Definitely a tedious registration process, but doable with time and patience. To those complaining about it needing access to your phone, that is so the app is able to gather your phone's stats - the make, model, IMEI - so YOU don't have to. Once you receive your confirmation email after registration, just uninstall the app. I removed one star because taking a picture of the screen is very frustrating and challenging to get clear and in frame.

My phone hasn't dropped or is in need of repair, however the process to register is absurd. I mean, come on guys. You can do better than that. It's a liquid screen saver, not a mortgage application. Make it easier for people to be able to register and you'll probably gain more customers. Had I read the reviews before purchase I'd just bought a regular ole plastic screensaver and save myself of the 10 minutes of my life fading away.

It's horrible. I have been trying for over 20 minutes to register my device. I click on deny cellhelmet to manage or make calls. The screen is blank. It will not allow me to register my device. I have downloaded and reinstalled the app several times. I am going back where I purchased the product for assistance. Major dissatisfaction.

DO NOT BUY! First off the product doesn't work. I dropped my phone with the so-called screen protector and the screen stopped working almost immediately. Then time to register. It gets stuck on a white screen if you don't give them access to your phone. Then time to file a claim they tell you didn't capture a screenshot of your phone screen during registration. How are you supposed to capture a shot of your device screen when you are registering from the same device. Sounds fraudulent.

I just attempted to register this product and the wording was unclear as to what would happen. It said that the pin would not be accessible for 24 hours but it doesn't say what that meant. Of course I wanted to register it for today's date and when I pushed okay it pushed my registration time to 24 hours away. In short the instructions are unintuitive and poorly written

04/21/22 i purchased a cell helmet phone cover for my Samsung S10+. I followed the directions and received an email that the phone case and phone had been registered within 30 min. You need your Receipt for proof of purchase. You put your info in and take a picture of your screen. Then you submit and you're covered. The rules are a little off setting. Because it says your screen is covered for one year after purchase of the case. In the store where I bought the case, they claim it's lifelong

This app is borderline creepy, I honestly regret spending $80 dollar's on this. If didn't buy this yet DONT. if you did, once you complete registration I strongly recommend disabling the permissions for this app.

Invalid pin number, brand new just got it it can't be invalid this is happening before this app is junk it cannot recognize a simple pin number.....

Terrible app, doesn't save when you exit and when it asks you to take a photo of your screen it will not submit it. Ive tried over 20 times and it just says "error upload failed. Please press next to try again." Ive pressed next repeatedly with the same results. I deleted and re downloaded the app with tge same results. It really needs work. I reached out to the company and have yet to hear back from them.

App gets stuck on white screen and doesn't allow me to go through registration. On top of that it is asking for unnecessary invasive permissions. No, they cannot have access to my phone calls. As far as apps go, this is horribly desinged and inconvenient. I hope their product is more effective than this sorry excuse for a registration app.

Very frustrating that you have to download an app that "needs" your phone's call permissions! They claim it is because Android basically wrote that requirement. Seems a bit bogus to me! Also I did not like the fact you cant register someone else's product for them. It has to be done from the device the product is place on! I really do wish I had known this before purchasing!

The app would've been great except for after I entered all of my information and did the screen test to see if it worked on my S9+ it gives me a screen with a big thumbs up saying Boom! and then a submit button. But when I hit submit it opens a loading box that says please wait and it either closes after about 2 seconds and nothing happens or the box stays open endlessly (I left my phone screen on for close to 5 minutes with it spinning before giving up). I need support ASAP!

this app will not work unless you provide control on phone and access to camera. I turned permissions on just to continue the required registration. took me 3 tries to complete the registration. at the end I get a screen with number of days left and the way to contact cell helmet and that's it. I had to email to confirm that the registration was successful. I took off the permissions as others have suggested and now the app does not work again. this app does not follow sound data privacy protocol

It helps to read the reviews first, my experience wasn't to bad..we will see if that continues if my phone breaks..you should have your receipt ready, the name and address of where you got it, put in your pin with all caps, I have very good internet at home so do it on dedicated wifi. Allowing the permissions is weird, but understandable after going thru the process. And you can just turn them off afterwards. Overall less than 5min to register. I'll update if i need to make a claim.

Phone access isnt unwarranted! It asks for access to phone calls (to facilitate calls to their warranty claims department) and camera/media storage access so you can upload your receipt. I understand everyone's concerns these days with data collection (you should probably get an iPhone, looking at how Google works) but it's really not a big deal. I'm skeptical about the spray protectors but the 300 dollar rebate is good for it's lifetime (1 year). No issues installing app on my Note 8.

