesn't work with my player. I don't like the system play and already have my own play. Wish they can fix it

I purchased app. When will I get an activation number? Carwebguru doesn't show all of my apps, and because of that Bluetooth and Bluetooth audio don't work. If I switch to another launcher Bluetooth appears and works.

Since the latest update nearly all my apps are missing, so purchased the Pro version and still the same!! What has gone wrong with this app?? WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

My screen is unstable the screen keeps changing to a skin i dont like, like the other person say`s this was a Great Skin now it is acting up , I figured it out i uninstall then reinstall the app and now it works

Won't let radio run in background, so either run interface or play music, no choice. This has started since yesterday and looks like it's been a problem for mths. Please fix. The record permission keeps going back to default so nit worth trying again and again. Disappointing 😞

This is the best car interface available right now in my opinion. I don't want to have to design from the ground up and appreciate that 80-90% is customizable. This allows me to have a driving profile, an off-road profile, a city profile and so much more. I eally enjoy all the new features. Looking forward to even more.

Despite updating app, radio stops working when you go to Home Screen. Regardless, since day before, radio keeps crashing after 5 seconds and takes you to Home Screen. Bluetooth is chronically problematic since you have to keep pairing it manually each time you turn it on.

Hi is there a problem with the program only half my app are showing up so can't select any apps I need to use off any buttons in the themes I have to go into my settings all the time to open my default radio app And apps I had on different buttons Is there a fix

Good app but it still makes you watch ads for the themes on the pro version! Doesn't make sense, but overall good app 👍

I love the look of this launcher. It runs much smoother than other launchers I've tried. But, I'm only giving 3 stars because (and I've seen this from many other users), the radio WILL NOT play in the background once I go back to the home screen. I've tried all the little tricks that have been suggested and none of them work. No, tapping the HOME button instead of back does not work. Disabling the microphone in the app permissions will work, but if you do this, you can not open the setting or app menus. Not a good option. Fix this issue, and I'll be back.

I really love this launcher, it runs very smoothly on my head unit compared to the other car launchers. And i love the ability to add multiple homescreens, the widgets are great as well. The only pitfall for me is the built in music player, it works well but there's no other way to sort music besides having them in folders. if an option can be added to create playlist or even "favourite" a song , I will happily pay for the app.

This launcher is simply awesome - and the fact that it's free makes it even more so! After trying virtually all of the other car launcher apps, Carwebguru offers the most options and is at least as good looking (if not better) than most paid-for apps. However, that power does come with a bit of a learning curve. I originally almost gave up trying to get it to work when I realized I had not granted all of the necessary security privileges required - so if you've had trouble installing give it another try but give it all the permissions asked. The "instructions" included are sparse, but there are several Youtube videos and a forum topic at xda-developers that has more information available. With a little effort, Carwebguru provides a very professional appearance and integrates with media players such as Poweramp, PlayerPro etc. I also have Torque Pro installed and it works well together. As for Google Maps - I don't have roaming data but the downloaded map options work fine on the go.

I have been using this app for more than a year now and this is the best app. Im using it for both cars on Nexus 7 2013 tablets, very user freindly interface with lots of options, however, I would suggest to have an option for the connection with and OBD II to and read the car data/basic diagnostics as well. also it would be a great add on for an automatic rear view camera option.

Seems very flexible, except when you make changes to a theme, exit, use the theme, and go back (home button), it reverts back before the changes. Music player does not work, so the controls and artist, title labels are useless. I really wanted to use this launcher... Also note, developer does not seem to respond to any of these reviews!

I really want to love this app, so much customization - and free. But there are just too many incompatibilities, the launcher can't detect certain apps so I can't make them shortcuts, and none of the audio controls sync up with the built in radio or bluetooth player. Does anyone have a fix for this??

There is no built in AM FM tuner function anywhere. When you click and program the radio button on home screen, there is no radio icon that uses the inbuilt tuner AM FM radio. Also there is no Blue Tooth icon to open, they have changed the icon to something completely different. and you can not edit it. Also the screen brightness is too bright for night driving even after turning down the night driving brightness. I had to download a black screen app to fix this. Sound playback from phone bluetooth connection has no balanced output, it's too quiet, if you turn the volume up and then go back to DAB etc then sound blasts out too high. Otherwise I love it...

Everything was fine until the latest upgrade, I lost all my previous settings and config (wich took me months to set in a way a liked), and can´t find how to re-configure the app, now the music library starts scanning all media files every time I want to play a song and my library has more than 4 thousand songs that becomes a PIA, and app doesn't save the "music state", now everytime I'm in the main screen any media player shuts off even if the "mix audio" options are enabled, in fewer words this app doesn´t work any more, maybe I´m migrating to a more stable and functional car launcher app . . .
