Catholic Bible w Audio

Awesome. Bookmarks work fine, if I close and re-open after some time or days, it starts from my last read. Different fonts and clear background is great. Dark mode is very good. Especially when reading at night or dark lighting. Has ads that are good. They appear at the bottom without covering what I want to read. I am a presbyterian who also enjoys reading the additional books. The tales, proverbs and advice is good. Lastly it works fine offline. I love it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Good and nice, most especially the audio with continuous play through chapters and books... But I'll like you to improve on the audio by upgrading it to keep playing continously even when the phone sleeps. Whenever the phone sleeps, after some seconds, it'll stop playing. Well done for the good job. Please alert when the update of continuous play is activated even when phone sleeps.

Very nice! I was initially off-put by the computer voice, but eventually I realized this allowed the entire Bible to be read OFFLINE! :) No worries about downloading each book; it saves a ton of memory this way, and it just keeps on reading, even into the next book--handy whilst driving or working.

I actually really like this app but I'm giving it 3 stars primarily because it leaves out verses in various books of the Bible. For example, it does not contain verse 24 in psalm 73. I've noticed others also. I don't understand why any verses of the bible would be left out. This bothers me enough to reduce my ratings. Otherwise I'd give it 4.5 stars. Please rectify this matter. Thank you.

Great app , let's you read the Bible with ease, but there's still a bit of problem, the book of Psalm is very incorrect please work on it especially from Psalm 2 -150 are all incorrect, I'd advice that any one that wants to read scripture should buy a real Bible, or download reviced standard version Catholic edition.

The audio go through all the verses and that is very interesting. The audio is also very simple to understand but a little bit robotic.

The note feature is really good as it does not limit characters. Highlighting is limited to one verse at a time, but that is workable. Just wish you could highlight words as opposed to the whole verse. Other than that, so far so good.

Thank you soo much for this app, if your looking for an audio offline Bible this is the best app. To top it off, she continues reading until you choose to stop it. It's not like after one chapter it stops and you have to click the next chapter and start audio again, nope, it's continuous...totally worth 5 stars😘

Great convenient reading aid. Even reads aloud for you. It allows you to make notes and bookmarks. Only minor downfall is the sound of the robotic reading voice. It'd be nice if it was a little more "soothing".

Very easy to read version. I love the built in reading plan and ability to highlight or underline. The only thing I do not like is that I cannot highlight AND underline the same passage.

It took awhile to learn where the screen opened to determine choice of book of Bible, say, Psalms. Other than that, could the Developer please mention the version? Going to the next or prior chapter is accomplished though flipping to right or left. Convenient Mike Icons allow reading aloud. Notes are available for mention of response to particular passages. Edit: I see CPDV for Catholic Public Domain Version on Play store.

just installed and tested the audio but I don't know why my audio plays and stops. Pls fix it as it was my reason for choosing to install the app. I have had several others but no different. If this is fixed I will give complete stars

The book of Psalms is incorrect. They are all pushed back by one number. Maybe 1 of them is missing. For example check Psalm 91, 25,23. Genesis 1:1 is incorrect. It should be heavens (plural), not heaven. There are a lot more errors. The app presentation and visual appeal is good.

I like that you included a feature whereby one could slow down the speed of the narrator. This is an awesome app and stands true to the catholic version of the book.

Would much rather have an actual person read and interject some feeling. The appropriate voice is too mechanical. No pauses where pauses would be appropriate, like the beginning of a new chapter.

Was a great app, used it daily until i found it had missing/inaccurate chapters and verses. Examples are Psalm 139: 15-24 and John chapter 6 is inaccurate. My refference is the RSVCE. These are just the ones i found. I felt i needed to uninstall the app once i found multiple inaccuracies.

overall good app but missing at least one psalm so after that the psalms are all incorrectly numbered also some of the old testament chapters have pieces that are repeated. I noticed that in the reviews this has been brought to your attention but hasn't been changed and no response. I worry that I am not getting correct information I used to have the king James version but I particularly wanted the catholic version I hope you can rectify this thank you

Able to read small or large parts of any part of the Bible. No one else I've found does this. The audio is a little fast but understandable. The pronunciation of prophets and other names leaves a little to be desired. You can start and stop at any reading or paragraph. Does a great job for me.

The audio method help me to read the Bible with a new experience. I can stop and come back easily. I can search the verse that I want. And instead of listening to the vanity news on the social media I can enjoy the contents of the Bible and enrich my soul.

This looks nice and it's easy to read, but only if one wants to read only 1 chapter. To read the next chapter one has to go back and find and click on the next number of chapter, so a it bothersome. IMHO the best app to read the Holy Bible is eKatolik, but it's in Indonesian only.

Well set scriptures and the English used is more comprehensive which makes the understanding to flow and made easy for all. It is inspiring to engage in reading the bible to find more information.

I love this Catholic Bible. It has options for marking verses you would like to remember and share. It is written in very common English and very simple to understand. It also has search options. I really love it.

The words construction are modern and easy to understand. I particularly love the audio. The repeat audio feature helps with memorising verse(s).

It's a fairly clunky app and user interface is not great or intuitive. The robotic tone of the reader is distracting and sometimes just wrong such as when it told me that Jesus went out into the dessert.
