I'd characterize this app as a game changer, particularly for someone who receives transit benefits from an employer or other entity. The app is extremely easy and convenient to use, and with so many instances of the ticket machines not working, this app is really valuable and a major time saver.
This would be a lot cooler if it were more usable! I tried to purchase a ticket last night and then this morning and kept getting an error saying that the ticket would only be good through 12/31/18. I had to sign out and then sign back in to be able to buy a ticket. If I weren't a software developer and therefore already familiar with debugging stuff, I wouldn't have thought to do that. But it did cause me to miss a bus I needed to take because I didn't have cash.
I don't understand the limit of cards added. In fact it's rly stupid. I kept both mine & my mom's cards on my account. Something led to both of us having to get new cards & now it's a worthless app bc of the card cap. I called & was told I could come uptown to put money on my wallet, but how the hell do you expect me to get downtown to do that if I can't purchase a ticket in the first place??
The app keeps saying i have too many credit/ debit cards added to it and I only had one. I tried to add another and it keeps telling me theres an error i deleted the app and installed it bavj and ut still does it there is no card attached now. please fix this.
*BEWARE!* THIS APP ROBS YOU OF FARES! I used to purchase a week's worth of tickets. Before the end of the week, I would notice I was short a ticket or two. I thought I could outsmart the app by purchasing just TWO tickets at a time for my daily fare. I would use ONE fare to get to work and a few hours later, the app would reflect that I had NO FARES available. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET ROBBED OF FARES, BUY JUST 1 TICKET AT A TIME.... RIGHT BEFORE YOU BOARD, OR PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
I got the app to avoid issues with Lynx ticket machines not in service. I like that it is good on local buses and I can buy a pass anywhere. Wish it had Express rates too.
I am not able to add my credit card. Contacted support, they tell me to call the operator. Call the operator, they tell me that they can't help me edit my payment methods. They also tell me that my account is locked and that I am not allowed to edit payment options for 6 months!!!!!! I contact support, they tell me to try the operator again. What a joke!
Great app! easy to buy Lynx and transit tickets for the Charlotte-Metro area. One thing to note you can not have the application open on two devices under the same #.
Won't save my card information. Keeps telling me to check my internet connection. I'm connected to wi fi in my office so know I have a connection. This app is useless.
Anytime I take the train I use this app. It helps save time and always ensures that I have a ticket even when I'm running late and can't buy one in time before needing to hop on the train.
Can't use the app after changing mobile. uninstalled app from old device still not working. Call attendant phone number is automated no one responds.Very bad customer service. No way to activate your mobile app if you switch phones. Fix the app ASAP or hire someone to attend customer service calls.
I've used this for years. Now it's stopped.. shows no fare. Why not just get rid of it because it's not working anymore. This has been very important to have since I don't drive, don't have cash on hand. Now I gotta take uber... 😩
This is such an enormous convenience compared to using broken ticket machines. Now if ww could use the app on buses, life would be great. The app works almost all the time.
Use to be really awesome way of buying passes for the light rail, until it was disabled. Why even have the app still up if you don't plan on implementing it? 5 stars is now 1 star.
Awesome App. Was able to download and buy a ticket in just 1 minute. Use same ticket for bus and train. Kudos to developer.
Downloaded this app thinking I could use it to purchase bus tickets. Will change my rating to 5 stars if/when they add such functionality.
Terrible app in need of updates. won't take additional cards, continuously getting server errors messages.
Been using App for over a years or so and now it won't work.. Its saying NO FARES and can't buy tickets. Sent emails and no response. Was 5 stars now a 2 star app
I try to buy a ticket, all I get is "no fares found" everytime. It's a waste of my time and if there isn't any fares available come Monday im deleting this app.
Unfortunately, it requires US phone number to sign in. How about tourist like me without US number? It would be nice to have this app.
Works for bus too. Just "use" the $2.20 lynx fare as you board the bus (except express buses) and show the transfer counter to the driver.
Should be able to buy bus passes on the app. No good reason for not providing it all on one app.
CATS your app is literally broken right now and we are unable to buy tickets. Fares don't show up. I suggest your app team fixes this ASAP.
I love app until now I see what ppl saying about the card limit and I only had 2 cards and deleted both and still get dat message now I cant purchase tickets dat needs 2 be fixed
Disappointed that I cant buy monthly senior pass on this app to be mailed to me... The full website is ridiculously complex!
It doesn't allow you to re-enter your card once you delete it and forget your PIN. It says you have exceeded the maximum of cards. How?! If it was only one card
Completely useless, only sells tickets for the LYNX Light Rail, you cannot view bus schedules or buy bus passes.
You can no longer purchase tickets in this app as of 2021-08-01; it is completely useless now.
App stop working. Keeps saying its no internet connection and it won't update my card info
App is slow, crashed constantly and now, when I switched phones last week, I cannot even use it because it is locked. Tells me to call an attendant, I do, then after hearing the same message 3x, the system tells me Thank you for call and good bye. Cannot get a single human to answer the phone or emails. This is just pathetic and lazy programming at its best. Don't waste your time on this app, pay at the stations and save the hassle. If I could I would give zero stars.
