Catholic Connect

I really want to like this, but it's all still very rough. Definitely needs more development. Problems in profile editing: Parish: Can't find my parish. Only shows parishes in Argentina (I'm in America) Connect your networks: Pressing on the arrow on the right side doesn't work. You have to press on the left side. Tapping things on the instagram login didn't seem to work? You couldn't really press on the text fields, and could only move to the next field by pressing the "Return" button on your phone's keyboard. Profile screen: the info section shows my birthday as one day off, despite appearing normal in the editing screen. General: Just seems laggy and slow with everything you do. BIGGEST PET PEEVE is when I hit the back button on my phone, it always exits out of the app. I would like for it to just go back to the previous page on the app!

Love the concept and the vibe of the place. Although, it can be improved. There are some functions that doesn't work properly. An example is when you go to the media section of the app, it automatically plays all the videos at once. I'll give five stars and edit my review once there's it's fixed. I appreciate this app!! I love the idea for the app, since I love Catholic Connect itself! As a concept, it's awesome, but theres a lot of work to be done for sure. I am not able to add my home parish here in Maine, I can't connect my Instagram, no results pop up if I search for any person who DOES HAVE AN ACCOUNT, and it's a bit laggy. I know it's a new app, so I'm patient with it and I can't wait to see improvements, even if my ex girlfriend is one of the first people to pop up on my suggestion list😂 God bless!!!!!!

Needs work. Reminds me of MySpace. Firstly, it's very clunky and not intuitive to navige around the app. It took a few goes to sign up which was frustrating. Features present in other social media apps such as the ability to select your location, post multiple photos at the same time, editing photos etc are not present here. Posts go missing. Unable to search friends or follow parish, which is a shame.

I really wanted the Catholic Connect app to be amazing but I can't even get past the sign up process. Every time I get the message "unexpected error, something went wrong." I kept trying for an entire day. Pity...

Great idea, lots of flaws. Seems like it may have been released before it was fully ready. Lots of crashes and broken features. Very few users as a result. I will keep using in the hopes that some support encourages change

This app fails to allow users to register. I've tried waiting it out but there is little point in having a dead app on my phone. It is a real shame as the concept excited me and it could have been so promising.

Great premise, however it does not allow Instagram to connect and it lags a lot. I'm hopeful for more updates that will tesolve this as I love the idea behind it.

Just got it. Got all the parishes here in Dublin, Ireland. But definitely some other issues around insta, speed of loading but to be expected on a new platform. Looking forward to seeing how it progresses. Will encourage others to check out.

App is awesome, complete with features such as posting vids, images also finding parishes and more. Perfect app for catholics out there who wants to reach out to the community. 🙂

doesn't work. cant get location services to work or even get the app to request permissions. also it glitches every time i try to sign up or choose something. disappointed

⭐⭐⭐ for now because the app is still pretty rough. Looking forward to the final product when everything works smoothly and I can connect with other Catholics near me.

Awesome app, theres still a lot of room for improvement but will be helpful for catholics regarding local religious events and other activities. Excited for future updates. 😁

i love the idea of this app, but i cannot edit my profile at all. & any time i try to do anything for more than 5 minutes the app freezes up :(

I can't even sign up to make an account. I tried the google and facebook option. The app crashes or does not proceed.

Great experience with this app! I can easily connect with all friends and lost of features provided by this app.

I would love this, but it simply doesn't work. I can't even select my parish. The little circle just keeps a spinnin'. I'm not sure how many local people are on it. I couldn't get that far.

I also had a problem with this app concerning porn popping up several times a day. I had to delete the app!

Very nice app! With this, I can easily connect with my Catholic friends and stay updated with our parish activities.

Something happened here. It's been hacked, PORN pop ups happening several times a day.

The app semms to be really good, but it h Keeps stopping on my device, I'm looking forward to chat! Please fix it!

I was looking for an app that connects me to my community and I can talk about my religious faith. It seems like that my search ends here. Hope this app does not deviate from its main objective and keep serving the community.

Just found this app and I was surprised to see many people from my parish community and groups I know nearby. Looking forward to using this app to connect my parish community.

It feels empty, and no content is filtered. Reporting a troll account crashed the app.
