I used the app for a while and prefer to do almost all my banking online. When I try to open the app now it says this connection is untrusted on both data and wifi which hasn't changed in years. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and still no joy. Every time they merge with another bank a new problem shows up both in the app and on website. This is quite frustrating to be sure. I don't want to change banks but may be forced to do so if they can't get their sh** together.

So... the app is poorly designed. It doesn't "flow". It's slow. Hopefully they'll be doing an overhaul. Switched from Charter Bank and beyond disappointed. It will not save my username, and keeps saying my fingerprint is not recognized after I have deleted it and added it back multiple times. I haven't even checked out any other features because it's so poorly set up. 2 stars since I can check my (slow to update) balance.

Just a hassle to get in. I don't know what else to do. I've uninstall and reinstall the app and keep getting the messages to call customer service. If I can log in it just spins and doesn't open up my account and have to try several times until it does work. I've never had this issue before and it's been almost 2 months trying. I don't know what else to do, maybe change banks. Not sure

Typically I have to sign in 3 or 4 times to get to my account, but for the past week when I sign in I just get a blank white screen. The app is broken. Another thing; when you are depositing a check remotely the viewfinder gives you a display overlay as to where to line it up, bit if you take a picture using their guidance it cuts off part of the check, so you have to pull the camera up to get it all in the pic. Withdrawing my account next week.

Currently, If I could give a zero star rating, I would. I cannot access my online banking. My sons easily access their account on their phones. It has been almost a week and they keep giving the same statement about updating new security features. I cannot login through their web address either. I have even tried uninstalling app and reinstalling. Does not work. Same message every time. Cannot access, untrusted connection or some BS. This is totally pissing me off. It is so inconvenient.

I liked this app until the latest update. Now, to put it bluntly, the app S-U-X! I'd give it zero stars if I could. As others have stated in their reviews, scrolling through transactions is damn near impossible. The screen hangs up. It's extremely slow and sluggish. Previous transactions are still faintly visible when new transactions finally display. You had a good app until you decided to upgrade it again. Maybe you should have paid attention to the adage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

I liked the Charter app better. What's the point in having the save your username button -- you still have to put in your username EVERY single time? The app freezes and I know im putting in the right information, but I'll get a message that the page is down or my username or password was wrong... Even when my photo icon is correct. I also liked that charter I could see my pending checks a few days before I get paid. I really could go on and on but those are a few things.

I wish I could give them less than one star. Ever since they bought out our local bank they have been nothing but problems! The app never remembers your login. Do not trust what it claims you have available, that's never accurate; especially if you use credit. My fiance's transactions were denied even when there was more than enough funds to cover the payments; and he has direct deposit. Maneuvering through their website is not user friendly. Calling in and talking to a rep is pointless.

I've uninstalled the app. I went with this bank due to the bank being a local, small, hometown bank. But, mostly because of the availability of the mobile app to keep track of my acct. Thanks to the technical issues the apps been having I wasn't able to see my account and I accidentally over drafted $5 and some change. The bank was sure quick to charge me a $35 fee but, slow to fix the app so we can see our balances. I'll be changing banks soon I'm sure.

8/4/2020 Thank you for the quick response and fix! I love this app and use it several times a week if not everyday!🙂 I have been using this app for quite a few years and have had no issues till now. Used it at 2:30 pm today and went to go back in it at 10:30 pm and I keep getting a message saying page not found. This connection is untrusted! I uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times also restarted my phone 3 times but I still get the same message!

The app freezes up when I open my main account. When I open my second account I have no problems. It is trying to load every transaction you have ever had at one time. If they made it to only load a few (20 - 30) then go to another page there would not be a problem. It is simple coding.

It's almost like it's in beta still once you're in the app it isn't bad though a little clumsy. But the app is unusable 90% of the time. Crashes, infinite loading screens, account lockouts about every week. It's sad a bank is losing customers due to such and easy and cheap thing to fix. A good programmer could fix this app right up. I'll be changing banks soon almost solely due to the app

Of course it's like anything else works great when you're lucky to have it work. They keep on changing it up and making it till you can't even see your balance. For 2 months now it's been corrupted at the sign-in screen. No fingerprints or passwords work. So it makes it impossible to know your balance before paying bills.

The bank in person is wonderful and always has the best customer care which is why Ive kept them so long despite being stationed states away from the closest branch... however the app is a different story. I was on the verge of switching banks just before the app overhaul in december. But in recent months its been absolutely unusable. The fingerprint scanner function is broken, and if I so much as tap it im sent to an endless loading screen. And password does the same half the time.

