Just took my cdl permit A test ( general, air brakes, and combination), and past all with flying colors. All I needed was this app. It was a great help.

Great app for studying, passed my learners test easily with the help. It would be good to have a premium version available with no ads, you can always turn airplane mode on to bypass this but I don't always want to do that.

The app works fine and looks fine. It's not a social media app or a fancy game. It's a study app and it works. It'll help you pass your CDL knowledge tests if you use it, and when you get a question wrong, study the "why" option where it pulls up the section of the manual the answer is in. There are ads to keep it free. I'm not sure why so many people are complaining about dumb things in their review. The app is very helpful if you use it correctly (actually study with it).

Some of the answers to these questions doesn't make sense. From the 3 choices they give, two could be the right answer. "Extra care is needed to keep your vehicle centered in your lane because commercial vehicles - are often wider than other vehicles or tend to sway from time to time?" The 2nd makes the most sense bcz THE VEHICLE IS ALREADY WIDE ENOUGH that I should BE on wide alert from the wind factors even the drivers near me so the trailer swaying side to side makes most sense 🤦🤷

I passed all 3 CDL class A permits General knowledge, air brakes, combination. I took in Georgia. Be careful some answers are wrong on here just like 2 I believe and there's a few that aren't in the app but are on the test. But alot of it was word for word and I passed with high scores and only have 5 hours of study time on here . This is the only thing I used to study and it's the first time I read in years and have brain fog and super high anxiety and winged it and studied at the last minute.

Great study tool, simple question and answer system. Some of the questions are not the same for real exam. Some answers she different from real exam an look different as well. But the ads are very annoying specially when in exam mode. I would pay 1.99 to 9.99 to have ads blocked on this app.

Great addition for studying after you've gone through the manual. Basically flash cards in an app with an easy to use interface. Questions are pretty spot on to how they are asked on the actual test. Passed my permit test on the first try. Good luck everyone, see you on the road.

I like that it records my score according to my questions answered correctly. So far I've only used the app to open the manual and for practice mode. I think I'll try exam mode when I complete the practice mode one more time. I definitely need to look over the manual some more though.

If you can pass this test you can pass the official test. I downloaded for my hazmat practice and it worked great, the ads are there but not in an annoying way that constantly directs you somewhere else like another app I used at first but, at least the ads keep it free for us.

So far this app is teaching me a lot about but it seems that it keep switching up answers? Especially with the (which has a tendency to offtrack more-- the 45 foot trailer or the trailer with two 27 foot trailers) * need to be perfect before March 7th, that the day I start Coastal Truck Driving School. I can't afford to fail.

Really great app. The questions are or are almost word for word as the questions on the CDL permit test. I also used the DMV Genie app on top of this one which breaks down everything you need to know, section by section. I used the CDL prep as the practice exam after using DMV Genie. Really recommend using both. I studied two nights in a row (10hrs or so) and aced the test.

There should be a paid version that allows you to get rid of the very annoying ads.

Passed my test with flying colors. I had 100 questions on my test and missed only 4 because I was going to fast feeling as if I knew every answer without reading. Perfect app if you want your CDL permit. I was able to use this app to pass without stepping in a truck school yet.

Has dark mode 👌 Doesn't have all the questions asked in a nys cdl permit test for general knowledge. It'll show a lot of questions but I've done them all and still failed there times. Because a lot of the questions weren't in the app. Failed with 37 correct still all the times 11 wrong. But I'm just saying this to let anyone else know you can't just go through this app alone and think you've prepared for cdl tests. I'm gonna try other apps and the manual too. I guess😔

Was able to pass all tests to get my clp using this app then once I got my cdl I was able to pass the tanker and hazmat endorsements on the first go. Not every question on the tests is on this app but it's enough to get a passing grade. Only missed 2 on the tanker. And 2 on hazmat.

Virginia test is 50 general knowledge 20 combination and 25 air breaks... There was about 10 qestions that wasnt on this app for general knowledge and about 7 or so for the other 2 tests...i needed to get 40 right to pass general knowledge... I passed with a 41 and the other 2 i got maybe 2 to 4 wrong on each of those... And the dmv may ask some of the same questions but word them differently... But the app definitely did a good job... I did not study the manual and passed but i would read it

Great app! Really helps and it's not complicated to figure out. But the lending tree ads are making me lose my mind. You can't exit out of it and end up never finding your score. I don't mind ads... they're necessary but if I have to close the app every time lending tree comes up I might as well get a different app

This app was so damn spot on as the actually test. If you fail any of the tests you are not paying attention. I flew through all my test.

The ui is a bit clunky but it out did my expectations having all the manuals in the app and all of the endorsements. The questions were like word for word lol. I passed container ,general knowledge, airbrakes, doubles&triples, and tanker first try. But I've had experience as a diesel mechanic so that helped a little. Thank you for the app. Edit: I will add you definitely should study the manual for doubles and triples. I barely passed that one.

Good, but some poor grammar & errors about right answers Ex:Question 167:Which of these rigs has a higher chance to offtrack while making a turn? 53ft straight truck Tractor w/45ft trailer Tractor w/two, 27ft trailers App claims Tractor w/45ft trailer, citing 6.1.6 Wide Turn-Longer vehicles offtrack more. Rear wheels of powered unit will offtrack some, & rear wheels of trailer will offtrack even more. Leaving off: If there is more than one trailer, rear wheels of last trailer will offtrack most.

Very good app. Used it day of test and passed ,missed only one question. I had failed 3rd try before another driver recommended this app. After sitting out the required time, I came back and it was easy

It tremendously help me review the manual and possible questions for my CDL class B tests. UPDATE 5 FEB: Successfully PASSED all my needed tests for driving I strongly recommend the app for those taking classes or courses to get their CDL

This is a great app, although I wish you could purchase an ad-free version. The ads are too distracting for me.

Superb app! Great for studying for the Class A CDL Written tests! I recommend it for anyone planning on getting their CDL.

Worked great for the general knowledge test in Idaho, but when it comes to the passenger and school bus test it doesn't have most of the questions.

Instrumental in helping me pass my CDL test. Easy to use, never crashed my phone, and contains all the necessary tests.
