Cassino Card Game

The classic card game Cassino also known as Casino.
The rules are simple, but the game is anything but simple. This is a great card game for both children and adults. Try the Daily-5 where you compete daily against all players where they are all dealt the exact same cards.

Each player starts the game with four cards and four on the table. Players may capture one or more matching cards or combinations of cards that add up to the same rank. You can build on to combinations on the table making one or more groups that match a card in your hand.

Cards are dealt four at a time until their are no more in the deck. The last player to capture a card takes the remaining cards on the table.

Scoring: 2
- Big Cassino (10-diamonds) 1
- Little Cassino (2-spades) 1
- Each Ace 3
- Most cards captured 1
- Most spades captured 1
- For each Sweep (when a capture takes all of the cards on the board)

Play single games or play a multiple-game match where the first player to score 21 points wins.

The opponent goes first all the time, you can't steal any builds the opponent starts, but you're are taken from you. Things happen that shouldn't. The opponent did something I was allowed to do, stole a stack by adding on to it. Too many suspicious things going on. Not on the upon up. Give - 2 🌟 There are other more honest games to play.

Best Cassino game, period. Exactly the way we always played it back in the sixties, but never heard of sweep so that gets turned off. We used a house rule though (can't build on point cards) to make the game more difficult. Also three handed would make the game more interesting. Options that would improve the game. Only problem is I've yet to lose. An experienced player should have no trouble winning matches.

Finally, a version that gets it right! The scoring is the same as the way my grandfather taught me to play and the play works perfectly, building, adding to a build, being able to take something off the table before being forced to take your build....all the things that are enraging in other app versions of this game. And idk what the other reviewers are talking about, I've beat the computer plenty of times and it never feels like the AI has an unfair advantage. Love it!!

I agree with another reviewer, the computer always gets the last face card no matter what. Unless you can build something, you can't get the last pick up when you are dealing. The computer ALWAYS gets last pick up when dealing because it ALWAYS has a face card on last hand. Very frustrating! Otherwise, it's a good game as far as graphics, etc

Can't stack face cards or capture, in some cases, a sum of your playing card with what's on the board. I also wish there was an option to start first, because I purposely lose a quick game to play myself starting in a "to 21" game. I wish there were more customization options for gameplay. Everything else is decent.

Can't build on what the bot builds, but the bot can build on what you build. Have played on and off for like 6 months, still hasn't be fixed. Very irritating.

App is the worst. Pvp is the slowest experience I've ever had on the internet. Game is stacked. Algorithm is wack. I do not recommend. You'll have more honest fun watching grass grow.

Awesome. Plays perfectly, exactly the rules I learned 60 years ago (according to Hoyle). It allows builds, multiple builds, stacking and coverting previous builds; it does not allow a discard once you habe built something, All just right. Players who complain that the computer or AI cheats or has an edge, perhaps are not very good strategists in this gsme ;) . I was able to "outfox" the computer just fine. My hat's off to the developer; good job Zol!

Best cassino app I've found, and I highly recommend. The AI is formulaic, but uses a solid enough strategy. There is a fun "Daily-5" option which lets you compete against other players playing the same cards vs the AI. The rules are a standard rule set, but some options for other variants would be nice (i.e., allow multiple builds at once or change your own build if you have the legal cards for it), as would an option to play against more than one opponent.

Well designed program with intelligent bot opponent. Variable difficulty levels would be cool as an update.

Decent. Ill give it 3 stars and I'm being nice rating it that. Only major complaint is that the cards needed to win the game is NOT evenly distributed between the user and the computer. Far too often the computer wins because of the fact that they got the better cards throughout the series of the game. Out of the 10 games the computer will about 7 every time, not because the computer out played you but because the computer just got dealt better hands throughout the game.

This can be a fun game and a frustrating one when it doesn't play by the rules. When I build 6s for instance the computer can slap a 3 on the pile and build 9s. But when the computer was building 9s and I laid an Ace on it to build 10s it wouldn't let me.

One of my favorite card games but there's always issues with the connection while you're playing someone and it won't connect back fast enough and you end up forfeiting. So frustrating!! I hope they resolve this annoying issue ASAP!!!!

This is the only app of this particular card game I've seen, which is good because it's one of my favourite card games. The implementation is good, there doesn't seem to be a detectable bias for the computer player but it's still possible to have a competitive game where you can't always win; again that's a good thing.

321 players played the Daily 5 today. 2 had a winning score, 1 had a tie. The last time I checked 3/321 is not more than 50%. CLEARLY the computer has an edge. Went from 2 stars to 1 because of the arrogance of the developer. There's obviously a flaw somewhere. There's no shame in trying to fix it.

This game is not random at all. Just played a hand where every card I played the computer was able to build sevens on the table and gues what the computer had for the final play of the hand? A seven! Got 7 cards in one play. Not the first time its happened either. A very frustrating game because the user has no chance.

Only real issue im having is not bein able to stack rank and builds at the same time yet cpu is permitted to do so and not have to pick up a rank or build with in the next turn. Before picking up anything else i was forced to pick up my build or rank on the following turn.

I have enjoyed playing this game, although the rules are a little different than how I play at home. But the only issue I have is for the last week there has been an error and it wont allow me to play the beta anymore. I have sent an email and I haven't heard anything back and the error is still not fixed :( I just want to play the game :)

7/12/19 Just locked up again smh 6/26/19 Love this game but right now it intermittently locks up at the end of the Daily 5 and requires me to shut down the application entirely and re-login. When I do that the Daily 5 says "In Progress" instead of showing me my ranking for the day. Then the next day it will say Did Not Finish. And of course it's only done this after I've won.

well this game succks they say 50% plus win no way for me if you do win a game you will lose next 3. the computer always gets the aces and if you get an ace it is with face cards or 2's or 3's and if you try to build your ace will get taken. out of ten games i got 3 aces total. and only won one game. so i disccarded for three games and didnt take a card. computer would then finally discard an ace but if you win the game right back to the stacked hands you cant build.

Been playing this app a while only cuz it kills time but it frustrates me that the CPU always matches my hands, especially when I stack, or if an ace, big or lil cass is on the board I have face cards or I can't stack em. I find myself playing in a way that I know what hand the CPU would have, which is not anyway how I would play a game with a physical 52 deck of cards.

Does not seem random in fact it seems like the computer knows exactly what's in your hand and can grab it. Also I wish there were different scoring options beings how there are many different way to add up points in this game.
