Catholic Bible Free

Beautifully done! Easy to navigate, easy to read. The language is very easy to understand. No annoying adverts! Not alot of Bible apps have these qualities. I might miss the highlighting aspect but the fun of flipping pages more than makes up for that. And the book marking is very easy to do. You can navigate back and forth between the script and the bookmarks by just a click. This is the best Bible app version I have come across so far. Am in love with it.

Be careful! This is not even remotely a translation if the Bible, Catholic or otherwise. Woven within, it is teaching things opposite to the Bible. I just downloaded it and within minutes it was obvious that what I was reading was not the Bible. I have even checked various different sections to see if it was simply an error in one chapter. It is throughout this app. Look at well-known verses, such as Psalm 23 or the first part of Genesis. Steer clear.

Chapters in each book can be put side by side so as to accommodate more chapters at one glance than the current method of scrolling vertically down. Moreover, a common heading as Chapters with just the chronological order mentioned should be fine, enabling more chapters to be included in a single screen/glance. Otherwise, feels great. Thanks.

It has all the old testment books in the bible and the language is very easy to follow. I like the outlet and it opens exactly where you end it. You can change to night mode whenever you want it. I like this app because it opens offline. I especially thank the developer for this app making it free.

I want to bring to notice that Psalms 35 and Psalms 51 are not correct. Please update the right text to the pages. Otherwise it's a great Bible app. I really like the feel and look of the pages and the font. It's easy to use also.

App is beautiful easy to use. But I was looking for a bible that would read to me in the car and that l could read other times. This came up- but I can't figure out how the reading part works. I can only read so for me it dose 1/2 the job.

The content is superb, the colours are good leading to very friendly leadership. One thing , the presentation of each chapter and their verses could be made to appear on a page. This way: page 1 = all the chapters of the Old testament appear Page 2 = all the chapters of the new testament appear. Then click to open and read Thank you Blasius Ngome

I like this app, how you flip the pages like a book. Faux finish background is easier on eyes than plain white. I think the cpdv and original douay rheims are very good translations. Don't use kjv much anymore

I am not sure about the accuracy of this app. Psalms 136 verse 1 starts with, "O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast loves endures forever." Your app starts with, "A psalm of David to Jeremiah..." Several passages in Acts need verification. I use a book version of the NRSV Bible as well which is accurate.

Wonderful app! I'm on a schedule through The Coming Home network to read through the Bible and the Catechism each year. As a relatively new convert from Protestantism, I'm loving the books that have been removed from Protestant Bibles. This app makes it so easy to read when I'm away from home.

Provides a great way to read the Bible on a regular basis. I like that it automatically picks up where you leave off, but also has a handy bookmark option available. Nice app!

This apps is great...its version is very close to the original one that i have. Translation is so clear to understand..the deuterocanonical books is one of my basis to choose a complete version of the bible. Index is nice, looks like the actual one. No annoying ads. Thanks a lot!

This is the best Catholic Bible. I love that it takes you back to where you left off reading. Fully configurable for font size and readability. No adds!

I switched to this Bible app after the one I previously used kept crashing. I am enjoying using it. My only recommendation is to be able to mark the page with a drop- down bookmark instead of the current option.

Very appealing page colour that makes it easy to read with less eye strain. Love the page turning feature of it. It's also the kind of Book that once you start reading it, you want to keep on reading to learn more!📖

So far I like the look and set up. If any noisy adds pop up, I will uninstall. Quiet adds are one thing, but any noise, no. Wish I could choose to get to a verse faster than flipping through the chapter.

Easy to read, font size adjustable, meets my requirements for my daily study, I'm enjoying reading it too. But book mark a bit confusing, also wished if it could highlight the current chapter... so it will be easy to start from where I stopped.

This version is very close to the Catholic Good News bible version. It's very easy to read and digest. Other Good News Bible are the protestant versions. Some new features like allowing for highlights in color would be good.

It's impossible not to remember where you were when you stopped reading previously. When you open it again, it is in the exact same place, I love it! It's verses are clearly marked, I love the page turning format, keep it up guys!

I just downloaded this app and when I opened it, I already like its feature because it really seems like a real Bible. It's clear and really readable. You can also easily find the book, its chapter and verses you wanted to read. Thank God that He guided you to make such wonderful application. God bless you. I now uninstall the other application that I had.

The colour pattern is easy on the eyes; less straining. No ads and very straight forward; no unnecessary filler. A dictionary would be nice, but not necessary.

I love the rusty, vintage papyrus feel as an excellent way to present an ancient, articulated precious jewel. Would have been too good but worth considering to have an audio read by someone with pristine voice and that will make the Bible so much attractive and befitting. I love it though and may God continue to guide the hard working staff behind the scenes.

Easy to read and understand.The dictions used is easy enough for a layman to understand. I like the way the pages flick open. Keep up the good work.

A smart, easy to use, soft touch, colorful with flip pages makes this application superior to many others. As a Catholic, the only thing I lack here is a pack of the Deutero-cannonical books which are very useful to my faith.

It was great for the most part, until I got to the Psalms... Now I question everything else in this bible app. For instance Psalm 119 in a Catholic bible should have 176 verses, when on this app it is 13 verses. So if there's missing verses in some parts of Psalms, then there are missing verses in other parts of the bible. So I am deleting this app.

Works well. It always remembers the page I was on which is a huge deal. Even if the app is closed or I restart my phone, it remembers. Interesting layout with the "page turning" as well.

Beautiful inspirational book easy to read and understand. Every chapter let's you have an understanding of what you are about to read. That makes reading more encouraging and fun when reading this holy book. Than for this fine book that is well put together to enjoy while studying the word of God.🙏

The app is beautiful, but it would have been more beautiful if one can copy a text or verse one finds interesting.

I love this app. It works offline and it is interactive like a real bible. I love this particular translation. Thank you for creating this treasure.

Excellent layout but some of the "new" translation grated somewhat.. e.g. Genesis 1:2 ".... and so the Spirit of God was brought over the waters" sounds like the Spirit of God is subject to the control of God..? Maybe i am wrong but that appears to clash with the Catholic doctrine of the Trinity, a Triune God being 3 distinct but equal persons, in the one God..?
