Celtic Mythology

Generally, the Celtic term applies to people who lived in Britain and Western Europe between 2000 BC and 400 A.D. .. They were civilizations of the Iron Age, especially inhabitants of small villages led by warlords. The Celts of continental Europe left no written record, but we know their gods through the Roman conquerors who established links between many of these deities and their own gods.

It is important to keep in mind that the Celtic culture (and their religions) are not as contiguous or homogenous as were the Roman or Greek culture for example. Our current knowledge state that each tribe along the vast area of Celtic influence had its own deities. Of the more than three hundred Celtic gods, few actually were worshiped in common.

Only partly in English. Also I don't like the direct language choice on the main page, better hide it under settings. Some words still not in English, even if selected English.

Great app! Easy to use and informative, but the ads are loud and startling and can't be muted.

The app is a fantastic resource, except the ads that pop up every few seconds, making it impossible to read anything at length. Make a paid for version without ads maybe? :)

And I don't speak the other 2 languages the app claims to offer (I say "claims" because it was so bad, I'm not sure it even qualified as English, and I'd wager at least one of the other languages is just as bad). It the waste of the clock is to used for what it measures for if you they talk to the language English is. Yeah, that's EXACTLY what it was like.

This app kept defaulting back to Portuguese, which is awesome if you speak Portuguese, not, if you're just trying to flip back and forth with a reference.
