ControlByWeb products are Ethernet I/O devices with relays and inputs that can be used to remotely control and monitor electrical devices and sensors. When properly installed and combined with the right components*, ControlByWeb products can be used to remotely reboot computers, control gates, lights, motors, pumps, door locks, or just about any electrical device. They can monitor temperature, position, water level, flow, power, doors, motion, and much more. All of our products have built-in web servers, so your phone or computer communicates directly with the device and not with a server somewhere else. There are no drivers to install, no batteries to change, and no monthly subscription.

Has been working great. Setup was simple. For being in beta the cloud service has been easy to use and solid. Company is very responsive to setup questions and options. Have used control by webs for years without issue. The cloud service only makes a great thing better.
Spent a lot of time with tech support to make it work. Last update is even worse ( as of 9/21/2018), all icons are exclamation marks.
You better have a lot of time on your hands to get it running correctly. 2nd day and still not working
great app! a few networking bugs but otherwise no issues.
A perfect app that controls a wonderful product
Update on March 1st; working again after support call. This version requires more accurate setup. Previous was more forgiving. Feb uodate: Was working until latest update. Now just shows warning triangles and no data. Menu selection seems random too. Please fix, or offer last version.
Solid App but.... could really use a thermostat widget for the x-300 in temperature mode then it would complete my tablet I use for my homes automation
Old App was better. Keeps loosing data, and now only works via LAN. WAN is not working at all.

Use it to set a time and it runs off the 7 day program. You have to go to a laptop and turn on the seven day.
Same thing happened to me as Kevin Kidd explained. I had multiple customer sites in the app and now all gone. Galaxy s4. Used to be great.
Opened CBW this morning to reset an alarm & the control panel acted wierd. Rebooted phone & now all control panels & devices are gone as if new install.
Thanks for the great app! The only thing I can ask for is a function to view trending graphs for the x-300. Please add that and the system will be perfect.
I love the customization, but it takes much longer to load/connect than just using the web interface.
Very well done app, simple but powerful and configurable. One bug: the new version adds customizable icons, but they always revert back to the default after a restart.
When adding an X-300 Thermostat to a control panel, on a Galaxy Note 4, the app instantly crashes.
This app showing only values from cbw devices...Yes, it's simple to use, but where is graphs, option to calculate values from analog channels.. Well, maybe one day it will be little SCADA on tablet or phone...
Never a problem. Instant and easy access. 3 years now.
A 1x2 widget would be nice.other then that it works as described.
This app is a little tricky to setup but once done, PHENOMENAL PERFORMANCE!!
App appears to work well but only issue i have is every time you start it.. It goes into the about section and not directly to the control panel for some reason.
App crashes. It needs to be updated as you cannot export the settings, which it makes it impossible to load on another device It also needs to support ssl, in this day and age iot security is important. It is overall a nice app, but there seems to be no development being done on it, which is sad as the cbw products are very nice
