*Update* I have managed to finally figure out how to use the app. It is becoming pretty helpful in forming a strategy to combat my insomnia. Please add more info in the help sections. Figuring out how to make it work was unnecessarily frustrating. Some instructions would be great.
This app is actually great, but the workflow is incredibly poorly thought through. The process to log daily data is absolutely arduous, whereas running reports that you'll do like once a week or month is a breeze. I stopped using it because of the data entry workflow - consider copying the UX from Dailio
Can't enter and save data! Tried entering data. Some of the options were simply not available when tapped, preventing the save button from becoming active. So frustrating!
it has all this lovely information and claims to be a way to keep a sleep diary for assessment and adaptation but it's impossible to figure out how to enter the data and there is NO 'help' section within where I can ask.
Keeps changing the reminders I set without knowing about it. The suggested wind down time adjusts randomly, which throws you off your schedule. It focuses on numbers and not actual sleep. If I get up every 20 minutes until I get tired, the app doesn't account for that. You are also limited to view your back log, which is weird since you should have access to your records to show your doctor more than 10 days. Being told I need to see a provider with provider marked is also annoying.
Overall this app works well. There are some issues I have noticed regarding calculations varying between the Android and Apple versions. In the Android version, there are two sets of averages on the screen for every score (SE, Time Asleep, etc.). I realized the averages at the top of each chart reflect all entries cumulatively and the averages listed at the bottom of the chart are more in line for the past week's worth of entries. Also there should be a Sleep Need questionnaire in "Assessment"!
The app cuts out during the guided imagery exercises at about the 2 minute mark for all three exercises. It does not do that during other exercises. It's really annoying because it detracts from the relaxing experience it is supposed to offer. It would be really good if that problem was fixed.
This app leaves a lot to be desired. While it is mostly functional, it's not user friendly. I get the feeling there wasn't a UI developer involved. Also there are parts of the app that are clearly broken, such as the sleep summary average clearly being off by a large margin or the ridiculous sleep prescriptions that want me to sleep for 8 hours but have sleep and wake times that add up to 7 hours. All in all I'd rather stick with my paper sleep logs than struggle with this app.
My sleep doctor asked me to download this to help improve my sleep hygiene to battle insomnia, and it works if you stick with it! This is my favorite CBTi app so far. The user interface isn't as nice or user friendly as I'd prefer, but the features and resources are more important to me than the appearance. I like that I can view all of the details of every sleep diary entry I've ever input, and review them in detail with my physician to continue to improve.
Glad this app is back. I like the analytical tools that were added.
Nice as a basic sleep tracker that requires manual input of times. It has served me well for half a year, but since the latest update, the reminders stopped working altogether, and I forget to enter my times about half the time. Even before, however, it kept changing the time of the reminders - if I set it to remind me at 7:30, I'd expect to be reminded at 7:30, not 8:53. I really hope this gets resolved soon.
App cannot do basic calculations to figure out time asleep and efficiency. It either accepts my numbers and does the math and thus graphs incorrectly or if I try to force it to be more accurate it says my sleep is a negative number. Shame because I really liked the graphs, all the relaxation programs, and the easy to complete sleep diaries.
My disappointment in the attentiveness of software developers continues. You would think that the developer would test for abnormal sleep patterns on an app that is supposed to help with sleep disorders. Tell me how going to sleep at 1500 and waking up the next day at 0645 gives a negative number. What is worse is the popup dialog that tells ME to make sure the data I entered is correct. How about changing the app so you can specify the date that you wake or assume the wake time falls after.
the notifications of this app are useless. they never go off until I open the app and submit a sleep journal entry. After I do that it changes the alarm time to the time I submit the journal and then immediately goes off. What on Earth? EDIT: 6 Weeks and no reply from dev. Reduced to 1☆ and Uninstalled.
Do not expect much if you don't have easy/cheap access to a psychological/sleep therapist. It does little until you give it nightly data that, frankly, keep me awake. And, If you have trouble sleeping, it will tell you that you have trouble sleeping (!) and you should seek help from a professional. Tools that play sleep sounds stop playing when the phone goes to sleep! They should play until I go to sleep! I don't need an app that provides no help and tells me that I have a problem. The very fact that I installed the app means that I have a problem. I know that already.
Simple, very useful app to log sleep without much hassle. But no updates since Sept 2019?! Authors: there's good feedback in the reviews for your attention. It would be great to be able to view more than a week at a time and reminders need to work. Please.
It asks if you want reminders, but then doesn't give them. If I ask for one, I probably need it. If you're not going to provide a reminder, don't ask me if I want one. I already have prescribed bed and wake-up times. I shouldn't have to log my sleep however many days in a row (which I would if the app gave me the reminders it said it would) to use this feature. You can only log how long it took you to fall sleep and how long you were awake throughout the night in increments of 10 minutes.
Like the app, the ONLY thing I wish it could do is keep all of my entries and show me a longer range of time. It seems to only show about a week andi don't think that's nearly enough to get a clear picture of how my sleep is
This App is poorly made. None of the reminders work. Also, the App's sleep diary function assumes that that all times occurs within the same 24 hours so it doesn't accept entries when a target bed time is 11pm, but an actual bed time is 12:30am.
I have installed this application twice by my Doctor on the phone. I have trouble reading the screen as it is all too small and my eyes lose focus. I also find the controls to set time to be too difficult. Again my feedback...
A "Dark Theme / Light Theme" setting would be nice too. Sometimes the very brightness of an app can have the opposite effect of calming, even if the phone settings are set to Dark. This app could also use some more variations in the Tools; other interactive actions. Maybe add some more variety in "Change Your Perspective" instead of just recycling the same 3 or 4 affirmations.
