Great service, payment service has got so much better, within 10 minutes used to take upto 6 hours. I cannot fault their service in any way. Had a few teething problems when they first started but now fine. With their Credit Builder I managed to get rid of past problems and now have opened a full blown credit card account with one of the Major Banks, a thing that was only a dream 3 years ago. 100% service, thanks Cash Plus for all your help and being able to talk to their UK ustomer service.
Can't search transactions, I have to sift through all transactions to find one particular payment. On the plus side the notifications when payments come in is very helpful. Could be improved upon but not the worst I've encountered
Updated review. Had an issue where the bank had not issued me a new card spoke to the bank and at no point was there any mention of a fee to reissue the card and only found out when I checked my Ballance the next month. I had no notification that my balance was now in the RED and I'm sure they will soon start adding charges on top of charges for them putting me in to a negertive balance will be closing my account once I'm able to get through to them Wich me luck as they hardly ever answer
BEWARE -The standard cashplus card IS NOT a credit building device. On clearscore this was recommended to help me build my credit score (I have lived in Germany for 6 years so my credit score for the UK is now non existant) But when I activated everything on the app this ended up being some silly prepaid card that I have to load with money (There is also a £6 monthly fee) after installing I realized that I dont qualify for their credit builder function so this product is not as recommended on CS
Totally useless. Why is there no "add funds" or top up card in the app ANYWHERE. I paid for this rip off so I could transfer cash, but apparently they lied, all I can do is walk down the street with bundles of cash to top up in a post office. I want a refund, I've paid £10 and am expected to pay a further £10 a month for what is basically a FREE post office accout, which can ONLY be topped up from a post office. Refund now, my family work for channel 4 (uk) dispatches, I'm calling them now
Seamless. Only slight criticism would be when sending and receiving money, it takes up to 2 hours whereas standard online banking goes out and in almost straight away. This sometimes makes you think your transaction was unsuccessful and thinking a customer hasn't paid still. Other than that, can't recommend it enough for a small family business
The only bonus to this account is that I don't have to make the 100 mile round trip to pay cash into my account. Their immediate payments are a farce, nothing immediate about them. I actually thought the payment I made to my own account hadn't gone through, went to repeat it as it wasn't reflected in my balance when a notification popped up to ask if I was sure as I had just made a similar payment. Incidentally payment still hasn't gone through may cause payments on my other account to return!
Run and run!!! only interested in leveling charges against you than paying for what you owed. Firstly, direct debit are not allowed. It was done so you can possibly miss your next payment. Last month, I actually remember to pay bf the due date. However, I was restricted by the app to make payment. I tried several times consecutively for days to no avail. I took a screenshot and sent them email in that regards, nothing was done. I was charged £12 for nothing. It's a scam to rob your money.
This app has improved in last 2 years when I said this ""new security measures are a fekkin pile of poor, often out of service, , plus there is no way to store large balances safely in second no card access account ,its ok as long as you don't have more than £1 or 2k in account now I give it 3 stars not 1 star 😉
Entered all my details got accepted tried to log in to the app and my details are not recognised username doesn't exist incorrect password is this a scam to get everyone's personal details to then go forward to do fraud
Very good when you get to grips with how CASHPLUS system works, been with them almost 2 years good wages put in but never been offered a loan or overdraft and now ready to set up a business account as my business has picked up but might have to look at other offers
It's rubbish. Tried to change my password, you cannotin unless you are logged in. So, I'm definitely logged in, how can it say my current password doesn't meet the criteria? I've already used the current password to get this far... doesn't anyone ever check these apps out properly? Why have I had no response to multiple requests for login details to the online banking account I took out, I've never been on it yet, and had the account nearly a year? Account ending in ****5314? cost £5 a month but it's a fair app, notifications for incoming payments is most useful thing for me, usually payments come in immediately b
High charges yearly fee and don't inform of anything also can't get your statement of what you spend etc on your app ,go for an account that's more clear cut and not hiding fees etc
I am having problem and not easy to resolve. Telephone call center takes very long to answer your call. Tecnical team dont have time long hold on line and not happy. They should have 0800 & not expensive tel. Number for calling.
Incredibly slow to react to any inputs related to payments, going in to or going our from the account. As a business, this is not the impression I would like to leave with my customers. For a digital bank, this is not acceptable. I use other banking apps for my personal banking, all are far more efficient - including my crypto currency apps. This is a typical example of the banking system failing customers for self benefit. These transactions being delayed must be of benefit to them somehow....
Great Internet banking business. Now a bank and after being with them for a few years am completely satisfied. Recommended and fast service always!
Great app but beware that Cashplus will reduce your credit limit without notice if you don't use it. I went from £1000 to £50 without even knowing. Great idea. Useless if you have it in your wallet for emergency reasons.
Useless automated system doesn't let you speak to an actual person when there is a major problem with the account.
I have downloaded the app and received my card. All set to go. However when tranafering payment to this account. First few times it was an hour to show up. Now the time seems to increase. Been 3 hours still not showing uo payment.
App is glitchy. Keeps generating errors resulting in need to log out and back in when setting up payees
I've tried to pay 4 times, through the app, and then over the phone, my bank says pending, and money is there for them to take, but each time they haven't taken it, it's been 10 days! Now tried to make a bank transfer!
Online payment schedule is terrible unless you have to phone and speak to someone and give every financial detail to some advisers instead of being able to pay on app .
Ever since latest update, can't get verification code from app to use to login on pc , the app just restarts wen I got to verification code feature
No longer receive statements through the app. No longer able to make payments through the app. Customer service on telephone can't help me, gave me an email address to contact but no reply. Guess there will be no reply on here either?
Brilliant. I think this bank is great. Only one point. The card number has disappeared! So I can't read it but just a minor thing. The lady, Phillipa, was great though talking me through it all.😁
You cannot pay your credit card balance off through the app, the details to pay via bank transfer are not complete so it cannot be done that way and trying to pay by phone has you waiting endlessly in a queue with the worst hold music of all time. Fine, you won't get your payment off me til you fix the app. No skin off my nose!
