This app features
• configurable flight data displays with 3D effect (further displays will be added in future updates of the app)
• toggle between drone perspective and ground perspective (smartphone camera) to check the surrounding during start and landing without taking off the goggles
• on-screen tutorials that will bring you up in the air faster

The app can be downloaded for free and can be used for 5 minutes of flight time after each start.

DJI Phantom 3 or newer is needed
In order to achieve the best results, we recommend using smartphones with 5 - 5.5" displays with a very high resolution (at least Full HD = 1920 * 1080, better QHD = 2560 * 1440 pixels).
As 3D goggles you can use "google cardboard" compatible devices or any device that will hold your smartphone.
We recommend using devices that allow your smartphone camera to see outside - so that you can use the full potential of our app.
If the goggles support adjusting the distance between the lenses, it is easier to make them fit perfectly.
Please respect the rules/regulations/laws about flying with goggles that apply to the litchi country you are living in.

Downloaded the CAVU App to my Android Samsung Galaxy S8+. Tried numerous fpv goggles in conjunction with the app content and couldn't get the resolution correct. Unless there's a way to adjust the resolution to: enter "wm size 2160x3840" to switch to 4K resolution enter "wm density 800" to adapt the size of the icons to a reasonable size. without having to download software and basically root the phone, I guess I won't be purchasing CAVU. Any ideas on how to get the correct resolution so 4k content and icon sizes display correctly ???
Been using for months w Mavic Pro with no issues, repeat, no issues. Use it nearly daily. Don't use headtracking myself. ZTE GrandXMax/Alcatel Idol 3 previously. Check out my videos, almost all of them were made while using CAVU.
Not bad over all, but needs some work. Unfortunatly, the Google map does not pair with this app. It shows the Google map square but no map. There is no directional arrow to tell you where your at so please add features to make this the perfect fpv app for mav mini and Mavic Air 2.
I solved usb problem :) it's too easy. Now no problem to connect my Mavic pro. :) Just use OTG cable for usb connection problem. Connet to OTG cable to RC controller and use the OTG cable's usb port and connect to usb cable to your telephone. Thats all.
Great app , However 1 minor problem with a msg pops up something timed out it gives you a scare that you lost connection to drone but doesn't seem to be any more then a error msg has worked well and I vote it 5 stars
seems good n they gav 5 minutes of demo time of unlinited session , it is rare to get such demo in vr app , even litchi app dnt give demo 2 check out their features, we need dis demo 2 check compatiblity as many time drone can have huge compatibilty issues , dis cavu app does work with my spark but unfortunately 4 me the app do not give the options to change camera settings n other settings, n personally i found the whole layout some wat confusing n unintuitive ,hope it wil get bettr in future
Bad, Very bad I couldn't connect to to my drone although I followed the instructions for the letter. Honestly not worth spending money. You really need to work on it.
It's back! Latest update has revived this fantastic app! Using an S9+ w/Android10. A good thing because alternatives are not as good.
only let's you get 5 minutes of flight time unless you pay $12, so it's Google play version of clickbait. I uninstalled as soon as I saw that. for that, have a 1 star :)
Its ok but two things,it does not send the video to your phone...glitchy🤣 #2...why only 5 minutes.as a matter of fact how would i buy it /and when is an appropriate time?
it works yes but i would like my d buttons controll back so i can toggle to gps view like googl earth i see all vr apps do this dumb you dont need phone camera just tip your goggles to see drone cavu should allw me controller button configuration gps turn off leds no need for pip we need map d1 mavic pro but yes its the best ive tried all
Impossible to rate an app that crashes every few seconds after the update
Glitchy, 5 second lag, won't work with otg. Using version 5 andriod With dji spark. I installed 4 times then gave up.
How do I connect my mavic pro to the app. I connect my controller to my phone start up the app but it just says connect dji drone.... the app never finds it how do I connect it ?

The app won't even open
I've only tried trial version and love it. you can see your drone as well as see birds eye view at the same time .. Took me a while to connect but I did get it to work. When plugging in the USB cable, make sure you assign it to the app when it tells you to or just reset. I'm amazed by the quality. Will fly it out and about instead of my mavic pro in the house before i purchase. But those complaining about $12 cost.. well I almost purchased a $200 dji goggles.. mmm save some money people!!!