Not sure what has happened to this app, I have been using it without issues for years until the past few days, when I log on i get a blank white screen and nothing loads. You'd think with all the expanding this company has done they'd put a little more effort into this app system. Not Impressed. Considering moving all my accounts elsewhere.

So they recently updated the app with a new look, but didn't actually fix any of the issues with this subpar app. It still doesn't remember your username after clicking "remember me". Still can't see pending deposits into your account. My last bank, Charter and their app were better in every way.

The app used to work really well! But within the last few days, even though I have my fingerprint authorized to sign me in, when I use it to log in I get a blank screen. And when I go to login with my username and password, and I tell it to save my username, it does not! So I don't know what's going on with the app but it's not working properly anymore. It also likes to freeze and not allow you to scroll. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled, then removed and added my fingerprint.

Worst aap I ever had. They recently bought my previous bank and unfortunately I had to switch the previous decent and easy to use app with this cheap aap. I think they need to spend more money to upgrade their app instead of putting all of the profit in their pockets. I was charged an overdraft fees because of low balance that heppend because of this cheap app. Going to get my money back or I can take all of my money to somewhere else.

It really doesn't remember user name which isnt that big of a problem as that it is laggy. Only difference between this and web site is you can deposit a check which I don't use that feature. It would be easier for me to use their online page because I tap two buttons and I can view my account super quick.

I opened acct in Jan 2016, had no problems with app til about 1 year ago. It just wouldn't work! Y'all were having issues about that time, trying to fix issue. Had to uninstall it, therefore, can't use mobile deposit! Only way I can use the mobile app is Google or Samsung Internet. Doing this way you can't use mobile deposit, the app has to be downloaded/installed. Reinstalled it, has been working, but I've got Norton, so it gives me page not found, connection not trusted!! I installed again

The bank I use was Charter and became CenterState. This app is horrible in that its not user friendly. The manner that items are allocated are too confusing to understand. It takes too long to update also. Im seriously thinking about closing my account and going elsewhere due to the inconvenience of not having a reliable app i depend on with my busy life.

My experience with the app is horrible!! when I try to log in it keeps saying "page not found. connection untrusted" I am sick of not being able to check our account to see what has been posted. you have to guess if you have the money in the bank and risk getting charged 30 bucks for overdraft fees! 😠😠

I have been a customer for several years, but this app has me this close to changing banks because I can't check my account. It has always been glitchy but now it doesn't work at all. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. A called help line all they say is uninstall and reinstall. I hope this is fixed soon or goodbye Centerstate!

There are always minor problems with this app but recently it won't let me access anything. Says the connection isn't trusted and it won't let me log in or anything. I'm using my regular mobile data on my phone that I have been using this entire time. I have no idea whats going on but I hope its fixed considering I like to keep an eye out on my account. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing worked.

I think a sit down with app developer would be helpful. Why change from the Charter app? Change the name and leave the rest alone. It was fantastic. Copyright issues? It was easy to understand and follow. The "pending" items didn't fill a whole page. If you bought the bank, the app should have came with it. It's unbelievable. However, the employees i have worked with inside the bank have been great and kind at helping me resolve some serious issues both related to this confusing app and fraud.

This app is the most frustrating bank app I have ever used. It is like playing the lottery to just have it open up and work properly for once. I am so tired of having to un-enroll and re-enroll for touch ID. This is a big part of why I don't use this as my main account anymore since Charter Bank and CenterState Bank merged. I wish that had never happened.

App is awful. Doesn't keep up with purchases in order, doesn't have correct times or dates of purchases. Bank rearranges debits in whatever order allows for them to charge an overdraft fee, since they can only charge OD-Fees for auto debits. The balance is almost always wrong. Doesn't tell which card made the purchases. Everything about this bank sucks!

It's so frustrating when you can't log into the app when you need to. Right now, logging in is impossible! The app freezes and logs you out, or you never get in...only a plain white screen. I never had this problem when it was charter bank, but now...problem on top of problem! I hate it!

It's hit or miss. You maybe get a 50/50 chance to login without an error message that tells you to call customer service. Centerstate needs to find a better team to fix this app because it's been nothing but bugs and errors since switching from Charter Bank's app. Update 10/29- The app still doesn't work. Biometric and username/password login doesn't work. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't work.

I was a charter customer and they had a flawless app. now that centerstate bought them out, this app seems very cheap and thrown together. my username never stays and every time I hit the back button, it says webpage not available and makes me log in again. centerstate needs to use the charter bank app and change the name. that was a great app. I am thinking about changing banks now. this bank sucks. I wish they never bought out charter bank.
