Castaway Paradise

Solid game, with cute characters and lots of customization. It isnt impossible to make money--you make a lot when you complete simple tasks and it gives you the option to watch ads for free things. I uninstalled shortly after and was only kept entertained for a few hours, though; theres only so much to do and it gets old after a while. Some of the quests are unclear and I never figured out how to get peppers or plant trees--maybe im just dumb. Overall, not too bad but wont be playing again.

Played for about 10 minutes then gave up. The controls/camera are horrendous. Love that it's very close to a Animal Crossing game, the only reason I give 3 stars instead of 1, but it's not worth playing due to those major issues. Best thing to do is fix it to where our character stays in the middle of the screen or add a virtual joystic. I'd really like to play this game, so please fix it.

Cute game with fun & quirky characters! The UI layout is a bit cluttered & confusing to navigate through. Can be annoying when getting pop ups for rewards/to purchase something. Fairly easy to earn money & refill energy for FREE players! A few bugs but overall wonderful game. It takes some time getting used to. I just wish there was more cam angles and a day/night mode.

(Updated with Cloud saves, so my only complaint is gone) This is honestly one of the only games on the app store that is an actual game. As a mix of Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon, with all of the annoying features removed, this is easily one of the best games on the app store. (I haven't played since the addition of Cloud Saves, but intend to eventually. Am unaware of new bugs etc since last update)

Probably would've loved this game if it weren't for the controls. Tap to move controls aren't fun to use and these are broken. I'm still in the tutorial and I need to move down, but my character goes to the bottom of the screen and the map won't scroll. I'm just stuck here. I've tried moving all over the screen and it won't scroll for anything.

Game is fun, but has a serious issue with controls that make the game annoying to play. When you move your character downwards, the camera doesn't always follow, basically leaving you stuck in place. If you walk into a map border, your character will start spinning around. NPCs do this too. Fact that the game has been out for this long and still suffers this game breaking issue is kinda sad

This doesn't work on Vivo Y81, it just shows black screen for the entire time Well I'll just have to delete and find new games though Edit:It now works!! But I instantly delete it because the controls doesn't impress me, it is kinda off because the camera/POV doesn't really focus on my character. The graphics was ok 3/5. But it would be better if we can rotate the screen for a new POV of the island and add joystich too and improve the graphics and that NPC walking randomly everywhere. Thats all

It's a great idea and it brings alot of aspect of animal crossing onto mobile gaming but personally I feel there is a little too much going on on the screen at once and it takes away that calming feeling games like this tend to give off, also the controls are very hard to handle, causing you to get stuck in some places if you do not walk fast enough in a certain direction

Moving furniture around is super awkward. Stand where you want the furniture-> access inventory-> select furniture-> drop furniture-> select tools inventory-> select movement tool-> rotate furniture. Seriously...? That isn't too many steps to place a chair? Accessing inventory is awkward. Figuring out how to sell inventory was in no way obvious. There are too many pop ups suggesting ads and worse, pop ups asking you to "share" the game. The game requests access to your phone to "make calls." No? It says it is similar to Animal Crossing. I don't think I agree. I found it tedious, cluttered, and very very slow. If movement was quicker, there were zero pop ups(and instead a small icon for ads and another for sharing within the inventory or settings menus) *and* I could place furniture more easily, I could see a future with this game. I like the idea. As it stands, this was not fun at all.

Used to play this years ago. Seems like it's gotten far worse since then. Camera does a horrible job at following the player, NPCs disappear into the ocean, and the new stamina based system forces players to endlessly watch ads or use microtransactions. In summary, super buggy and entirely dependent on ads/pay to win

By the looks of this game, it reminds me of one of my FAVORITE GAMES, Animal Crossing. But when I tried opening the game, it doesn't do anything but a black screen. Ive restarted my phone, and it still is a black screen when I try to open the game. 😒 I was REALLY looking forward to playing this game too. Super bummed 💔 PLEASE FIX THIS???

