The game is great , it's like Warcraft 3 on a 2d map. After the last update game crushes just as I'm about to win and the game is like it never happened. I then have to restart the game to be able to get in the queue. Very frustrating especially of it's happening for 50 matches straight. Reinstalling the game didn't help
It's a good game but there is excessive clicking / tapping on the screen. This forces the player to have to click through their promotions to really advance as you have to watch the movies to get bonuses. You click on something just to click on something else and the developers clearly built this into the game when they could have streamlined the process.
Initially the game was really good, but recently the network connectivity issues have forced me to give a poor rating. I frequently lose matches from disconnection or unstable network problems. I live in Singapore and mobile network is definitely not an issue for me, even in adventure mode I dc and can't return. In the first two weeks the game was smooth for me, but now it is close to unplayable, this is very disappointing as the game seemed promising enough to invest some time and money into it. But it seems like the network issues are here to stay despite contacting the admin team several times.
as the 3 stars imply, mediocre. it's got a few good pros. the graphics and gameplay is pretty decent. however, it then takes a turn. I don't believe the people I've played in 1v1s are real people as advertised. I've played about 10 matches .. won all 10 .. doing literally anything I wanted. I could have played with my eyes close. no way these are real people. the UI in battles also seems clunky and missplaced. the tool tips and descriptions in menus are horrible.
So the game has a cool concept. when you enter a battle you start with a castle that generates mana and a hero. You have to choose how to spent the mana to take your opponent's castle out. You can go for a longer game where you take over mana springs that boost your generation rate and camps that let you build more minions, or go for a more rush down approach where you select a unit and try to win early. Trying to balance your mana use and counter your opponents minions and strategy is what makes it fun. Then it falls into the same freaking issue every game has these days. Loot boxes and the grind. The minions you can play during a match can be leveled up outside of battle. In order to level them up you have to buy packs and if you get duplicates you can combine them to upgrade your minions. You can get packs by winning games, or get better ones by spending a ton of in game gold, and buying more gold with real money. So if you have two equally skilled players the one that spent money will have straight up stronger units that good strategy can't overcome. So a fun game that is ruined by a pay to win structure.
Great game but needs to tweaks. 1) Card donations take way too long for each tap. it's obvious each tap is talking to the server. it takes 10 seconds to donate 7 cards when it should take 2 seconds. 2) If the sound is disabled on the game it should be auto disabled for the ads as well. right now they go off the system volume or you can mute them mid-ad. 3) the chat filters curse words and you can't turn it off. it's also hyper-sensitive. it filtered "assumed". you should be able to turn it off.
Fun gameplay that is ruined by pay to win. Regularly paired against opponents with units that are twice the level of my own, the sheer statistical disadvantage is too much to overcome. Be prepared to invest extreme amounts of time and money to reach a level of competitive fairness with other players. I've hit champion rank several times, but pushing into high champion is impossible for me because opponents have max level units that completely crush me with no strategy, just raw stat advantage
Good fast paced RTS for mobile. No energy limiting your play time, so you can play as much or as little as you want. Multiple types of modes to keep you busy. Able to select your deck as the battle progresses, giving you added strategy, not forcing you to use a "Meta" deck. In app purchases are available but unnecessary to enjoy the game.
Its fun for awhile, but then you run into p2w players. Their cards are so strong even with perfect counters you will lose. This leads to many frustrating games where you often can't win even if you play perfect. The game also has several cheeses which aren't really fun and don't lead to fun gameplay. Overall, I would rather play Clash Royale because the balance is much better.
Not a bad game in mechanics and how it works. The problem is mainly after 650 ranked score if you have not spent a dime your cards will be extremely under leveled. It's like you should force yourself to stay at 600 by losing just to get silver 2 chests and grind them out until you have matched level cards. This pretty much means skill can't out compete levels. A level 2 hero will be able to rush a level 1 even with the help of your castle and will kill your hero. These same people will also have 3 to 4 level higher tier 1s and 2-3 level higher tier 2 and 3s making it impossible to win and you might as well surrender and move on. If you don't plan to spend any money on this game you can reach silver 1 by sheer luck of finding lower ranked players on the ladder, but expect to stay at about 700 ranked points. It's unfortunate that this is the game play even at mid rank, and to me is just another example of a pay wall in these games to get you to stay competitive. There is no skill in what i just desribed either, no balance between cards. It's simply bring your highest level troops and hope they are higher level then your opponents.
Sad to see this go, to me it had a perfect business model, $5-$10 actually gave you a significant value, but not a huge unfair advantage. I paid. It was well balanced, where strategy could still beat players with higher leveled troops. Gameplay was fun and original, VS matches were a good 2-8 mins long usually, perfect for mobile. Go figure, a game which ISN'T absurdly greedy, unfair, or boring dies off. Discouraging.
Probably one of, if not the best mobile games I've played to date. No pay to win walls, a lot of free stuff when you play a lot, and a extremely well thought out style of game that's unique. Think warcraft 3 in 5 minutes on a clash royale style of mapping. Has a very high skill floor as well due to being able to counter everything while not being stuck with a pre built deck
Pretty fun game. Would be better if you couldn't buy your way up the ranks, but unfortunately that's most mobile games now. Still pretty enjoyable if grindy. The roulette is consistently glitchy with either ads refusing to load or not getting reward after ads play making it much more time consuming and frustrating than it's would normally be.
