Cdian - Chinese Dictionary

There is something wrong with the component search. It won't add up the characters I highlight. Immediately I try to highlight more than one, the previous one becomes unhighlighted and it doesn't form a new character. This happens with whichever ones I put together.

It is really a good App and I LOVE it😍😍😍But I think there are certain things which could be improved. I like "jsho" (The Japanese Dictionary of this same creator) more because it has an extra feature of "search by common words". So I think if similar feature is added to this App too, it will surely be the BEST of the best. Hope that the creators will do it in the next version. We are desperately waiting for it. Please SIR, add this really useful feature in your next version🙏🙏🙏

Fist of all a GREAT thanks to developer Richard , secondly I have two request ;1-if it is possible please add multiple radical search function 2-for some characters which are not entered in dictionary , it would be nice if user could do this manualy.Thanks again.

There are lots of detailed character and word articles with pinyin transcription, annotated by usage frequency, but the results don't seem cluttered and work great both for extending your vocabulary and for quick reference. Also, search by radicals is a very interesting feature.

Excellent app. Can use english, pinyin or chinese characters to search for words. Gives you common, most commons used words and expressions. Also tells you what HSK level words.

If it didnt have bookmarks and importing to ankidroid I would switch over to pleco. The app is very unrefined compared to the japanese dic by the same developer

Very simple apps but just good for all we need in daily life usage.

Developer, don't know why?? I did write you a quite long e-mail since a few days ago but up till now no answer nor help. So, developer, I delete your app. If you want me to redownload I first want what I mentioned in my e-mail to be solved. I'm disappointed because it doesn't let me bookmark as favourites. I only can send favourites to my e-mail, very strange!!

U CAN LIKE SEARCH EVERY CHINESE WORD AND IT DOESN'T NEEDS WIFI OR DATA!!!!!

Kudos Richard L! I thought I can never find an app close to Pleco when it comes to usefulness and handy! I'm not gonna look for handwriting recognition for now as keyboard sometimes support. Just keep improving but stick to your original craft even if you update eventually. More power! And will definitely recommend this to my friends. 謝謝那麼多

This app is a True Gem! Can't stress it enough... A wonderful companion for both students and teachers, it has EVERYTHING you could ask for if you are eager to learn Mandarin. Easy to search for words both in English and Chinese characters, simplified as well as traditional. You'll pick up Chinese in no time and all.. Bravo! I'd give it a hundred stars if I could 😁

This app adds several very useful items to the popular source dictionary CC-CD . The interface is easy to read, clean and organized. As an intermediate beginner, I find the most important meanings much easier to learn, than the attempted comprehensive meanings and detailed description. I highly recommend this app as the first dictionary, then Pleco as the ultimate resource.

This is a great dictionary app with a large amount of phrases and words without using up too much space on my device. The only problem I have is not being able to view my bookmarked entries. EDIT: Never mind, I found the bookmarked entries. 5 stars!