I was actually enjoying this game. Until it crashed and kept me in an infinite loading screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it wiped, like, an hour of progress. I finished the tutorial again, quit from the settings screen, and went back in. Infinite loading screen. You can't exit the game without completely starting over.

The controls were so annoying. You can't even change it. I was about minutes into the game then i deleted it afterwards. Although the graphics were good but I wish the controls could be changed into a joystick or an arrow function.

Great game to play to waste time. A lot like animal crossing. Would be really great if they could update it so you can travel to a different world and have more to do as I have now completed it and it's quite repetitive.

It got potential.... It would be better if u put a joystick and we can scroll the screen as moving Bytouch is not very helpful and also strain our head. It would be better if we can customized in the first starting freely... I look forward to the next update👍🏻

This is a great game that is just like Animal Crossing! However, it needs some form of a cloud save. Either let us link it to Google or Facebook, or even come up with your own cloud save feature with an email/account. I would love to move the game off my phone and onto my tablet but there is no way to do that...

It's a pretty great game, but there are some problems like the game freezing up whenever you enter the bank and characters spinning around in circles for no reason. Other than that I really want to like this game. On the upside, the graphics are nice and the characters are pretty neat.

I don't usually write reviews but i am writing this. I played for about 4 mins and i already don't like it. I love that it is very similar to animal crossing but the controls are horrible. I am not a big fan of this game's graphics too. So i wouldn't really recommend this. Sorry if i am being rude but this is the truth. I gave this 3 stars because it is similar to animal crossing but there is nothing else special in it.

It would be nice if you added an up,down,left,right control for better navigation. My character just stays in its place spinning around. Please fix it. The game is nice tho~

This game was so great and beautiful but there's a lot of thing the creator need to fix like when you at the beach side the just roll and roll idk why that's happened and sometime it's got stuck when some of the villagers was giving you a item when you their quest, I wish you will repair those things because this game was so great

Fantastic value! I used to love Animal Crossing and now I get to play it on my phone for free. If you like it you can pay $7.99 USD plus tax for permanent "VIP access" which is a lot cheaper than the original Animal Crossing. Connect it with a Facebook account to port it to a new device when you upgrade to a new device. They added a stock market to invest money which I also enjoy.

A very fun game. It has a lot to do which is nice, but I dont recommend it if you have a small screen like mine. Controls seem difficult. It is much nicer and easier to play through Steam on PC

I Can't Believe It's Not Animal Crossing! It has the same gameplay as AC, and it's ironic that for a fan game this is the closest thing you'll ever get on a full Animal Crossing experience on smartphones, unlike Pocket Camp which plays nothing like its predecessor games.

I like the game don't get me wrong, but I don't like the controls and I wish you could change yourself and at some point it k couldn't accept the reward from the guys and it startee freezing then it crashed please fix it i love it to much but i already uninstalled it.

I had 12 "pearls", spent 5 "pearls" to complete Gustave's "unlock the Northern Arch" quest, had 7 "pearls" left, got 3 "pearls", and had 10 "pearls", tried to spend it to complete the quest of breaking 5 rocks for Francis, but then it showed the Northern Arch one again and an image of Viktoria. Basically, it glitched, took my 10 remaining "pearls" for *NOTHING*, and left Francis's quest there. Please resolve this issue. Also, please make all of the "catching animals" quests *skippable*.

Hard to control movement, graphic not good, bug couldnt move when stepping on the beach (just circling around), have to click on every finished task really annoying, map might be better if we could see while moving

Stolen Couch is a perfect name for a company that essentially stole the basis/premise of Animal Crossing. That being said, I still love this game. Crops take time to grow but you can still play while they do. Lots of quests, bug catching, and fishing to stay entertained for hours.

Reminds me of my Nintendo game Animal crossing except it's harder to catch bugs . Also if I have enough money or gems, I should be able to get the VIP stuff. Cute game other than that. Last thing, every time I go to the bank to put money into it, it stops working. Please fix it.
