How it works?
It takes only a few steps to securely wipe data such as files, folders, photos, etc. be using patented data shredding standards. Making it impossible to recover any deleted files.
Free space wiping
When you delete any file, the Android operation system removes the reference to that data but doesn’t delete it. It just simply marked as free so that another file can come and use those blocks.
With the cb Android Eraser app, you can overwrite the unused disk space so that the data - you have manually deleted before over the time - cannot be recovered.

Privacy is more than gold. So Shredder app is "must have" doubtlessly. As for me, Cb Data Eraser is the best for Android. I paid for it. I like functionality and design. The only shortcoming is that it stops its job if screen goes off. I do not know if it is possible to solve this problem on Android. If yes, I suppose many users would appreciate it.
It won't access my SD card storage, throws and error message. Bought and paid for the developer support. Contacted support , got a reply telling me to follow the instructions that I had done already. Made a screen video for them showing the error, they won't come back to me. The drop down breaks through the next heading and looks and performs poorly. They have my 7 quid and I have something I can't use. I know who is better off.
It's a great app! Bought into the premium version with no complaints. I also downloaded several data restore apps to see if the deleted files would reappear but none of them did. Five stars is well deserved!
Installed this app on my Kindle Fire HD 7. It got halfway through the shreddimg process and stopped, indicating the memory was full. I closed the app to find 2+ gb of memory was now being consumed and I cannot find the file (.bin ?) that was apparently created. Unless the staff of Data Eraser cb can instruct me on how to find / delete this file I'll need to complete a factory reset and reinstall all the apps and files! Most annoying!
Great to see an app work like it's supposed to, thank you. And to the bad reviews, it's not going to hurt you to lay your phone down a minute and let the app do its job, also dummy pay attention to what you want to delete before execution, common sense people.
Straight up doesn't work. Even with 3 passes any recovery app picks all files up, and anything past 3 passes soft bricks the phone.
Great app. Ive used its premium version during the past 3 years. But I notised that the app is not updated since 2020. Admin please inform is this apps support is discounted?
I press 'complete erase' (after giving permissions to storage & contacts) and nothing happens (the button is disabled and '0 B' displays at the top) : / Bought premium didn't change Android 11 pixel 2 31/10/20 No support/reply from devs

No way to throttle back cpu consumption, turns phone into a brick while cleaning. Need to be able to multitask while cleaning and not consume all the CPU. Make cpu use user selectable.
The app locks up on my Alcatel phone with Android 8.1 go edition & we paid for premium version but still locking up, contacted support, but its been over a day, no response.
Everything seems to be working well and I've used this to erase the free space on my phone a number of times now. Though I cannot help and wonder why the developers paid 100+ Indian people to rate this 5 stars and leave a poorly written review that tells me nothing about the application itself.
Looks to have a great set of options even without pro U get to do plenty on saying this am considering to go pro as it has lot of options on wat can be shredded would like an idea on which are not that powerful to the most secure format of shredding if possible
Tried the option of cleaning spare memory. However all the spare memory was filled. Couldn't find the file filling the spare memory. Uninstalling this app Thanks for the reply.
I deleted a few photos, deleted the thumbnail files and some texts. Thanks for the great app.

Didn't work for me at all.I wonder why. When l did a recovery with diskdigger, the pictures still showed up. Could there be something I'm doing wrong?
I downloaded just to write this review. Never intended to use it. All of these "apps" like cotton candy, spin up a penny's worth of sugar into a $5 sale. -Only way is to over write- Fill your card/internal space with random photos and pdfs Then delete then fill your card w/random photos then delete. The "companies" "hahahaha" are scam artists.
App gets stuck on preparing data. Says <5 min yet over an hour later still preparing data with the <5 min message. App is useless considering it locks up early on in the process.
Customer service is amazing!! App seems simple enough but I had questions and within minutes I had an answer great job!!
well, there was no problem with "write permission of SD card failed" that I got with SDelete, but you can only erase a maximum of 100 MB total per day, and if you have files bigger than that it'll cost you $5.99... no thanks.
Excellent eraser. No recovery with this one. Careful though, take your time and maybe try a practice run or two.
I used your app to delete undeleted file, but your app could not even see it in the folder, the size of it is Zero but couldn't deleted it till now.. develop it to delete such files..
Can the police recover videos that i have shredded using 8 passes with this app? Also, do the files continue to be shredded when the screen is locked ?
It's not really free. It only allows 10mb of data to be deleted per day. So the free version makes no sense to use because it will take about 3 years to wipe a tiny 10gb drive. A one terabyte drive that is common now days will take 300 years with this free version.

Sorry for the single star, but it did not work for me. "Complete Erase" seems to start but never finishes. The button at bottom of screen never becomes enabled. I'm using an LG tablet running Android 5. Thanks for your reply. Sorry that I don't remember which erasure method. It was 2 or 3 on list when I changed. Result was same. Waited 30 minutes. I went with another method and the tablet's now donated. Upping my rating Best wishes!
