Software doesn't do anything. The device does link up via bluetooth, but the software doesn't see it and tapping on 'Pair New Device' option on the screen doesn't do anything. I'm returning the device itself to the store and uninstalling this software. Just another piece of junk from China.
Says it was made for an older version of Android and just won't work. Worked when I bought it but my phone updated and now the app won't work. It won't pair with my device or connect to a previously paired device. It pairs with Bluetooth but not in this app.
App is completely worthless. Was bought for me for Christmas. I downloaded the app to see a message about how it's for "an older version of Android and may not work" and it was completely broken and has been ever since. I don't expect to see an update for this app, they got their money already so I doubt that'll happen anytime soon. Doubt it worked very well to begin with. Update: 2/24/20 still no app update available. ***DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT***
Terrible. Worked once. Updated phone and will not display anything on phone even though bluetooth is connected. Would highly recommend not purchasing this probe. But if you are reading this, then you have probably already wasted your money and purchased one 😥
Complete garbage. Don't waste you money on the thermometer if you want to use the Bluetooth app.
A year later and now it won't pair with my phone. Completely aggravated with useless item considering why it was purchased.
This app is horrible it will not link up and when it dose it goes in and out. And it's not cheap

Wow. I could write a better app from my grandmother's basement assuming my parents abandoned me. Does not do anything.

OK so the whole reason to get a Bluetooth thermometer is to be able to do things you could not do with a typical wireless model that costs about half as much. What that mostly means is being able to see the pattern of the temp rise as your stuff cooks. And the details screen with graph looks like it ought to do that. Yeah, nope. You get only a a few minutes of history displayed, pinch zoom is not really working. You can try to scroll back, but the graph resets every few seconds.
You have to be within 20 ft for it to connect. Randomly quit updating phone although it showed connected. Went outside, base showing 10 degrees higher than phone.
Did everything as instructed and can't even link the device to app can't even see the graphic that's even up above the top of this app
Bad design, bad software, dont even bother
Would of given it a "0". Worked for 45 minutes to get to work on my Android phone. Load, uninstall, load, many times. Got it to work once. It was very cool. Turned it off and waited to show wife when she got home. It never worked again. Spent 3 hours or more to get it working again. Was so pissed, because I failed in my wife's eyes. Returned it for just a regular one probe timer. It was the app's failure. Not my phone or the device!
Pretty good when it works, but getting it to work is tough. They don't want you to connect it to BT and then open the software; that definitely won't work. They want you to make the connection within the software, but that is intermittent. My phone's Bluetooth settings can see the device, but the app cannot. I tried restarting, deleting cache, turning BT off and on, etc. Once it connects, the software is OK, not great.
