Cast to Chromecast Fire TV Android Smart TV ROKU

It's better than other apps I've tried. I just wanted to cast local files to the TV but everything else I've tried gets hung up. This plays the video nearly instantly. And you can browse your other videos while it's playing, or bring you the controls to skip around, play and pause. Selecting a new video switches almost instantly again. Vertical videos look squashed and fill the whole screen so you'll need to convert. Ads do play every other video on the phone (not TV) but you can silence it.

Cannot select folders to lost. Multiple errors while casting

I've tried at lest a half dozen apps for this purpose, today only this one works, no pop-ups, fast and efficient. Ty!

Have never had this caster buffer, NOT ONCE!! No delays, like 2 min. later the video starts. I have tried them all. Once you learn to work around the app, it's works perfect EVERY TIME!!!! Worth the money for premium. No loop play yet. Please put in loop, so video starts over automatically. Good when you must leave the room.

Just installed app on an Android device for a Amazon Fire TV, to stream movies from a server / mirror application to play movies, and this application is working so far, without any issues at the moment , but if any issues arrise I will Re-Rate and provide feedback for others whom may be considering to use this application. As to ease of use it was bing bang boom, I installed the app on my Android phone and searched for the Fire TV and it popped up then put in link to the movie, and watching it.

Doesn't work when phone is used as hotspot

Trash! Start video. Press button to cast onto TV. window pops from your app, stops the video. To tell me to check big screen. Big screen says can't play video. Hmm maybe because you keep stopping the video to play, just to show me this redundant pop up. Thanks for nothing. Waste of time. If I could give it no stars, trust me I would.

Amazon's third generation Fire Stick, like it's predecessors, excels in most ways but suffers with one major disappointment. The remote is small, light, basic, and worse. This app, for me, is why it is not sent back to amazon. It's everything the remote should have been and more. Its only downfall by is it's a pain with a touch screen.

Great App! It picks up all of my cast devices which include Chromecast, Firestick and a Sony surround sound. It's very simple and easy while providing a secure, ad free ( premium feature), browsing experience . I am finally able to enjoy browsing and casting to all of my devices with one app! Kudos to the developer!

Castify simply works better, especially true if you're a roku owner, quick cast has some nice bookmarks to streaming sites and that's nice and all but that's about it, a lot of them are still broken links despite the creator claiming "all is fixed". I would rather manually add my own favorite bookmarks anyway and use those alone as I did with Castify, built in roku remote, etc. Sure remote is good to letting you steam everything but mkv files.

Doesn't stream video from several websites, even though both devices were connected properly. Also, too many ads. Search Google Play instead for "Allcast", which is better and has less ads.

I went ahead & purchased the Quickcast for $5.99 hoping I could cast my movies from the OK app or the OK website which has so many nice classic movies on site. Unfortunately when casting, I received a failure 2 cast message. I dont care about the money but its just very inconvenient went u cant cast using chromecast or firestick.

Hard to easily contact customer service. Feedback: it should at least add the option to arrange bookmarks by name. Also, when I open the app the screen doesn't open properly. - Also they don't seem to want to make any updates, which is sad.

It's a good app for streaming online contents. But in my case I can't control the playbacks on my Samsung TV, only be able to restart it, can't pause or move forward or anything, so inconvenient.@

It's a good. But it needs a proper file manager. It's really cumbersome scrolling through all the the video files in my phone and not being able to find the file that I'm looking for.

Most of the time it works if you dont mind rebooting your cromecast on a regular basis and playing around with it. Its better than paying cable. Its sometimes a pain but its free.

another greeedy4money app. too many ads and then it disconnects. the developers make money but the users are disappointed...I will use a Windows phone that comes with cast. I am sick of rubbish apps on this platform. update: I lowered my rating from 3 stars to one. it disconnects frequently and I cannot put up with it any longer.

I wish if you paused your movie, after awhile if it went back to the casting screen you could pick up where you left off , I'd give it a 10/10 if that could be fixed.

I loved using the app before the update .. now It won't even connect to my tv ... Terrible .. it needs to be fixed

Ad free takes awhile. Alot of streaming sites has ads and your browser needs to have multiple tabs so we can close the ads. Right now, having paid for ad free, it is still not useful.

This is a great app very quick to install i have not had any problems with it so far 5 stars

It connects to my tv but some times it disconnects unexpectedly

Didn't work at all. Everytime I tried to play a video it just took me to an ad and then back to the same screen. I tried 5-6 times on 2 different videos. Needless to say, I am uninstalling the app.

Lack of file browser makes locating files difficult and the videos I tested, once I did find them, had no audio. Edited/updated 6/1/20: Over a year later and still no file browser? From 2 stars, to 1 👎 💩

This app is ok, but I have an issue, in local videos the order is by recent, what is frustrating to find a specific video, I'd like to browse by albums, it would be perfect.
