Castro

After installing skit and finding it useful i have installed this but it appears to give contradicting infomation to skit cornerning internal memory. And after installations n of this one app. Skit insists that there are 2 more user app counted not 1. Not sure if it a device issue or the apps themselves

This app is by far the best app for looking at specs, well designed UI and everything else is perfect . I wish the devs add the material you designe as soon as possible.

It's great, more than great. It is lacking a compass though. There is a magnetometer with graphing and I managed to locate electric wires using it but there is no compass with displayed heading.

Excellent app for system information, sensors, diagnostics and troubleshooting. It tells you about all the hardware on your phone with full and detailed specs. The UI is very nice, simple yet elegant. Just one tiny issue. The name of the app tells you nothing. If you forget the name, you'll have to look through your entire list. I think it should be renamed Castro HW Info or at least Castro HW. Other than that, brilliant app!

Useful info but I'm unable to find the options mentioned in the 3rd play store image. Especially disappointing to find the advertised "broken pixel options"missing. Although Castro is interesting & provides tons of technical info on my Note 8, my storage space is limited, Castro (9.65MB total) can't be moved to an external SD, & now the update requires 529MB, so I am uninstalling for now. I would recommend at least trying it to see if it's for you; it does do most of what it claims to.

I really like this app.I orignally downloaded this app to check on battery health cause my phone overheated a lot, so thermal checks were necessary. But after the latest update of app, the thermal throttling tab seems to be broken, my phone visibly throttles and heats up, but the app shows 'Not under throttling'. Otherwise, it's a great app

Amazingly complete in its presentation, although it's not getting my camera resolutions right or at least similar to specs. It shows two cameras with higher than expected resolutions and one with lower than expected, all seemingly beyond a reasonable margin of error.

This app is amazing! Everything's butter smooth with every possible info. Thanks you making the dark theme free, although it could have been more pitch black instead of the now grey'ish black. Would love that :) ALSO Thanks you soo much for not putting ads on your app. It would have ruined the whole experience.

Awesome app! Rename required. I have too many apps on my phone for this to not be called something like 'System Information'. I renamed it on my launcher, but I had this on my last phone and ended up installing an app that did the same thing, but worse, thinking that this one wasn't installed.

Quite a few neat tools and stuff... but I found a discrepancy. I own the gs8+ and one of it's most advertised features is its fast charging capabilities. Your app is saying that it doesn't support fast charging. That's no reason to give this app a bad review but makes me wonder how much of the information it says is actually factual.

Shows all the information I want about my phone, and more. The paid features, I don't need them and could get that functionality from other apps that are actually focused on them, so I'm good with the free version.

The app is good but there seems to be a bug in the thermal section where it displays tz sensors. The temperatures seem to be incorrect as it says they are above 400 degrees and they certainly aren't.

Glad I didn't buy Premium version of this. New update is straight up Google Material Theme. The "old" version is great with Material Design Standard and delightful illustrations. Now it's just yet another bland white app unless I pay up which still wouldn't get rid of Google Material Theme.

Great app, but the benchmark info is wrong. For example, in the app it says that my smartphone has a 13:6 aspect ratio, when in reality it's 19.5:9, or that it doesn't support face recognition, which it does.

It says that my s8 does not support fast charging? What does this app consider fast charging? That aside, a really clean and well-designed app, easy to use but yet also containing lots of info.

I used to love this app and used the app daily to check battery discharge levels and more... However, there is a massive issue after the latest update. On daily, I used to check processor temperature stats, however after the most recent update, this has now been a 'premium' feature. Edit: Got a reply with a decent comment by the developer. Just wanted to say that you should have kept access to thermal zone temperatures since some people actually used it to check their CPU temp (It worked for me) EDIT 2: Wow, what a dedicated developer - Just saw the new update for the app with the all new thermal zones. Good luck in the future, 5 STAR RATING WELL DESERVED

This app does what it says. I only give 5 star reviews. So that means I very, very rarely give a review because you dont find 5 star apps often. But this one is. Great job developers.

Great app with a lot of features in the basic version itself. Only thing missing is the Third Cluster in latest CPUs like SD855 and 865. Some new tests will be cool though. Great app and responsive dev thanks! Edit: Thanks for the quick reply ik it's a lot to ask but simple ones like disk read and write speed, etc...

Great app to see information about your device in a nice UI. An exception in that was the System screen, it lagged a lot while scrolling, unlike the Codecs screen for example.

Probably the best app to keep an eye on your phone's temps and gather more knowledge about your phone the simple, minimal and straight forward design really makes this app a pleasure to use. In my opinion this app doesn't need any improvement its already perfect

Castro is the best app to see your device specs and taking low space, the interface is amazing and intuitive with customization. Personally i would want to see this platform for PC or a website, to know your pc specs. Castro premium is cheap for what they add to the app, to see gpu performance etc.

I learned that my device doesn't even support fast charge. I didn't know that was an option.. Good app, much more informative than comparable ones.

Good app but after a recent update, the CPU temperature has been removed. Is there any chance of that returning? It is important for me to check CPU temps as the weather in my country is hot most of the year.

camera resolution is showing as 12MP and 5MP instead of 48MP and 20MP. But other apps are showing it correctly. An addition of Screen Sample Rate option should be great.

One of the best for knowing what's inside your device. The UI is really pleasing to navigate through and it's very user friendly.
