The park map worked great and was very helpful. However, the ride wait times were inaccurate. The estimate for Steel Vengeance was listed as 100 minutes the entire day, but when we got in line at 5 pm, we only waited 30 minutes. Some of the wait time estimates were too low, as well. I also was not able to add my ticket to the app, so I just had to save a screenshot of it instead.
Can't add my season pass. Entering the quick code gives and error and scanning the barcode gives an error.
I think the primary reason most would download this app is to determine wait times for rides, which is a great thing to have on the app. The times reported, however, remained pretty inconsistent in the day and a half we spent at the park. I understand this is not a n exact science, and based on estimates, but a 5 min wait time turned into 50 minutes, for example. Didn't really check much more on the app other than the occasional "where is a restroom" question.
"Oops, something went wrong" while trying to sign up. Contacted customer service and they were about as unhelpful as you can get. "Reinstall the app" and 5 reinstalls later, I still get "Oops, something went wrong". It would be nice if they said anything relevant as to why the error occurred. I'm shocked that such a massive park has such a useless app.
Provide the best App for a amusement park, You can Scan your pass and it will save to your phone! Yeah we all know that the times are different from irl. But it makes a difference just to explore the park, very helpful!
I have been trying to reset my password to access my passes since last spring. When I put in my email and hit send, it loads then resets and I have never received an email.. I figured they would eventually fix the problem but they have not. It's a useless app if you can't even log in.
Used to work good! Was able to use my season passes from the app in the past. Now cannot link season passes using bar code or quick scan code, even after updating. Others have commented on this! Note, guest services is useless. App needs to fixed Cedar Point!! Note, you can still link your passes to Cedar Point's website... then have them stored online... after some verification requirements. You can then view the passes & barcodes from there website (just will require internet to view).
App did not connect most times in the park. When using map, which is what I wanted most, only showed our position, but not the rides. This update may have fixed the issue, but I still can't create an account, which I have tried on a computer via the web on my home wifi, via my phone on cellular data and my home wifi. This update HAS NOT fixed that issue for me.
ok but wait times and closures aren't always correct and it, annoyingly, keeps telling you that you aren't in the park (which renders the app useless) ...even when you're in the park and connected to the cedar point Wi-Fi. it also has both issues when you are hooked to your mobile data.
Well, the app is good for storing passes. Otherwise, it is worthless unless you like looking ar promotions and ads. Maps, wait times, etc. dont work well at all. Back again, two years later. Worst app ever. Lost a star. Why do you even push this app, it is useless
The main reason I got this app was to save a paper map but we wasted about a half hour looking for a way onto Forbidden Island using this app. We walked back and forth twice. Thankfully we found the signs the second time through. The map is outdated. I expected more from Cedar Fair.
The wait times are terribly inaccurate. It would be helpful if they listed all coasters that won't open that day, since there will always be a few. I suppose it's convenient if you tend to forget where you park. Otherwise, there are maps all over the park and you're better off leaving your phone in your pocket and enjoying the scenery.
This app is just okay. The interactive map is nice but it was WAY off on a lot of wait timew tor rides and didn't say whether or not food places were open so it took us 30 minutes just to find a dippin dots that had someone at the stand. Also I marked my parking spot hoping it would help us find our car but the place it said my car was wasn't even close. You can do better Cedar Point.
I have tried multiple times to create a log in account. The message read "Oops, something went wrong". I am also a season passholder and I am unable to load my season pass info into the app. I manually typed the quick access code and I also took a photo of thr bar code on the back..."Oops, something went wrong."
App does not work for funpics. Can view collage of all pics but cannot view individual pictures or download pictures to phone. I just get a question mark at the top. I could do this last year, not this year so far. Please fix the app. Samsung galaxy S9+
Ride times aren't even close to accurate. You would think it would be automatic as the line queues up but not at all. I'm tired of walking across the park to realize the ride time it 30-45 longer than it said. Cedar Point has ruined the experience with all of the fast passes.
wait times are horribly inaccurate. it wouldn't let me sign in for the affiliate ticket purchase, so I did it online. I keep trying to add the tickets I bought online to the app and nothing happens. uninstalled and reinstalled the app, same results. would love to be able to just use the app, but it won't load the tickets I bought online. not very happy. please fix.
I had the app last year and it worked great, however I have been unable to get logged back in this year. The app won't send me a password reset link to my email, it just keeps thinking but doesn't do anything else. Not sure what the issue is but would be great to be able to use again.
Map interface could use some work. none of the wait times are even close to being accurate and rides that are closed are shown as having 1-10 minute wait times making you walk all over thinking you're not only going to get on a ride, but through one quickly as well.
The app won't show you wait time unless you're in the park, but even when we were in the park and could see our little dot on the map, it would still not show wait times. Also, wifi and cell service in the park is not great, making it even more frustrating to use
A definite must if you are going to the park. Easy access to your tickets, simple directions to rides, approximate wait times, and more. Only negatives are that the map is missing a few things and it claims you don't have internet access when you do.
Just a bit confusing on how to add passes that are purchased online. I found out that when you first visited the park and they give you the pass, you scan it instead of the ticket emailed to you. Other features are good.
You are asking everyone to download the app, but it doesn't want to work for me. Like so many others, I go to create an account and it won't let me. Just keep getting a loading sign. Fix your app, it was like this last year when I went. I love CP, made reservations already to stay at Lighthouse Point, but if this app doesn't work by the time my vacation is coming up I will be forced to cancel
You shouldn't have to "sign in" to see ride wait times, but even on trying to do so, you only get "internal server error". And, don't bother trying to use their Wi-Fi, signal reported to be "too poor" to even get a connection. On a flagship device..
Requires all of your information just for a map of the park and ride times? Why? Not to mention it doesn't actually work very well, constantly disconnecting but that also could be because the WiFi at Cedar Point is garbage.
The map is functional and being able to add passes is nice, but the wait times so far this year have been horribly inaccurate. Like "saying 1hr wait when the ride is completely down" inaccurate. Unfortunate because last year they worked very well.
