It does notify when news happens BUT when the notification is clicked on, the specific news item does NOT come up. Just the home cbs7 page. Probably the story is buried in there somewhere but, in my opinion, it should open up the specific story without have to search.
Something changed, use to work great. Open stories, try to scroll down, white screen, have to close app. Can only read headlines, not stories.
Since the latest update half of the stories won't open, says "page can't be found..however here are some things you may be interested in". every page is filled with ads
Wouldn't load at all, downloaded it and it said that "I" had a network connection problem, to try again. I did not have a network problem and will not try again.
The story you chose could not be downloaded. Plus, takes extra time to get to important weather updates because of the stupid ads before app will load.
I don't need my phone talking to me, telling me about new stories. I was fine when it just put the little 7 at the top of my phone to notify me.
News is not updated regularly and takes too long to start up. Too many ads.
App has trouble loading pages when it first opens. Lots of loading circle time.
It informs you when something happens but then it does not bother to update which is just ad important if not more

News happens on the weekend but you don't update it. You advertise local Midland and Odessa. You only give Odessa news.
Decent coverage of local news. Main complaint is they seldom announce public events before they happen. End up finding about events after they happen. Things that I want to go to.
