this app seriously rules, nobody else i know is getting transaction free cash withdrawals in japan. and when i need to top up, i can play the markets by waiting for the yen to tank before i make my transfer
Excellent experience using the app and Caxton in general. Quick to load more money and easy to check up to date spending history. I've used it in the past with multiple currencies on the same trip and it made travelling so easy and stress free. I highly recommend it
The app is generally pretty good, but there are relevant details which are on it, like the maximum daily cash withdrawal amount. The app does occassionally go into a loop and keep asking for password or finger print, this is pretty annoying particularly if you in a hurry trying to load money onto the card.
Use of the CaxtonFX app is simplicity itself - you're in full control and looking back over your previous transactions is very easy. Card top-ups take seconds. It's excellent!
Panicking, as money not loading, despite it being taken from my bank. !! Im travelling in 1 week. Loaded money last week, no problem. Not feeling reassured for when I go on holiday, as I will be loading money on when I need it, whilst there and if this problem happens there, I'll be stuck with NO money. I have emailed and DM'd on twitter, phones closed at weekend. No response. Please sort this out..

The app itself is fine, but customer service is complete rubbish. I wrote them twice asking to close my account. ZERO feedback and account is still open! Extremely upsetting experience
Have been charging me regularly without notification since a year after my holiday, stealing my euros without even a notification or an email that they were doing this! I thought I'd leave it on my Caxton card until I went abroad again, but covid happened so they just started siphoning my cash away silently, no warning, no emails, no notifications. That should be illegal. Theives. They had the cheek to send me an email a while back warning me of scammers and suggesting I save up with them! DON'T
Easy to use and good presentation of relevant information. Took a very long time to update the app so that it works with Android 12, which it now does and the PIN issue is now resolved, but the slow response to fixing this significant issue does not bode well for any future problems hence 3 star rather than 5
Good app, good service and1 generally you get a good deal. I've used the card abroad and feel more comfortable out and about with a top up card ones. One thing I've never understood and not had an answer to is how the exchange rate on the landing page of the app is different (higher) than the rate I get when I top up. Not sure if the higher rate is a minimum spend which I'm not meeting, but it's not clear. Email replies have been good with other matters but I haven't had a reply to this

The app is fine. Only problem has been the lack of free withdrawal ATMs in Spain. As most places accept payment by card at no charge I recommend using cash only if absolutely necessary.

I've used this app for a good while now, it's easy to navigate with clear and precise instructions for all the features on it, even for a technofobe like me! No problems with it so far, of course update it as required, but please don't change the easy to use features and the straightforward format, it has always worked well for me, so please don't fix something that isn't broken! The app wont let me log in anymore. I can login on laptop but using the same details tha app reports 'No records found' Caxton have told me after a long srteam of emails that I need to wait for an update but cant tell me when it will be available.

Just put £1000 of euros onto my card. Good exchange rate & the payment process via my bank's app was really easy. The Caxton app is simple to navigate & all info is clearly available.

A very useful card for holidays abroad. Prompt responses if email Caxton but appalling telephone service. You get someone from a call center who says someone will ring back and they never do.
Perfect solution if you don't want to carry cash around. Load currency as & when required and if yo do loose the card it's simple to pause or cancel on the app.

The Caxton app allows one to control all aspects of the Caxton card, and is easy to use. The only problem since Brexit is that EU banks now charge a cash withdrawal fee, but that is not a Caxton charge.

Very easy to navigate app. I have been using it regularly for about six years and find it invaluable on my travels.
I been using this App (and Caxton) for 6 years and its been perfect as we are constantly travelling and need different currencies and international transfers. Until recently, the customer services has been second to none, however, recently its changed drastically. Responses to emails are grammatically incorrect, not spelt correctly and do not answer the question asked. Don't know what has happened but it really needs to change back.
