If I could give it fewer stars I would. This is disappointing, if the just made it like the old Atari 5200 or would fine. But touchscreen for input does not work correctly. It needs a lot of work. Ads make playing the game impossible covering buttons in order to play.
I noticed the advertising at the top of the screen that will not disappear until you restart the game. I'll reduce my rating from a 4 to a 1 until this is fixed. I paid for the game therefore you do not need to pull money from others from the act of me using MY property that I purchased. I bought it. Its my game.....understand? If you want to sell advertising space on my purchased games then give me my money back and change the game to the free format.
Game has an overall good look and feel. Many performance issues not hardware related. Gnome's rate of fire changes based upon distance just like the original but it isn't working properly, often just pausing his shots. Mobs blink out and don't get hit. Control of Gnome can be interrupted at random and then you have quickly try to click on the control icon below him instead of the gnome himself. Not good for an action-based game and not very intuitive. I expect more from Atari.
Doesn't work on samsung note 3
I paid for a game, get ads, and the ads block the menus that would let me actually play. Ridiculous.
Game doesn't open at all every time I click it i get unfortunately centipede has stopped working hasn't worked since day I bought it. I've reported it every time I want my money back it's a rip off.
Crashes as soon as you try to open it. I redownload it every few months to see if it will work, ita been over a year and still no progress.
This app won't even start I uninstalled it and reloaded it to add injury to insult. I'd be better off giving won a $2 to a homeless person there's a chance they might actually use it for good. I probably should have read the reviews on this before I installed it. 1 Star Cross the board I would give it zero if I could. P.O.S!Lol.
Crashes on startup. Opened 3 support tickets in 8 months with no answer. No answer from their fb page either after several attempts to make contact.
App won't even open force closes as soon as I launch the game. Bummer bc centipede is one of my favorites too.
This game is great! The ultimate upgrade to an old classic! For those of you having trouble on phones, I am thinking this game works best on tablets. I use an Acer with latest system updates and it works like a champ.

In using arc s and it crashes at the loading screen just after the shop.. Also in put off by the whole needing coins thing.. I want my money back for this thing atari dont deserve my cash.
I absolutely love Centipede Origins. Atari has done it again. My only reason for 4 stars is that I paid for the game so should have no ads in game. Please update and remove ads like your other games.
Haven't played this game in a while. Now it has advertising on it constantly and the advertisements are in the way of actually seeing the game. THUMBS DOWN!
This is horrible I should file a lawsuit against this company, you buy the game it doesn't work why the hell do you sell this if it doesn't work .Nothin but a bunch of shysters I want my money back or I'll sue.
Works great!! I don't know what others are complaining and but this game is excellent! Moves fast too, pretty challenging to play
LG G3: Doesn't run. Perhaps you will have the same problem. Contacted Atari for refund or for a fix. Of course, they don't reply quick enough for you to get a refund via Google's refund time limit policy. Congrats Atari! Well done.
Fun game but you insult us all, collecting our money and still forcing a HUGE ad that gets in the way of selections on the screen. What a ripoff.....1-star until you change that.

I love centipede so if you are going to use the name and the Atari brand you better be up to the job. How its possible to turn a game that ran well on 80's hardware into this debilitatingly slow pan handling state of paralysis is beyond me. Amazed that something carrying the iconic Atari brand still runs adverts (huge ones that look more interesting than the game) after you've paid for download. I can only imagine they realised nobody would pay for this after a free demo. Avoid.
