Cash Droid Pro
REAL recurring transactions. Something that not only simply recalls the payments, but also allows you to plan incomes and expenses, and forecast your financial situation. The program also includes these transactions in reports and budgets.
ADVANCED, interactive reports. It is possible to analyze any data, broken down into categories, projects, payees, currency, etc. Each item of the report can be further analyzed drill down it on the other ingredients, make a monthly analysis, or simply view the transactions made up for it.
SAFE data backup. Automatically created as often as you want. The program will take care about the safety of your data. Additionally, data can be password protected. The program also has support for Dropbox.
FULL support for multiple currencies. The program always show you the sum value of your assets, taking into account the most recent exchange rate. The reports always show the real value in your default currency, regardless of transaction currency. Information broken down by currency is an option, not a limitation.
GREAT synchronization of data between devices. If you have a phone and a tablet or in a marriage you are using two phones, now the data will be automatically synchronized in the background. You do not need a server or other hosting services, everything from your Dropbox account.

The import and restore database doesn't work with android 11 and above. It crashes instead. Please update do it can work with that version of android.
Very good except developer doesn't answer your queries and you have to purchase another pro license after app crashes for unexplained reason! Still no answer from developer so tend to agree with other users comments that app has been abandoned. Great shame as there are still improvements thay can be made.
When I've transfered my accounts to new device all info about different currencies was lost and obviously it was a total mess... So disappointed, can't believe I have paid for this
Great app with multi currency and accounts, lacks cloud storage and backup, development seems to have been abandoned years ago 🤔😢

Amazing how difficult it can be searching apps when looking for one to record your checks and do simple banking transactions. I have tried many and what I liked best about this one was that I was able to use it to not only set up reminders but do synchronization between multiple devices by using the cloud all without any fees... Also reconciling is straight forward as well.
I've been using the Pro version for years, but today it stopped working. I suspect that since the app is no longer maintained, some recent Android update broke it. The free version still works, but it won't let me export the database so that I could use my data in a different app, because it's a feature unlocked in the Pro version. I'm basically locked into the ad-supported app
Have been using Cash Droid Pro for a number of years. Cash Droid Pro does everything you could possibly want for a personal finance app - and much, much more. Well presented UI. Never had a problem with this app. Auto sync function works well & it's great to be able to restore data from Dropbox when changing mobile phone. Edit (11.08.17): Sad that this app is no longer being supported by the developer. With the Dropbox feature ceasing to work from 28.09.17 am now using Expense Manager Pro, a similar app, which has excellent developer support. I guess if you just need a stand-alone personal finance app, then this will suffice.
Still a very useful app, even with the loss of Dropbox. For those who still want to use cloud backup there is a a workaround: Disable cloud backup to auto backup to your local device, and then sync that folder with Google Drive or other cloud service. It does not help those using multiple devices who want to always have them in sync, but it's an acceptable workaround for single device users wishing to back up to cloud. Syncing multiple devices could still be done this way, but a bit fiddly and irritating. For single device users, still good.
Hi guys Your app is awesome ! got the paid version and using it for a while - awesome! however, one thing is missing it would be extremely useful if you could add receipt recognition feature. eg. scan receipt and add its content to the db automatically. Sometimes it takes ages to fill in all the expenses from a receipt so end up just putting one record eg. food and that is terribly inconvenient. cheers!
DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU WANT SYNC - DOES NOT WORK W ANDROID 4.4+ !!! Formerly happy free user, now extremely unhappy. The ONLY reason I bought this (other than the fact that I really liked the free version), was to use the Device pairing / sync feature. Welp. There's zero documentation on it, and the app is stuck on 'Searching' in Device Pairing, with "Create the group" greyed out. Yes, I've already authorised it to use Dropbox. It's either useless for syncing purposes, or the UI really needs to give a clue as to what, exactly, it is 'searching' for, when it is supposedly creating a group from the main device.
Ever since anMoney (which I loved) stopped working when I switched phones, I've gone through all checkbook finance apps. I was never satisfied. Then I found Cash Droid Pro. Everything I was looking for and more. Anyone reading should give it a try.
It has not synced of data between devices. I sent mail to developer but they did not response since last one month.
Excellent addition of pairing devices! Thank you! LOVE the scheduling options and the budget feature is fantastically useful. Best replacement of ms money. Great job! Will you be updating the cloud storage issue with Dropbox(9/2017)? Still love it by the way, it's an essential app for me!
It's stopped backing up.. but it's still the very best financial app available. No question. Import qif etc. Budgeting. Split transactions. Unlimited categories. Unlimited accounts. Savings, Investments, Cash etc. Vast array of reports. Just get it if you want the best. I'm pretty sure support ended years ago so do backup!! The best. Apart from AnMoney. Also abandoned. Shame.
Your instruction page seems to be for some other program. The program promises but does not deliver. Do not waste your money like I did
Was a Great App, now longer works with Dropbox. Has not been updated in years. Will not update on Android 11. Cannot restore my account.
I love the app but have purchased the pro version and had some upgrade issues. I've been trying to contact the company for support but have had no luck. I can't add more accounts and I can't use dropbox.
I love this app. I've tried all the budget/accounting apps and this one was by far THE best. But it's stopped working. I suspect its android updates but I can't get into the app now and I've lost a my data
Tried twice to contact the developer with no luck. Just bought the pro version to be able to use it on 2 devices. Developer won't reply to my emails. Very disappointed!
Abandoned. Great app, but DropBox sync will cease working in a few weeks. No updates and no response from the developer.
Brilliant App, but no longer backs up to Dropbox and now unable to export or backup any data directly to my phone either. It goes through the motions of backing up but no file is actually created. If you change your phone, you've no way of carrying over your entries. Developer doesn't respond to any emails 😔
