Cat Playground - Game for cats

Cat Playground is a game for cats, not humans. Let your furry friend chase a mouse, fish, or a laser pointer, and earn points for everytime he catches it. Be warned tough, it may cause cat addiction.
This cat toy will work on pretty much any Android phone with a touchscreen, tough it will work best with tablets and phones with a large display since it will make it easier for your cat.

FAQ:

Q
- What the hell is a game for cats, this is a joke app right ?A
- Absolutely not! Cats are natural hunters, and they will chase pretty much anything that moves. Just wave a string in front of them and they will chase it. The "problem" with normal toys is that it requires human intervention or the cat will soon be bored of something that doesn't move. With Cat Playground you can keep your feline friend entertained for much longer, even when you don't have time to play with him. Human supervision is still advised during play.

Q
- My cat doesn't seem interested or just plainly ignores the app. A
- Just like people every cat has it's own personality. Some like to play more than others, or maybe your cat is simply not in the mood right now. Try showing them the app later, preferably when they are in a playful mood.

Q
- Can my cat claws scratch my phone/tablet ?A
- In theory yes, tough it's extremely unlikely. Phone screens are made to endure harsh punishment, and most of the screens found on phones are made from glass wich is several times harder than a cat's claws. We've had a kitten playing on a Samsung Galaxy Mini phone wich has a screen made from plastic, and the screen doesn't have a single scratch on it.

Q
- Is there anything i should keep in mind while my cat is using the app ?A
- Yes, human supervision is highly advised. Some cats can get pretty excited while playing Cat Playground and may try to bite or flip the phone. It's preferable to put the phone on the ground instead of a couch or table to prevent fall damage.

Good but needs more customization. Would like an x on the menu screen to close. The button to go to menu needs to be more than 1/2 the size. You should be able to tell it only one wack a mole at a time and more than one shark. Speed settings for all of them. Make it over ride tablet time out. I have one cat that just likes to watch it like a tv.

My cat loves this game. I find it annoying since she keeps ending up back at the main screen. You should make it more difficult for someone to return to the main menu than a rapid double tap. To catch those mice my cat taps the glass.

Refunded the app. This isn't realistic enough for my cat. It's too cartoony. The mouse on cheese one is closest to the other games she likes, but it zooms across the screen too fast to get her attention.

Good Series of Games For Cats! The Back Button is Very Agrivating. I wish there was an option to remove it from the screen. Be nice to have the ability to assign the back by using a screen exit pattern such as touch all 4 courners in a specific pattern 4 times?

My cat loves this game, specifically she greatly enjoys the catch the mouse on cheese version of this game. She plays it for long stretches of time and seems to find it very satisfying.

Great visual entertainment for your cat(s) that delights their inner need to wack things. It's fun watching them have fun. Be a good cat mommy or daddy and give your kitty the environmental stimulation it needs.😉

My cats LOVE this. They request it, meowing and pawing the tablet every night. They beat each others high scores. They play it together. Got a lot of hours out of this so far

I've never seen a cat that doesn't love this game.

Why is the back button so big on the games?

Cats love it!

Thank you. My 10 month old kitten Sparta loves this game. All I have to do is turn it on and the second she hears the music she comes running. Watching her reach behind the tablet to try to cheat and get the mouse is too funny. My 2 year old cat Tinkerbell isn't fooled and loses interest in the games quickly.

Note 4: The other games were ok for my cats, the laser game also did better than the others. I'm sure other cats might enjoy the other games, not all cats are the same. No adds, worth the money. Exited once in about 10-15 mins of play, was the multiple apps/menu button on NOTE 4. No permissions needed is a plus too.

I think I've installed every cat game possible and this one is by far my cat's absolute favorite. He will play with the mouse one for hours and hours. I did have to install a program called full!screen so he can't even access the soft menus (works amazingly well) and yet he still manages to sometimes his the side power button or the one physical home button on my Nook HD+.

I originally purchased on my phone and the cats didn't really care but they are obsessed with the game on the tablet! They hear the music and come running! Both cats play with toys not hands. My Ralphy recently pawed at my phone and tablet hoping to turn them on so he could play! Fragile Ralphy! Fragile! He thinks they're his!

Arthur absolutely adores our pad now. He can play for hours, and this is perfect for when he is being annoying and needs to use up some energy. However, he keeps pressing the home and back-buttons, and still looking for the mouse, he starts pressing all sorts of stuff. Add a screen lock of some sort, and the game is perfect!

I bought this for Kari, our 15 year old Burmese. She's not into playing much these days, and she's very deaf but the Mouse game really got her attention and she was looking under the tablet to try to get to it.

Two Paws Up! I wouldn't let Mommy play with her nice Nexus tablet. I clawed and ate at the case, too. And I erased apps off the home screen, and caused other mischief in my excitement, too. So Mom bought me a cheap tablet of my own and got me my own Google account, so I couldn't mess with her Play Store apps anymore. I knocked that tablet off the bed so many times it broke. So Mom just bought me a new $39 RCA from Wally World! And Cat Playground is still around! Am I a lucky kitty or what? MEOW! Now if the lovely developers would make it so I can't hit the back, home, and recent icons......

Kitten loves it, really loved the mouse. So much so that every time she sees my phone she states at it and sniffs, and bats at it, probably hoping the mouse will show up. UPDATE Screen mirroring to my Sony Bravia TV, my cat went bezerk! hilarious!

Please remove the vibration when she taps the laser pointer :D. It scares her a bit hehe

Keeps wee Hamlet occupied for hours. If there was a means of locking out the home, back and recent apps buttons this would be perfect

My cat is mesmerized by the sharks. This app is his favorite. The vibration and sounds are great. This apps a keeper.

Reb. S. Jul 30, 2016

I'd keep the sound off but my cat loves this, especially the mouse.

Jud. R. Feb 9, 2013

She never gets bored with it. I have as much fun watching her as she does playing the game.

I bought this today, after 10 minutes of watching my cat started killing the red dot. He loves it!

My cats are curious about it but don't really play with it.

When my cats are in a playful mood they love it. I found kittens enjoy the games even more. The home screen graphics could be updated but otherwise the simple graphics work well with cats.
