Awesome CDL practice app. It helped me get my CDL 5 years ago, and has helped me get my X endorsement throughout my career. Get this app!
This app is awesome !! Gives questions... answers ...cdl manual answers ...and advice from real truckers.
Just passed my hazmat renewal with the help of this app...highly recommended! Thanks!
This app is awesome. I got my hazmat, DT and tanker endorsements on the first try because of the prep in this app.
Good test questions, will help you pass.
The Best CDL app
I have passed my California written exams thanks to this app, but I found their website to be a lot more useful. Just sign up for a free account and the study is better over there. Thank you very much and I will recommend your services to anyone who wants a cdl.
Trucking Truth is hands down the gold standard for onoine trucking communities. The staff care about two things, the truth about the industry and you as a driver. This app is a handy android version of their High Road CDL Training Program they host free of charge on their website. Without a doubt one of the best things you can use to prepare yourself for the test. I also highly recommend getting on their forums and introducing yourself. It's a great source of comradery, information, and hard truth.
Read through the reviews and I have to say after playing with the app the questions have the same answer as my Nevada manual except phrased differently. Having already done cdl b testing including air brakes and passenger. I can also say the same answers to questions I already passed once with. I am a tad ocd did every online practice out there. Now that I am going for my a with all endorsements gotta hit the books and tests hard. Thanks for the app. Hopefully by the end of the month i am another trucker lo
It helped me pass my air brake exam but not my general knowledge. I'm not sure if this app is up to date because there were a lot of questions on the dmv general knowledge exam that weren't on this app. I tried twice in a row hoping to get some repeat questions but only 2 questions were repeats from the first attempt. :(
Ok I only studied from this app only and I passed general knowledge and airbrakes. I failed combo twice then decided to read the dmv manual and then passed. Pretty good app all in all. Thanks for makeing it and thanks for my cdl class a permit.. Also its the rhode island test I was takeing.
I am new to commercial driving and while reading the manual I had a hard time remembering all the little details. After doing these tests until continuously scoring 100s I was very confident in my knowledge of the operational standards of commercial vehicles. Thank you so much. Its very cool that you dont charge for this app.
Thank you guys ! I passed my California CDL written test thanks to this app. As for the crybabies saying they failed. ..COMMON SENSE TELLS YOU TO READ YOUR STATE'S DMV BOOK! READ YOUR BOOK TWICE AND USE THIS APP! I'M taking truck test part in March.
For the Washington state book it says no more than 3psi loss for single vechiel and no more than 4psi in combination vechiels in one minute for the air brake quiz, so may not be accurate for Washington state, still a good study app.
PA State CDL trainee here and it's working for me and my friends. Is there any way to extend each test? An option to go from 5-10-15-20 questions and such to challenge us more and make it less likely to get repeat questions. Thank you very much.
Been a driver since 86 and this is nice when I'm sitting still here and there. So much you can forget. So much to catch up on.
Thank you guys so much for making this app free, it is the best app I found in the market. I tried so many, there were some other good one out there but only let you do one test before they charged. Other free apps had miss information. I love how your questions have clips from the book at bottom of page so you can reference back if you hit a problem. I'm in AZ, and nearly every question on my test was covered by your app
A good amount of questions that are marked right on this app are considered wrong on the test I have to take in Maryland. Enough to cause me to fail.
Shouldn't have spent my money going to school, I should have just came here. Great job Brett.
Used this app to when I was studying for my Class A, really came in handy. Sending it to a friend hoping it could be of use to him as well
I used this app to study for the cdl permit test. I passed general knowledge, air brakes and combination on the first try. It has a lot of the same questions as on the test. The explanations also increase your understanding of everything which helps with the questions not covered in this app. Thanks brett!
Some of the test questions they very obviously have the wrong answer marked as right. For sure on the hazardous materials section. Otherwise its a great app.
Thanks Brett for all that you do to help us (newbees). I enjoy your website and blog. Your information that you give has helped me understand more about how truck driving is more of a career and not a job. Thanks again.
I give u 5 stars cause I use this CDL test app even on my time in school my teacher tell us about u and trucking thrut everything is great I just wish you have a "TRUCKING THRUT APP" the world need it THANKS...Keep the good work
This is a great study tool with explanations for the answers. The questions were not exactly the same as the MT CDL test but there was enough information to pass. This app doesn't snoop personal information so it is a 5 star app.
I used this to study for my air breaks test in California and it gave me enough knowledge to pass. I'll see how it works for the passenger endorsement and the rules in regs pretty soon.
It would be great if there were more than just 5 questions per section. . Other than that it's a good app
Trucking truth has to be the best Internet site for cdl and trucking help out there and he doesn't charge a dime. God bless you.
Good app when it works but not sure if the problem is the app or my tablet. When it is working the app is really easy to use but freezes up alot.
Has wildly different answers from Trucking Truth's manual. Ex: the numbers for perception, reaction and stopping time and distance are completely different resulting in a total stopping distance of 419' in the manual and 290' in the app. Who knows what other information is different, even though the website and app were supposedly made by the same people. (Additionally, the CA handbook also states 419 is correct in that example, making the app more questionable)
