Celsius Network – Crypto Wallet: Earn Interest Now

Have been using the Celsius app for a while now and it has basically given me an incentive to save. The weekly returns are no small motivation. Though the app stopped working for like a day or two last month, the Celsius team was able to reassure the users by constant updates. The transparency of the team is quite uncommon. The start up looks quite promising from my point of view.

Great app, terrible policies. Unless you're an "Accredited investor" with a high net worth you can't earn interest on your coins anymore. Well, you CAN, but you're stuck with the balance that's already in your interest bearing account. They won't let you transfer anything new back in and once you transfer out then it's out forever. I've moved mine elsewhere and they've lost me as a customer because of this.

Was great. Don't like so much now. App itself works great. The exchange put a stop to you earning interest unless you become an accredited investor. If you move assets from an interest account, you can not replace. You can still buy crypto with the app easily and store it there but no interest unless you meet accreditation requirements. Going elsewhere to earn now.

App won't accept your PIN and tells you "too many tries" eventhough the PIN you entered was correct so there is no reason to block you at all. Happens all the time and they don't care. So if you are looking for a smooth working app with no major issues, this app isn't for you. *edit* can't log in to the app now. It won't let me past the "log in" screen and reinstalling the app doesn't work. Can't get to my crypto, can't make profit. I don't recommend it. *edit2* log in problem seems to be fixed

Can't log in. I use my fingerprint but nothing happens. App completely spazzes out if I try to log out. And now I can't log in at all. Add viewing portfolio in different currencies. USD isn't the only currency 🤷‍♀️. App takes 10 seconds to open on a high end phone. The UX is terrible, touch targets to small, back button doesn't work. Also there is not option to turn off notifications for stuff like "Try Swap!", idc, let me turn it off.

Can we get the rewards calculator back? Otherwise pretty easy to use straight fors app. Pairs well with coinbase for really easy transactions and loving the no gas fees. Edit: there really isn't a point to using this app anymore. If you want to earn interest on your crypto you have to become an accredited investor which is near impossible for the large majority of retail investors. It was great while it lasted.

Updated review. Fault with biometric login which is recognised but the app stays on the "enter 2FA" screen. Have to select biometric again & repeat. Occurs 2-3 times each login. The default Android back button is disabled. When selecting an asset the transaction list has no history until exit asset (which can't do from the default back button) & select again for a second time.

It does the job but there's a few things that could be improved. Their security is pretty heavy handed which can be great or annoying depending on your needs. Make sure you take note of the setup, and store your PIN!

Great app and focus on reliability, but the whole 'safe crypto platform' vibe and being signed out all the time with constant 2FA as a security feature is annoying. A dust converter would also be amazing to reduce unnecessary small transactions.

Great app. However, now in order to earn any interest on your crypto; you have to be an "accredited investor" and make a whole bunch of money per year just to be able to apply... I'm lucky I was able to deposit some money before Celsius started with this bs. Anyways, for new users who dont earn hundreds of thousands of dollars per year, I would NOT reccomend. Put your coins somewhere else.

Not for UK residents. Don't waste your time, after setting up the app, basic account and security....going through the KYC you can't get past the address screen with a UK address. I don't know why this isn't picked up sooner, it asks where you live right away.......

Seems that an update may have gone a bit wrong. I've used this app for a while and all has been OK but now it just will not allow me to sign in. I even tried to install the app onto my wife's phone a few days ago as I wanted to send her some crypto but it would ot open up. I've also found it difficult in the past to get funds out as you have to set an address to send them to which takes 24hrs to be accepted. I am Looking into a more reliable wallet now.

The app is user friendly and easy to navigate. Visually quite nice. The only thing that could be changed might be the reward notification (the confetti animation) that appears every Monday, but since it's a sign that new coins have been added to my account, I don't mind it that much. :) 5/5 HODL on!

Edit 16 April 2022. App has been fixed. Updates and loads properly. Recalls fingerprint login. 4 stars from 1 star. Edit 18 April 2021. App has become almost unusable pixel 4a android 11. I have to uninstall and reinstall every time I want access to funds. Otherwise gives errors like "this version of the app is no longer active" or "paste 2fa" when Ive already pasted it.

Well, it was a great platform, perfect in every way, until they decided to let the SEC bend them over with no lube. At least I'm grandfathered in and can still earn on what was deposited prior to the cutoff date but I wouldn't recommend this to new US users who missed the cutoff date - I'd look elsewhere. But the reason for 1 star off isn't that, I can only blame them so much for failing to fight the SEC. The reason for that is how it utterly fails to save my Biometric login after each update

App will not launch. Either it doesn't reach the PIN code page, or once entered it won't go any farther. Fix your app, test your app, fix it again, test it again, and again, and again, then release an update. Cause right right now, your not doing that, and thus it, don't, work!

I joined Celsius in August 2021 because I wanted to earn interest on my BTC and ETH. since then I've taken loans at 0% interest that I did over the app in 8 minutes to get approved within 24hrs. Now they have a great selection of coins to earn rewards, a swap that is no fee, and now a Celsius debt card. I'm a celciean for life!

It does not let me transfer from custody to earn account. Says I have 0 balance . So there's no way to withdrawl coins .. To become an "accredited investor" you have to pay 80$ to some external 3rd party. Which basically means if anyone wants their Own coins back they have to pay 80$. What a scam. Do NOT use Celsius. Biggest regret ever crypto-wise..

Celsius used to be great. Before they became cowards they had excellent staking options, it was super easy to use and had loans with really good rates. It even supported swaps right on the platform. But.... then they caved. They bowed to pressure from the SEC and banned anyone that's not filthy rich from participating in staking and you can no longer swap unless you're rich either. A "Accredited investor" Which is exactly what crypto is supposed to have gotten us all away from. Stay away.

Good: selection of coins, stability during market panic. Bad: need to enter password virtually every time - it's quite standard to have long-running session protected by PIN in app like this. Botched Swap release - it's promised to be released "soon" for some year now, yet still not coming.

This is the best app for crypto finance out there for it's security, yield rates, borrowing options and customer support. The only app out there that charges no fees for transfers. Can't wait to see more fantastic promo codes and more DeFi staking bridges! Specially recommend for HODLers!

Original review: By far my favorite. Id give them 10 stars of I could. And here is my update after using for a year 5/9/22 update Celsius has gone from first to last in the past month They won't let you add collateral to loans with out jumping through hoops. You can't earn interest anymore There is no reason to continue using Celsius at this point I'm going to close my account and move on

The App is very irritating lately. I can't login. After I input my password it takes forever to open. I need to always delete the app first and reinstall before I successfully log in. I decided to remove all my assets from Celsius Network because of this because I don't understand why this happening

Wyre is absolutely atrocious. I can't verify my ID to use the bank transfer function. I don't want to pay the credit or debit fees so this is the only viable option. I get emails from wyre saying additional information is required but no link to follow to provide information and no response from the support team. If Celsius used a better service I'd be happy with the app but as of right now it's not good.

App used to work fine. Now when I try to open it, it says "Please wait while Celsius app is being updated" and stays stuck on the loading screen. Looking in the play store, I already have the most up to date version.... where's my money?
