This app is not user friendly. Will not submit. Failure to keep notes in proper place when navigating to next subject. Camera use was 100 times better on version back in 2017. It had the ability to focus on a dark subject and move to lighten a dark subject. If there was another app I would use it. This is my job and this app is often agitating.
App works better with android phone, even though my dealer provides iphone. I use app to load inspections into the cloud to be available to my dealership everywhere. It is a game changer for service reporting. Very useful. I can take photos of machine and load the report later (at home! 🤣)
App fails to sync, fails to send emails of the inspections, glitches and loose the entire inspection and have to start all over again. The crapy part is that I have to use this app to do my job.
very poorly done....nothing but issues with this app. do not like using this but unfortunately we must use it at work to receive in customer machines for service.
App freezes, crashes, doesn't work right and my company has used this app for years now and it never gets better
Nothing but problems with this app lately. I've used the app going on a year. It has worked flawlessly with my job and now all of the sudden nothing but issues with inspections not loading inspections being completed but not showing up in the web portal. It's really frustrating because I use this app all day long in my current job role.
I am happy to update but when it comes to submitting the inspecte file, some times it is unable to upload faster. I think it's about the location and the Network I am dealing with. But overall, The App is working well and Happy about it when it is available for updates. Thanks to Cat• Team. Philemon Tonny HD-LAE BC _P.N.G
Very optimum functionality comparing to earlier version, But searching through prefix not helping you have search by family, need to populate all prefix for all models.
Nice apps, its very help us to do task job such as daily inspection, PM, ect. And customer very happy because report can submited in same day. Suggestion : Need added recomendation page that Hypperlink to the SIS. So the report is complete with recommendation part list. J210EP8
More and more improvement. It would be great if it can edit photo or choosing photo from SD card. I hope it can read album infor from my gallery
Great tool for standard TA1 inspections on the go. take photos and upload them later to save time. Cat Specialist.
When taking a photo on the application its taken as if its already zoomed in and you can not zoom out. Phone is a A30 samsung.
No response when it retrieve forms from server. Also report can not be submitted after completion. From Jan 2021 we are facing this issue.
Previous version was best. Unable to fill all fields
in part list please add a table sheet in report that we can add more parts with part no.,description, qty and group no and name detail in one step.
Extremely unreliable! Buggy as hell... SOS on the App is a nightmare!
better yet it can be integrated with sis cat and HID to directly create a backlog of findings.
i am not able to take photos from mobile & also upload photos from my phone memory while using cat inspect 4.0
QR code reader doesn't work and the CAT bar code works sometimes needs to be fixed

If you are in an area with no reception and you do multiple inspections to load on a later date, you cannot adjust the date of inspection and they will al pull through as if done on the same day.

There's a bug where photo of an inspection section carried into the next inspection section, this happen when the photo filled with description comment
This app is horrendous, I have been trying to use it for 6 months, I have made calls to Cat themselves, with no resolution. You log in, says loading fleet then kicks you all the way back to the app store to open again. Only to repeat and then says app has stopped. I have tried this on 2 different devices only to have the same thing happen. Our company's ask us to use this technology, so you would think it would be dependable, but it's out right undependable. Just saying. Please fix it.
