During His lifetime on earth our blessed Lord forgave sins, healed the sick and cast out demons. He wanted to continue this thorough his minsters. After his resurrection Jesus told His disciples "As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”
- John 20:21-23Thus confession is a sacrament instituted by Jesus himself to forgive our sins.
We might be catholic who is very close to the church or one who stays away from the church we still need to confess our sins to get our sins forgiven. Even if you are a terrible sinner do not worry to approach God and ask for His forgiveness as God's mercy is more than the magnitude of your sins and he can freely forgive the sins as He already paid for it in the Cross.

God is eagerly waiting for us as mentioned in the parable of Prodigal Son. So let us repent our sins and turn back to Him, ask for forgiveness of our sins. And he will fill our lives with his mercy, love and peace which world cant provide.
“Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool."

The modern world provides us false teachings and it denies personal guilt and admits only social crimes gives no importance to personal repentance but only public reforms. It speaks about brotherhood by ignoring the fatherhood of Lord. For layers the sin has become crime and for psychiatrists it became a complex.We should remember that sin is a reality in the world and we have to face it for we all are sinners. We cannot begin to receive the mercy of God until we recognise that we are sinners.Lets ask Lord for his pardon and mercy and ask for the grace to lead a holy life.

This has been a really useful tool to help me with my confession. However I have two pieces of feedback: 1. Once I have marked an examination complete, I would like to unmark complete to edit it. 2. When I see the report at the end, it would be useful if the sins were summarised under each of the relevant commandments
Error file system exception. Cannot open file path it says. Installed a number of times but to no avail. Finally uninstalled.
Helpful app. It would be nice if we could also write sins in our words. And also to keep a schedule of confession dates to see if we are frequently doing confession. Hope you will update it soon.

The app is actually helpful. Although I would suggest including a list of mortal and venial sins so as to help us identify if we have committed grave sins that need to be confessed immediately.
Great tool to prayerfully prepare for confession. There are two questions that I mark which I feel should be corrected to the negative to follow lines of other questions. (Have I attempted to grow and defend my faith? Have I passed on my faith to my family and children in a faithful way?) These should be worded to the negative so not marked for confession because they are the good wording. 😉 otherwise, love it!

Much more stable. I would rate it 5 stars if the app included a note feature to record feedback from confession and check boxes on individual points (like in a task list) as points are being discussed.
I'm new to the app but enjoying it so far. I wish that there was an alarm or reminder that could be set for each day to ensure I do the examination. I really like how the app goes through each commandment thoroughly. Still new to the app, but enjoying it so far!
I love this app because it makes going to confession so much easier as it saves everything that you want to tell the priest.

This is a great preparation tool! The only small suggestion would be to develop a way so that one can see the stars they've checked off after going through the list, that way they don't have to go back through each Commandment to find the ones they've checked.
