Love this app
I've been using this app for a very long time, now. I cross the Tecate US / Mexico border several times a week. My main complaint isn't with the functionality of the app, but of the inaccuracy of the data. It’s almost never correct. At times the listed wait time says 10 minutes and when I get to the border the line is a mile long and the wait time is 40 minutes. Other times the app tries to predict the future by posting a wait time over an hour in the future. About the only time you can guarantee the date is correct is when the listed wait time is zero minutes.
San Diego and Otay Ready Lane predictions always off by 30 to 60+ minutes. I know it is hard to be accurate but as a government app they have the means to be better. Also refreshing should be done every 30 minutes at least. Trying another app that uses data from traffic cams for their predictions.
Absolutely useless app. May 28 2018 Otay Mesa at 5pm showed 50 minutes for Ready Lanes and 75 minutes for Standard Lanes. The ACTUAL wait time was 6 hours!!! What is the point of such a incorrect and misleading information??? Major disappointment. Why Border Agents don't ask people what was their wait time? It would at least give some idea! How anybody can create an app which is so incorrect!!!
App said 60 minutes. Its been 2 hours 45 minutes and we are about 30 cars away but have not moved for about 45 minutes. Now app says time pending for the past 35 minutes. We are in regular lanes. Its 12:45 am. Don't understand why the app would be so off. Its a waist of space on phone and very disappointing.
To keep so many human beings waiting 1.5 to 3 hours for more than a decade at the San Diego-Tijuana border.. is it not inhumane? (normal, ready-lane and pedestrian; even if their website/app claim 10-60 minutes). By looking at google maps real time traffic, real time cameras, and listening to anyone's testimonial, one can see their lack of condescendence for human life.
How about you stop violating basic human rights by making us wait for hours without being able to pee or poo, then forbidding us to leave our vehicles to use your bathrooms if we are travelling alone??? PUT PORTO POTTIES ON YOUR BRIDGES INSTEAD OF SPENDING THE MONEY ON WORTHLESS APP DEVELOPMENT AND STOP BEING AN INSULT TO HUMANITY, CBP!!! And NEVER AN EXCUSE to hold a crosser for more than 3 MINUTES!!! THAT IS WHAT SECONDARY INSPECTION IS FOR, YOU A-HOLES!!! SOME OF US NEED TO GET TO WORK ON TIME!
This could be a great app, but its lack of accuracy is the problem. App says things like a 40 minute wait for ready lane, yet real wait was just under 2 1/2 hours.
Waiting times can be off as much as one hour do not rely on this app for crossing the border.
This app is great for anyone who crosses the border. It gives you a good idea of how long it will take to return to the US.
wonderful app, a must have for us that either live in the border or just cross regularly; yes I am aware that the wait times they post there are not 100% accurate, but those are machine estimates that can become way longer due to the nature of the inspections and the officers doing them, the only thing is that it would be better if they refreshed the info more frequently and not in just 1 hour intervals
says less than 10 minutes, theres a 90 minute wait, never gets it right
Wait time does not refresher, even after 3 hrs. Inaccurate wait times.
This has the worst accuracy imagined. Don't even bother with it. I'll much rather stick to not knowing what my wait time is. Thanks for nothing CBP.
Says 10 min delay no matter what. This never shows real time delays.
Times to cross are off by 2X or 3X, not accurate.
It said 90min wait at San Ysidro Standard Lanes. Waited 4 hours. Worthless app. Uninstalling.
Would be nice if it gave bidirectional times and not just US bound. Canadian website gives both
Even though the app is not accurate it gives me an idea how congested the border crossing is, I keep a close eye on the numbers if no change, is not been updated and I use latest data as reference, if numbers change that mean data is been updated and its accurate( or close )
Whatever the app tells you, just double the time and it will be correct.
I have never used a more useless app ever. I have been standing in line for 140minutes. This app informed me there was less than 10 minutes.
Times are not accurate but it's better than nothing. Waze is probably better.
App said 90 min, real wait was 120 min.
Thought this app was trustable, what a mistake and deception. Information from a government agency SHOULD BE REAL! Don't trust information posted in this app.
Otay border says there's a 45 minute wait when in fact it's a 2 hour and 30 minutes of waiting in line!!
Absolutely Ridiculous. I so wanted to belive that the information here was accurate. A tip....if it says 20 minutes, plan for 2 hours.

Totally worthless. It's behind at least 3 hours. Coming through at Andrade at 1pm, it indicated "refreshed just now" but the passenger car and pedestrian info was as of 10am. Wait times weren't even close to being accurate.
