This application is an educational game to practice the payment situation on the cash point. You can select in the settings either if you want to take the role of the cashier or the role of the shopping person.
Target group:
All people who like to learn on a playful level dealing with coins and bills and want to improve their performance in mental arithmetic. Cash Trainer thus enables "risk-free" samples of a real situation on the cash point.Since the amount of the price can vary between 10, 100 and 1000 and the rounding precision can be adjusted, all levels are covered.Currently these currencies are available: EUR EuroUSD US DollarCAD Canadian DollarRUB Russian RubleGBP British PoundAUD Australian DollarMXN Mexican Peso
The tasks of the two modes are different:
1. You operate as cashier
You will see the coins and banknotes of your cash register. Further a random amount under TOTAL is displayed. At the same time at the top of the display banknotes appear that you have just received from your customers. This amount is also displayed in the field marked as RECEIVED. Your task is to move the correct change money to the orange box, and finally press the "Confirm" button. Cash Trainer now checks the change and tells you whether you have calculated correctly. Then the next amount to be paid appears and the procedure is repeated.
2. You are the shopper
You will see the coins and banknotes of your wallet. A random amount under TOTAL is displayed again. To pay you have to move your coins and banknotes to the orange box, this will be confirmed with an audible click. The information "missing", "sufficient" or "exact", depending on how much money is already in the orange pay box appears to the left of the price. Then press the "Pay" button. Cash Trainer is in the role of the cashier and returns you the change money, but watch out – it is probably not correct! Your task is to check the change money and confirm or disconfirm it by simple yes/no-decision. Your decision will then be checked by the Cash Trainer which lets you know whether you have guessed correctly. Then the next amount to be paid appears and the procedure will repeat itself. It does not work. It does not explain where u need to turn in the money, but when i found out, the coins dont even work. It keeps saying i got it wrong
When I was using yen and operated as cashier,I gave ¥619 change,but when I tapped Confirm,the app said I gave ¥664 change! Please fix this! P.S. I received ¥1 000, and the total price was ¥381. I found out that I had to give ¥619 change.

Would be the perfect app..if it worked. Keeps saying I miscounted when I didn't. As in only put $0.00 or $5.00 when I put $25.00+ I also find the workspace disorganized.
To also play with USD nickels & pennies you need to change the default setting of rounding to the nearest 0.10. Some negative reviewers have missed this option.
been hunting for this. I've been looking for over a month for this kind of app. I can't wait to get the pro version. This will really help with my training as a cashier.
Nice app but the design is outdated. Also, people don't use 50 cent coins in the US anymore.

Would be 5 stars if the USD was accurate We don't use 2 dollar bills 50 cents and 1 dollar cents. Also need to add nickels and pennies.
unfortunaley this is the best app for android and it does work well but that fact that it doesnt have nickles or pennies makes it not us able
Awesome! I'm getting better every time I use the app but I've never seen a 50 cent coin in Canada. They don't exist can you please remove it?
It does not work at all, the app gets stuck in a loading screen.
the coins are not correct, there are no 50 cents coins in the US, and in the application there are no pennys and nickel
5 star rating, counting an receiving giving correct change is a must.
Its handy... But lately its loading forever.
Everyone who works checkout and handle cash should use this. Even company policy is you enter input money on system and POS calculate change person should calculate something on head too, when you just pressed Enter and you need yourself calculate change and no calculator on round.... Is harder when 1.c and 2.c are used too. When shift is over is your balance +30.32 or - 300.89 is big question...
How can a 3 colors 2D app can lag that bad?

Enjoying the app. I'm a cashier and I wanted to practice giving change in case of errors when computing into the register. US needs at least nickles if not pennies too. Would give it 5 stars then. Also two dollar bills and silver dollars are not in regular rotation. Might be kind of confusing for a foreigner trying to learn US currency.
