It does what it says on the box, it's a great app for playing music and I'm diggin the retro cassette look. The only complaint I have is the typical pay to get rid of ads gimmick but unlike other apps this one is worth it. I'll eventually pay for it but i would pull the trigger sooner if there was something else in it besides just using the app sans ads like being able to dl and save music I don't have to my library in glorious 320kbps
It is one of the extremely AMAZING look music player ever created!! The fantastic cassette tape packs and beautiful design makes me addictive to this player and will not use any other one forever. But I have a small request. Can the creator please make a cassette tape changing sound effect and the ability to change the writing font on the tape with a custom fonts.Please try to make it,because it will be amazing to put my own font and to hear tape changing FX.

The app doesn't just go away at the lock screen even when the app is off. Thats a deal breaker. And you cant even use the widget at the lock screen. No "recently added" to find your most recent songs. So sad
Works great and streams cloud stored music really well compared to other apps I have used. They should really talk that piece up more as a feature as it connects really well to my Google drive for streaming
Great player!!! Great idea and execution. Brings memories back. I wish the player could tap to Spotify and work as a skin. This would be absolutely amazing. Thank you for creating this app. Update: Can you please fix the level meters? They do not correspond to the music being played. They just move randomly even afer the song faded out. Also the animation of the analog meters and tape reels could be improved. It is not smooth even when set to 30 fps. The app is awesome.
I like the user interface and how it simulate the tape player. However, it would really be a good idea if we can lock the tape playing animation without the buttons and song info. This way it would really feel like you are playing in a portable cassette player. Overall, this is a GREAT app for a cassette player simulator!!! Keep the new features coming!
Amazing app....I love it! Best reproduction of actual cassettes from the past few decades that you're going to find, and beautifully done. Unlike another reviewer, I actually like that it auto-changes cassettes with each song so I can see and learn all about 'never seen before' cassette tapes, such as the Roulette Wheel tape. Maybe the developer can provide an option for either alternating the tapes, or keeping the same one for all songs and/or album titles. I thought an older version had this option, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyhow, awesome work by the developer. Check out his app Vinylage also....it's just as impressive, and similar....but with vinyl records!
ONLY 1 FLAW! Pay to remove the adds please. I LOVE the player it's easy to use and the most important thing is you can build PLAYLIST very easily. I am not a streaming music person and I own my music so I want A music player to at least let you easily make playlists and this one does it. Love the retro cassette players and cassette selection. Reminds me of the days I had made my own cassette mixes. I would give it 5 if you can remove the annoying add at the top by paying a few bucks.
Paid version so I don't have to put up with the advertising all over the product. The ads are intrusive. I also would like to see just the spinning tapes on the widget. Also like to see an actual walkman like skin on the player. Also customizable cassettes, besides those that are on the player itself. Thank you for your time
Playing familiar music with this app was quite an experience for me. I could relieve sweet memories especially with those songs I loved and cherished as a youth. I applaud the vision of the app developers; they made the app easy to use with graphic interfaces we can relate with. Sound output is great too! A very big thank you for relating me to my pleasant past.
Great app! Love the selection of tapes and I hope they add more and and the ability to use album art on a cassette would be nice. Another thing I hope it adds is the ability to move a song to the top or bottom of a playlist, it can be very tedious to rearrange a playlist if it's large.
Update: Android 11 bug is fixed, back to 5 stars! I love the retro look and accuracy of the cassette dynamics, even the realistic turning rates of the reels. I don't like the loss of loudness when the equalizer and bass boost are used. A suggestion for an update: when playing a full album or playlist, the tape reel should be able to show progress through it as a whole, rather than restart with the "tape" jump from one spool to the other with each new song. That would complete the experience
Works perfectly on Galaxy tab, volume is low but I can compensate for that. Only mod I would like to see is to be able to cast with chromecast. I have used mirrorcast but the screen shuts down after a while leaving a blank TV screen, music still plays though. I like this a lot and I have tried many.
Excellent music player especially if you are of a certain age who remembers compact cassettes. I like to match the cassettes age to the era of the music for an authentic experience and for those like me who used to stare in awe at VU (volume unit,) meters or the later style LED or FL level meters that jumped along to the music then this is just wonderful. Requests to the developer: dump the equaliser and replace with proper bass/treble/loudness controls and do peak holds on the level meters. 5*!
I love this player! The design is so original and well thought out. It brings back wonderful memories! It is much easier to make playlists than it was to make mixtapes. It's a lot of fun discovering all the things you can tweak, from the UI to the equaliser, you can really take the time to make it yours. Well worth the little money to get rid of the ads, and seeing the great work the dev has put into it, I was more than happy to pay. Well done, and thank you!
More stable than my previous stalwart music player. It also has a lot more eye candy options available. I still have to delve deeper to see if this has all the audio options as my other player has as yet but so far, same quality music playback. The other options such as tempo, pitch, reverb etc have yet to be explored but to be honest I never use these functions anyway. So two thumbs up (if I was Rick James I would definitely five this app 4 thumbs up). ;-)
Finally an option to get rid of the immersion destroying adds. +I don't actually click on them no more! Love the player, I use PowerAmp and Casse-o-player, both are my all time favorites! Again, gladly paid to see the adds gone. And thank you for the player! Would it be possible to add distortion and crackle, like old tapes did? I believe you had this initially by default...
