Very easy to read because of big letters. Verse by verse appears while scrolling down. I can keep my favourite verse reserved and open easily when I want to refer those. There us an icon to get highlighted and favourit lists seperately. Very useful bible. May God give the wisdom to the people who develop these to produce more user friendly apps for the Glory of God.

I love having this on my phone and be able to read it any time I choose. The application is very easy to use. I like the setup on this one better than the one I have on my laptop. You can't beat the fact that it's free. In truth the ads at the bottom don't bother me much. I'm used to this from other free applications I own. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have access to the bible anywhere at any time.

How is it that in the NRSV Catholic bible that Psalm 119 is the longest Psalm, even in my Protestant bible its still the longest. But you ignorant techs have Psalm 118 listed as the longest. WRONG! Even the YouVersion Bible App is correct AND it has all the books of the bible that the protestants took out. I'll be uninstalling your app until this is corrected.

I cannot help but laugh when I see all the complaints for numbering and missing verse endings, etc. Anyone can easily investigate and see that this follows Jerome's Vulgate which was the anchor version of the Church, way before Queen Mary, who was a zealous catholic, ever gave birth to the future King James. The KJV follows the Hebrew changes of the late first millenia. Many parts of the KJV were taken word for word from the Douay Rheims Catholic bible, although the numbering was changed..JS

This is a good application, some issues will be that verses in chapters are not ordered sometimes and some chapters as well may not be correct, other than that I love the interface and like reading from a version that I can relate to. Some examples of the issues: In a chapter after verses 1,2,3 will find 5 instead of 4 which you will find at the end of the chapter and some psalms are not the correct chapters.

There are a lot of verses missing, especially with the creation story in Genesis but I really like the note taking and highlight option. It creates a great opportunity to really meditate on some verses and come back to them : )

I thought this would have been a great app installed to use at bible study only to find that some books are misplaced, scriptures and passages are wrong. This should be corrected of you want this to work. The layout is great and easy to use but so much more is. So for those reasons, I'm uninstalling this app. I found another is on point.

During a commute or in the middle of the night I can easily acquire the spiritual nourishment we so badly need.Seems there's a few bugs though;it seems to say it has stopped working, only for you to seem to be able to continue working and finally whenever my phone's screen locks/goes dark,I find I've been taken back to the first verse of the chapter I was reading which is irritating. Genesis 43: verse 2 is at the end of the chapter(after chapter 30). Correct these and I will give it 5 stars.

Why must you mock the Roman Catholic Church at every slightest chance... Come to think of it, who even compiled the Bible you Pentecostals use today " was it not the catholic church".. Lemme tell you, the much you see of Christianity today was preserved by the same catholic church.. So when next you want to mock the roman catholic church remember you owe them for preserving the faith ( long before the Pentecostal movement).. May the peace of the Lord be with you all, through Christ our Lord. Amen

Been using this for a while n occasional missing verses. Also some chapters are misnumbered I think. I just came across one so decided to write this review. Look at a hard copy bible at Psalms 73 n compare that to Psalms 73 in this app. It's different. I think the numbering is wrong.

Excellent look, layout, and options. There is one thing I think that is missing, a bookmark. There should be an option on the page that you are reading to bookmark. When you start the app up again, you should be able to go to your bookmark, read some more, then bookmark again. Again, fantastic app, and thank you so very much. It is helping to make this rereading of the Good Book easy and enjoyable! May the Love and Peace of our Lord be with you always.

Psalm 9 & 10 is merged and All the following psalms have been preponed by one number until psalm 146/147 psalm 147 appears out of blue from NOwhere because I cannot see it in any versions of bibles that I have including Catholic bible, even the intro in every psalm is numbered as a verse. if this can be explained then most of the confusions out here can be resolved. The stars are for the confusion. Because The GOD's word will always should be given a *******(7) GOD BLESS YOU.

This app is marvelous, it uses a simpler understandable English compared to some bible app I have ever downloaded(do not update to that language-thou didst thee thine) though one problem is that there are some chapters that do not have the chronoligical order of verses thus distorting the message portrayed and somewhat annoying, I would love if you fixed that issue. Anyway May God bless you for what you are doing

Informative. This Bible has familiar details I have learned from Catholic education and what I learned in my Spiritual journey. I would suggest this literature to those wanting to learn about the Word and history of Jesus' influence teaching an understanding of God, and the world connected to the Son of Man, the Apostles, and their effect upon existence.

Why are there entirely misplaced verses e.g. Hebrews 6:12 and Hebrews 12:6, etc. One would think they were missing. That's why you get a three star rating; fix that and you get a 4, then add a 'verse text' search and get a 5...😊

Psalms 139:15-21 is missing from the bible and May be more verses don't exist. I can't seem to get special verses highlighted...there's no option for that hence, the highlighted list is empty. How can I ha access to special bots on selected chapters..the bookmark keeps the entire chapter. Overall it's a good app. Easy to use and understand.

I don't use this app unless I forget my Bible and today was the day. Because I am not familiar with it I make many errors. I appreciate and value the fact that my Bible is available when I am in need.

Because of this application I have been allowed to read the bible conveniently. It is my first time really diving into the bible. I am enjoying learning the word! The features are pretty good. You can highlight verses and save favorite verses. There are only two things that I would change if the opportunity arises. First I would take away the ad at the bottom of the screen. It can distract you from truly focusing and reflectimg on the word. Second I would add an in app dictionary feature. That way readers may look up words they may not know. Thus allowing them to fully understand what is being taught in each verse without having to use another application to look up a word meaning. Other than that I love this application! I am grateful to have downloaded it into my phone.

This is very useful especially I cannot always have the paper version of the Bible with me. Keep up the good work. 😺

This Bible app is much easier on the eye then others with it's pleasant layout. This is only my 2nd night reading in it, and I have a big problem already. It does 't open back up where I left off the night before. I have to hunt down my spot. Really? Please tell me it's a glitch you can fix. Otherwise, I'll have to seek out another Bible app containing the deuterocanonical text because it's just silly to have to find my place every night.

Thanks for your great work and for making it free. I like the interface. I would only want to suggest to add bookmark. If i close the app then reopen, i hope it wont go to the start of the chapter again. :) other than that, everything is perfect.

I now have the bible with me and don't risk offending anyone. This allows for very easy looking up specific passages. Love it so far no complaints at all. I would like to see doctrinal or contextual explanations for passages. Even catechism references would be nice.

Aar. C. Jul 26, 2016

When I tilt the screen and it auto-turns to horizontal view, and then turn back- it resets my scroll spot to the top of the chapter I'm reading. I suppose I could turn off autorotate, but it would be nice if the app kept my spot. Other than that the app is wonderful.

ike. m. Aug 15, 2017

It's nice, though unlike NIV, one has to start from the first chapter and verse all over if one's phone blinks. U should try to make it possible that, one can start from the chapter and verse stopped. U did a good job anyway, it seems the Psalms are not also corresponding. Thanks

It's okay for what it is, I was looking for a different translation, but it's relatively close to the spirit of the translation that our Catholic church missal uses. One major problem is that the Psalms are completely messed up. If you look up the 23rd Psalm, for instance, a total different chapter comes up.

Though I like the app so much, very simple and easy to use, I noticed that the verses are incomplete. And another thing, is it just me or some verses in the app are wrong. Like they mixed up or something. This is my first time reading a bible this seriously and whole heartedly so please have an update. This is really important to me.

Abe. v. d. W. Feb 22, 2016

Just one piece of constructive criticism. When I re-open the app it does not open where I stopped reading. Your developers could easily fix this. Thanks.