Started out enjoying the concepts, but within 2 days I don't want to play any more because of the huge smurfing problem. Higher players have no reason/reward for staying in their player rank. I really can't see how you could justify having a first-time player, level 4, matched against a level 12. The game punishes you for getting better. Insanely out-of-balance. With a smaller player base, you need to develop better ways of balancing. Right now it's incredibly pay-to-win and not worth playing.
The 3v3 mode that is the staple point of this game is completely unbalanced without any type of intelligent matchmaking. In the end this game is reduced to a simple pay to win, who has the most rarest cards at the highest level. Strategy isnt really important as overwhelming opponents with cash supported armies will always, and easily, win. Good concept but these games are fundamentally flawed at their very foundation by charging cash for, essentially, trading card packs with absurd advantages
The starts good then all goes bad when you get to the second day. Roughly about 20 matches. The game will pit you against matches that you can't win. Why would one want play losing games to veterans when you just started playing the game? Shame it looks good just balance and lack of much content or more gameplay to compete with other games of the same genre.
I like the mechanics, dislike the balance. There are certain units that become cookie cutter strategies and force you to use a cookie cutter strategy in return. The problem is quests force you to use nonstandard units, which was fine with practice mode; then they introduced 3v3 with horrendous wait times, quests that wouldn't work in 3v3, Tier 3 quests which are difficult when your teammates lose before first castle upgrade, and now 3v3 is limited. Still no 1v1 practice mode...
fun game, you can play unlimited battles and do many missions/skirmish/campaigns, also gives you free gems all the time, the thing i dont like is when you go ranked battles, you always battle AI, when you go casual, i believe you again battle AI because its not possible that i encounter same names over and over gain(played the game few days) and all the time i encounter same names and every time they are same rank as me, and if thats not enough for you, they always have same tactic(same exact tactic and placement building, and same amount of troops deployed and so on..), its very fun game, and i recommend it to everyone, but the point that you are fighting AI over and over again is little boring because its not challenging and its always same tactic and same units, once you learn it, its easy to counter it and win literally in 1-2 minutes or sometimes even less...
This game is amazing at rewarding strategic play and is the best competitive mobile game I've played ! It builds upon StarCraft 2 and Clash, managing to give AI units depth ! It's ideal for learning RTS because it simplifies micromanagement and puts an accent on macro. On of the simplifications is game tick mana production, which gives it a fast-paced turn-based feel while keeping real time for units. PS : please consider releasing the game for forks or open source, good job PNIX, 감사합니다 !
Should be the #1 competitive game for mobile! Very balanced and not paid to play as far as I can tell. Nice ranking system, made it to bronze before I had to use gems to replenish keys. I would highly recommend this to anyone. My new mobile game to play. Very simple mechanics, but only strategy has been the deciding factor. I like the win streak bonus, other wise would have got bored. It's like you took the vest of all strategy games and finally made a true competitive strategy. Very nice yes!!!
Updated Review: Game has potential but the pay wall hits hard. Could literally spend 100s of dollars and wouldn't be max level. currently level 8 of 15 and the next level could take weeks to get to. I was able to get quite high up on the rankings without paying but now I cant compete. I am a player willing to spend 5 to 10 dollars on a game if it impacts progress, but it's another game built for most people to be f2p and then a top end of players that spend $1000s.
Awesome game. But unfortunately after a few games. I can't open the app as I'm stuck at 20%. It's stuck at "loading game config". And a pop up appears that says failed to load game data. Any chance to solve this problem? Edit: The game works again! 5/5!!
Been looking for an actual Real Time Strategy game for Android since about... well... honestly, now that I think about it, I've been looking for an RTS since the day Google anounced google play store was going to allow my phone to download games. I AM SERIOUS! There are so many other turds out there that claim a "true RTS" gameplay style, but fall short in every category. This game has it all. A plethora of units to build Multiple Heros, and you dont have to pay to be considered a winner.
It was good at first but now it is way to hard. The AI is not completely even with the players. On the quest , the AI has so many troops out and j can only get a few out at a time. U dont get enough money to make more where the ai just keeps on sending them at u. If this unbalanced game play does not get fixed then I will be deleting the app.
This game is amazing, it's easy to play and the gameplay is very beautiful, it's not pay to play. The only problem that i face is some bugs while deploying my troops, i hope you fix this issue, and please add more units and i hope units has there own skins
This game is so Amazing. I love it a lot! Wide card selection, no forced ads but you can watch them for rewards and good ones. beautiful clean and smooth setup easy to learn and play. Very fun and strategic I will be playing this game for a very long time.
Basically a clash royale with simple base building and economy. This is the best one I have seen so far, but it also has similar frustration based monetization where if you are good you are eventually matched against players with more powerful units. Its essentially play to lose, pay to win.
This game is awesome it's like warcraft 3 miniaturized. You have buildings, you can choose which units you are going to build into, and there is no rng related to what "card" comes up next. So there is some good positional tactics as well as strategy with unit counters. There is a hero unit and resource management. Very well made I hope people will play this and realize that most mobile games are screwing you out of your fun and time by putting next to no features in the gameplay.
This game is very underrated. At first it seems to be like a simple game with some simple concepts. It is, but damn does it get interesting. Being able to choose how you will fight is really cool. Either focusing on leveling up/defending. Or focus on attacking/and mana. Or switch it up. There wasnt many things wrong about the game. Just needed a bit of a fix is all
