Have everyone sit in a circle. Every second person is on the same team.The goal of the game is to get your teammate to guess the word without using -

- Any Rhyming Words
If your team guesses the word correctly pass the device to the person on your right (which is of the other team).
Tap on the screen to get the next wordContinue passing the device until the timer runs out.The team holding the device when the buzzer beeps looses.

Game is Fun. Kids like it when we played. But after several updates, it crashed after one match. Plz fix this issue.
The basic free version of the game is OK, but it does not include team play which is an integral part of the game for me. Hitting Play seems to be a mix of all decks, or you can choose one of the few available for free. Entering your own words doesn't seem to work unless you're only selecting your custom deck. I also think it's much too easy to accidentally press your screen while passing or holding the phone, thus changing the word prematurely. Should make a button to go to the next word.
It was a fun and exciting game but now it keeps on crashing. Not just on my phone but also on my friend's phone.
I used to have this game and enjoyed it. Had a few suggestions, and you can see those suggestions in my edit history. However, now the app requires the permission to make and manage phone calls for some reason. According to the developer, it's for Google Analytics, but the permission is only kind of required to access the device identifier. Granting the permission shouldn't be required, but it also shouldn't be requested. There are much less intrusive ways to collect analytics.

These reviews about not knowing how to play make me sad for the state of the world. It's actually exactly what catch phrase had always been. If you don't know how to play, hit the dang question mark and read for 15 seconds. If you're looking for catch phrase this is it, and it's free. Words seen decent and there's are plenty of them thus far.
This game is pure entertainment which can be played along with family and friends during pastime. The pro version comes with more amazing options which makes it more entertaining. It also fuels your competitive skills while building a strong vocabulary. Play in teams to get the most out of these games.
Seems like the timer is always the same length, it doesn't vary. My gf and I like to play just the 2 of us, but the same person almost always wins depending on who starts, because the timer is always the same.

For those who don't get the game and for those who don't understand why some of us don't get the game,,,,in the uk we have tv game show called catchphrase an this game is nothing like it,,,,so it's a 2 or more player game and you have to get them to guess the words before the time runs out, it's like charades!

really fun game for families and parties! adding your own words are awesome, but you should be able to make your own decks too. like separate your made words into categories for different friend groups! if I could do that I would DEFINITELY buy!!
Catch Phrase is really awesome app for catching the phrases its really helped me to impove my skills and also help me to correct my mistake, really helpful also recommend to my friends.

This is an absolutely wonderful game. It's the perfect way to spend a great time with family and friends. Especially now when all of us are at home, this has been a great way to bond with my family and never get bored. Its a completely different experience each time we play the game.
Amazing Game 😍. Had so much fun playing it. I am so glad I found this game. In this current situation this app really helped me my friends and my family to pass the time. I love the fact that it can also be played like a drinking game . And the other apps by the same publisher are also really nice. I will definitely recommend this app to everyone.
I love to play the original Catchphrase game and tho I haven't had a chance to play this yet...for the person who posted these are just words, that is what catchphrase is. If you have ever played this awesome game, it is not supposed to have pictures. The developers did this correctly. Just sayin...
I've been playing catch phrase since I had a spinner disc and a timer that people hit so hard they broke it. Multiple times. A must have for game night.
Annoying. Pops up during the middle of the night & wakes you up. Uninstalled & would not recommend.
Game works sorta okay. Buying decks doesn't remove ads and seems to have small selection of cards in the purchased deck Would not recommend paying for anything here.
I literally love this game , especially in this lockdown period it really helps me get over the boredom . Interesting game to play with family and siblings :)
Good application, it is really funny. Enjoyable.This game is actually pretty cool!! It works well and is a lot of fun!!! You can play with your partner or in a party and have a blast!!!
Love this app. I am a church youth group leader so, being able to make my own deck of words is a great way to review what we've learned while having fun.
Game can be an ice breaker for a gathering. Or just a really fun game with family and friends. Lots of laughs, its really fun!

Hard to be confident in the game code when the screenshot has what should be"loses" spelled "looses"... Not much attention to detail...
absolutely terrible you don't even get to play the game it's just words then you press on the screen and it tells you it's just pointless anyone who rates this more than 0 stars is a absolutely physcho I rated it 1 star because that's the lowest you can go you can't rate it 0 stars
Update : Thank you for responding!!! We love this game! Requires phone permission?? Why in the world does Catch Phrase need to make and receive phone calls?! Hard NO from me. Too bad, because we used to love this game.
