Since the latest update ive been unable to use the app it keeps crashing and says its violating security policies. I used to love this app but can only give 1 star since it no longer works
Pros: - easy use (transfers, etc) - fingerprint access - nice layout . Cons: - app isnt always accessible - app freezes when depositing checks 🙄 - short statement history - lacking simple features compared to other bank apps . Personal opinion: If you already have an account(s) with the bank, the app is a must have. If you're looking for a new bank with a nice reliable mobile app, keep looking. They've been updating the app with new features and fixes recently, but still have a ways to go.
Mostly the app is fantastic. It's easy to see current balances and transfer money. The only downside I have found is the there are some functions that the bank requires you to do online such as setting up your statements for either paper or e-statement. For whatever reason they don't make it possible to do that through the app and so you have to exit the app and go to the full site to do it. Otherwise, it's a great!
The app has come a long way in terms of features and usability, but it has a long way to go. It worked well enough on my old phone, but it will launch and stall on my s22 ultra. My guess is that the app is not compatible with higher resolutions or the camera cutout.
The mobile deposit comes up on my phone as a little screen, on my big screen. Even though it has been like that the last couple of mobile deposits, it at least 'scanned' and cropped the check image and I managed. This time it just acted like it just took a picture, not scanning/cropping the check image to and the background shows up. I managed with the small screen, but worry now the deposit will not go through, because the image was not 'scanned' and cropped.
I hate this app. It is often down and now won't even open. This inconvenience may make me drop community bank shortly
When it works it works and has a decent amount of features, but oh my god is it not reliable. Service is down a lot, I dont know if its a server thing or an app thing or what but for periods of time it just will not connect making it very frustrating to use. I just want to check my balance and its about a 50/50 if it'll actually work at that time or not.
The phone app is not working I downloaded it green installed it and it just opens up and freezes with a small Symbol in the middle and never changes I can go online and access my account but I've always used the app very frustrating talk to community bank in-store and on the phone.
when it worked, it was great. But then all of the sudden the app now thinks my phone is rooted, AND IT IS NOT, so now it no longer works. I've installed multiple apps to VERIFY it is not rooted. However, on a hunch, I removed some apps that are DESIGNED to root you phone, and now it works again. Lazy coders !!!!!!!!!!!!!
It works. That is all I care about. Well, as of today (3/28/2022), it's not working. Ugh!
Worked great on my old phone. Got a new phone, and the app freezes with the little symbol. Won't even open.
Was working this morning until the update popped up and I updated it. And now I can't get the app to open up. This really sucks.

I use the app all the time. the input going i wish they would add is the ability to view your bills.
Problem installing "error on our end." Shows app is installed, but not found anywhere. Can't even remove it to start over. Worse than useless.
Great app! When I need to make a deposit it is so quick and easy- especially since they give instructions on how to do it before you get to the step of taking a picture of the checks. Any questions I have are quickly resolved by the amazing team at The Community Bank of the Chesapeake!
The app is great when it works, there are some days where it won't work and continue to tell you your login information is wrong.
Very convenient. Love the mobile deposit feature. I wish I was able to make external transfers.

Quick and easy to use
App opens to a blank screen and never loads. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help. Update: an update was provided and now it works.
