Catchphrase rules & How to play it
Have everyone sit in a circle. Every second person is on the same team.
The goal of the game is to get your teammate to guess the word without using
-- The word or any part of it
-- Any Rhyming Words
If your team guesses the word correctly pass the device to the person on your right (which is of the other team).
Tap on the screen to get the next word
Continue passing the device until the timer runs out.
The team holding the device when the buzzer beeps looses.
The words could be anything ranging from movie titles, song titles, objects to professions and action.
There are different variation in which you can play this game
Catchphrase is an introduction to the world of drinking games like beer bong , flip cup ,would you rather, who am i etc.
As a drinking game Catchphrase can be played in the following way
-- Make teams of two and stand across your partner
-- The basic rules of the game applies
-- The team that looses now have to drink beer or do shots
As charades
-- The basic rules of the game applies
-- Instead of saying out clues try to act them out

You got the important parts right. I just have a couple of bellyaches: - Why can't I use more than one deck at once? I only made 2 custom entries and I don't want to make many more :( - Can you please put a way to change the background and text colors in the settings? Thanks for putting this together!
App is fun, but recently it won't start - it just crashes on start-up. I've tried reinstalling, restarting the device, etc. No luck. Very disappointing for a paid app. Update - after they replied saying it had been updated, I reinstalled it again, and it is now working.
Just like the pass-and-play electronic version of the game. There aren't many frills or elements unique to the digital version, but with adjustable text size and round length, this should be a fun game for the whole family.
Good game but needs one major fix to make it great. It's too easy to advance the word when passing the phone. Instead of pressing the screen to advance to the next word, put an actual "NEXT" button on the screen.
Great catchphrase game. The UI looks nice and there's a couple of decks to choose from. The time can also be changed as well as the text size. Overall everything I'd expect.
Great game! Really fun easy to learn casual game to play with friends or family. If i could throw one suggestion in there would be to allow multiples of "my deck" so you can do a few catagories of your choosing.
Great app! The UI is seamless and easy to use. Had hours of fun with family during a power outage. Would love to see the ability to create more than one deck of your own. I'd love to make my own Star Wars deck or a DC Comics deck for my youngest son.
It's fine but had words repeat in a single game which should really never happen. Also had some odd crashes. Otherwise it works similarly to the physical game if you've forgotten the physical game
Decent version of the game, but you can't stop a round in team mode, nor can you give an extra point when the other team guesses the answer after the buzzer.
Simple and fun rendition of what's essentially charades. Does it well and clean. My only issue is the American themed words such as "Cincinnati Reds". Would be nice if there was a way to disable words.
Really great game. It would be nice if you could do a mix of all categories. I love that you get to make your own words. Could be slightly precarious with passing a phone around the room.
I love having this with me all the time! The only thing I'd ask for as an improvement would be for us to be able to play with multiple decks at a time. Crossing my fingers we get that in an upcoming update. 😁👍
Here from Reddit! Starting to play it. The graphics are minimal, yet they look nice. Well rounded overall, and I like the idea!
This is a great game and I had given it 5 stars, but I came back and knocked a star off because it kept interrupting me to ask me to rate it. Update (2 Feb 2020) It asked me to rate it again so I took off another star. Still a very fun game though; I would highly recommend buying the pro version.
App is fun. The November 24th update broke it but I emailed the developers and they fixed it within 1 day. Its super fun to play with the family and watch how people try and describe the word without saying it.
Very lightweight and snappy. The option to resize the text is great. Had a lot of fun with the family. Highly recommended.

Fine, but upgrade not worth it. There's so limited words, it's sad. In the world of the internet, you'd expect more phrases and categories. Upgrading changed nothing really.
This was a fun, interactive, up to date and family friendly game that is appropriate for all ages. Great purchase!
no frills version of the word guessing game. please change the timer to be random (normal maybe?) around the preselected (mean)!
Very limited choice of decks and we run through all the options quite fast.
Would be a great game if it didn't constantly ask you to rate it ALL THE TIME. #firstworldproblems

Terrible doesn't work. Spent 9 dollars and the game won't open with out crashing don't waste your time
Great and funny game wouldn't pay for it again though. The free version is almost the same

This is great. There were decks I get to choose from. GREAT GAME! I would totally recommend it to my friends.

The game desperately needs there to be an option to change the timer sound. It's too abrasive, unlike the ticking of the real electronic game, and it has terrible background noise like someone recorded it with a microphone. Additionally, at the moment, you advance to the next work by simply tapping on the screen. Making this an onscreen button, or at least the option to, would be ideal. It's really difficult to pass the phone around the room without accidentally advancing it a bunch.