A little creeped out that it immediately requires the ability to manage my calls and that the app gets stuck on a blank white screen if I don't allow it. I see that it is because filing a claim means calling a phone number and that the app is just typing it into my phone for me, but as a dev I feel like it should be asked for *when* you click those buttons, rather than from the very start. You might also want to handle people declining.

*IMPORTANT*: For the PIN to work you need to capitalize the letters. Or else it will show incorrect pin (I belive some of the poor reviews may be due to that). The app also doesn't tell you this, so I agree that it isn't as user friendly d it could be. However, the rest of registration was easy and quick.

app requires to much personal information for registration and denies access if refuse to allow the app to make and receive calls which is the first prompt. it is too much for a 1 year warranty and I would not trust this company with that data. They're absoluty obsessive at making sure they know who and where you are even when just providing proof of purchase should suffice unless they plan on using that data for other things. 🤐 I'd rather risk paying for repairs.

EDIT: I tried again 2 days later, and the app actually works! Hooray! Now my warranty is registered & hopefully I won't need to cash it in. Much better value than paying for insurance. Thanks for fixing the app! After waiting about 2 minutes on a white screen, the registration option finally popped up. I entered my pin & tapped next and... nothing happened. Eventually the app just times out & automatically closes.

Update: I had to uninstall and reinstall the app. After that, the process was quick, easy, and painless. Not sure why there seems to be a glitch. Horrible app. I pay $39.99 for this liquid glass protection and the Verizon store downloaded the app for me. I can't seem to register my product and that makes it feel like a gimmick. No warranty if it isn't registered so what did I just pay for? I will happily change review when/if the app works.

This app is ridiculous! You have to accept permissions just to register the liquid glass. Then the info for your phone (serial #, IMEI, etc.) Automatically pops up. 2 things were incorrect but you can not make corrections. You have to accept. Supposedly customer service made the corrections on their end however it took 3 different phone numbers to call and 5 different agents to register a $35 product! I hope that this liquid glass is all that it claims because I have not had a good experience with customer service just to register the product. I can only imagine what you might have to go through to file a claim!

App is hot garbage. It needs more permissions than it should, & won't open unless you give it those permissions. Apparently to stand by their product they need to be able to sell your information first. Warranty only covers 1yr from the purchase date but also isn't effective until 8 days after purchase? To top it off I can't even register until 24hrs after purchase either?! It will not even let me register it on their website, ONLY on the app. Don't waste $, go w/ a less shady company instead.

It took me 5 days, many emails and texting back and forth to finally get screen protector registered. You have to wait 24 hours after purchase to start, then there were problems with my pin number, and if get timed out you have to start over from the very beginning (so make sure life doesn't get in the way). Customer service was helpful but the process was a nightmare.

To register you need to fill out a long questionnaire, after 30 minutes filling out it asks for a photo of your device, after I take the photo it shows an error message from the upload I tried to take the photo 10 times the same error happens. In other words, I cannot complete the registration and in this case I lose the guarantee. Besides, if I leave the app I need to start the whole process from the beginning. Wow the worst purchase of my life....

It doesn't let you register when you purchase it, you have to wait 24 hours, so you can't have a tech or expert help. Once you get home, the app crashes. If you call, no ones available. You can leave a msg but you get 2 seconds to do so. No one calls back. No one replies to your emails. No one is available for live chat. I broke my phone after 3wks(it's like it's greased now) but even tho I'm still in the time frame to register, they said they won't honor the warranty anymore. Waste of $80.

I was very disappointed to find out this was just a 1 year warranty.. I was told it was a lifetime warranty and after trying to make a claim a short period of time after the 12 months the claim was denied. The screen cracked, so didn't do much good in protecting and later than 1 year, it's a waste of money. I think it is misrepresenting. It should say in bold on the front of the package "1 YEAR WARRANTY", but it DOES NOT. The print was so fine and buried, so small on the little warranty card. I'm miffed. I will not waste my money on this product again.

I WILL NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN!! Don't get me wrong at first I was very happy with the product it did it's job, n I get things wear out but when my screen finally did break, I find out that they ONLY COVER your screen for a 1 YEAR THATS IT! So not only did I spend a good penny on the product when I need it the most i'm out a phone and my money!! Worst part is I back this product, but will never buy it again

I see a lot of comments here saying app didn't work. But this worked fine for me, very quick process less than 2 full minutes. You do need to give permission to manage calls but can revoke permission after your registration is complete. The permission is because the "File Claim" feature just directs you to their phone line. Unnecessary to have unless you plan to file a claim.

Great product, had it on previous cell. Registration now, has been so far impossible and their customer service doesn't seem to really care. I certainly don't expect them to honor any warranty even if I was successful in completing the registration process.
