Catholic Prayers & Catholic Bible Offline, Free

The application is good for Catholics and those who wish to read books of apocrypha. I would love to give it a 5 stars rating but the application is not working properly on my phone. At times text disappears, only marking inks shown, books and chapters without text. I have to clear data from the app to gain text. How can it be fixed because I'm sick and tired of losing data.

Excelleny App. Supports daily devotion and prayer, essential to our Walk in Faith. I recommend this App for those wanting to study the Catholic Bible, easy to add bookmarks and notes to scripture which you can refer to at a later date. Good clean layout of scripture. Separate boxes to navigate around chapters of both Old and New Testament. Offers access to content with reduced number of ads.

Nice app but there's no back button. In the prayer menu, whenever you're in a certain page & you just want to go back to the previous page, there's no option for that. When you click the drop-down menu, it will bring you to the beginning of the prayer menu list. Also, In the rosary page, I think it's better if you indicate the days when that certain mystery should be prayed.

Huge treasury of prayers. Some of the wording is terrible, though, ladies beware. It's hard to navigate from one set of prayers to another, and makes you go back to the top of the main catalog for almost everything. There are also some writing glitches, and many prayers repeat 5+ times for no reason. The sheer number of prayers is the reason for the 4 stars. I'll keep using this until I find something more female-friendly.

Months of study lost to chance I suppose. The only thing that remains is the (highlights) no words aside from the casual notes along the course. Heart aches.🤔

I love being able to carry the prayers with me and mark my favorite prayers. However there are a lot of repetitions as you go through the prayers one after another. I have not used the bible part as much although it is convenient to look up passages when I want. I appreciate having the catholic bible rather than the ever present King James version.

It's a wonderful app and has a great navigation through the content and the voice aspect is spectacular. However, navigation through the bookmarks is still a bit wanting and needs to be revamped for user friendliness and ease of navigation.

This is a fine app, with good prayers. Whenever I read a prayer and press back, though, it sends me all the way back to the top of the prayer sections (so, I could be reading a prayer in the Jesus section, but instead of pressing back and going back to the Jesus section, it shows me the list again, and its all the way at the beginning of the list, at Acts). It would be better if I could press back once to get to the other prayers in the section I'm in, and press back again to see the sections.

Amazing app! I love it for the Scriptures and hundreds of amazing prayers. There is a reminder that pops up three times a day, telling me to pray. It's very convenient! I would highly reccomend this app. I do wish they would make it easier to take notes though! Overall, 9/10.

Great app. love that they have prayers in Latin. Would have been 5/5 if you could go back to the previous menu rather than sending you all the way back to the first menu when you pressed the back button.

I have been using this app for more than a year. It was doing fine, then suddenly it only shows blank pages , and nothing else, no words or text. Been waiting for a week, but it didn't change back. Sorry, but I have to uninstall

Excellent app. In the prayers section, please keep contents in a box juxtaposed with each other, to prevent scrolling through endlessly. Topic names may be reconstructed and list made smaller. The search for prayers has to be improved.

Convenient..Bible Plus Prayers is a must have and it works offline (A BIG PLUS). I agree with other viewers regarding the back button and the the misplaced verse in Psalms. I also cannot seem to find the Chaplet of Divine Mercy Prayer? It will be great if there were Verses of the Day as well with music/songs (I Love Catholic Songs/Chants). It'll be a great upgrade and buy. Other than that its a great App..THANKS!

I love this bible. The translation is great and the ease of use make it a blessing. I find, however that the numbering of the Psalms seems to be off. That needs a fix. I really love that all the prayers are in this as well. I wish you could make a version or an app with writings by the church doctors and patriarchs.

I've always loved having this app on my phone, as it's free and I take it anywhere for study during my free time. Plus a lot of copies of the Catholic bible do not have a compilation of Catholic prayers which requires purchasing a separate copy of the Catholic book of common prayer. Great app, keep up the good work!

Hi. I'm Lorna.I love the app but I think you should check on some of the books of the Bible. I mean, some chapters do not correspond to the verses in them as compared to those in the tangible Book. Personally I had an issue with Psalms 23. It's verses belong to chapter 24. A ripple effect. And I wish it had a verse-of-the-day kind of the day notification. I still love it though. Thanks

It was working properly then one day it just stopped and I could not see any text/words be it in the menu or the actual bible verses, it just showed blank spaces where the text was supposed to be I had to uninstall and reinstall again and now it's working just fine.

Six months down the line, so far so good... Combining prayers and the bible, with your little notebook and highlighter, all these while offline; a true catch for a lazy catholic. They could do with adding a few novenas and prayers though. Be blessed.

I really like this app. The fact that I can refer to the bible and prayers anytime anywhere is very convenient. I feel the presence of God with me and in my life more and so near. Thank you. However there is something I don t like much. When searching in prayers and then go back it gives you the list from the very beginningand not where you were. One has to seach all over again. I don t know if there is anything that can be done. Thank you again.

I absolutely love this app. Really enjoying the format, the colour scheme, the feel of it all. The only reason I'm rating it 4/5 stars is because it doesn't have a verse of the day widget, and that I personally wouldn't have named it Catholic prayers, but, that's just my two cents. If you guys could add a daily reading widget, I'd give you ten stars if I could. God bless, Pax vobiscum.

Not sure if it can sync between devices. I'm adding to my last comment. The app suddenly stopped working. I hope it comes back soon. I use it everyday!

The app outline is nice and easy to use so kudos to that. But I mean this is supposed to be a BIBLE app. And it seems like EVERYTHING is wrong. None of the Bible verses on this app match up with the real Scriptual verses in other Catholic Bibles. That's very misleading and needs to be fixed!

I'm still new to this app but it helps me to gain spiritual strength through the day when I have a chance to read the Bible or say a prayer. Still have to figure out how to save to Favorites or copy and paste verses that are meaningful to me. Finding my way around still. Other than that, am glad to be able to read and pray when I get the chance. Thanks.

This app helps me a lot but there is only one problem:"there is a mistake in the scriptures,when one want to read a book,they get another one in place of the one they are looking for"!Let's say i want to read the book of Psalm,i get the following book in place of Psalm or Matthew,Mark and so on.Is there a way to make it right for better use?May God bless you for your great work!😇

The translation is very easy to understand. The highlighting function and other features are very useful. Excellent mobile Bible.

I love the prayers but the app is a bit clunky~it teaches the virtue of patience and slows me down which is best when I'm supposed to be focusing on my relationship with God, instead of trying to rush. Thank you for the improvement in my prayer life!

I like how you can change the speed and the voice although a human voice would be much better with the same controls. thank you for sharing this app.

it works for what it is(ebook/digital bible) with the categorized books and chapters but the prayers aren't accurate and well credited to the rightful authors/source. features like ookmarks don't work and navigation is 🙄
