The Central Hudson Mobile app provides customers a convenient way to obtain restoration status during a storm, view account details and make payments.

All customers of Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. can use it to:
- Report an electric power outage
- Check status of an outage
- View outage summary by county and municipality
- View the outage map
- Make a payment
- View payment locations
- View contact information
- Request to start new service

Central Hudson customers who are registered for "Your Account" can log in to:
- View account summary, balance, and payment due date
- View payment history
- Request to transfer existing service

I didn't think they could make their app worse than what it was, but the new update is really disappointing. The UX is awful: things are hidden in confusing menus instead of on the home page and the back button closes the app instead of returning you to previous screen. Lame.

Font is really big, unlike before the update. The app automatically logs you out once you close it which is a very big con for me. Can not open update your app settings. Only privacy info comes up. Some improvements like seeing your bill and if it is estimated or actual. Bottom line: released too soon, needs work. 👎

Worse than before. I try to make a payment and not pay the full the amount, I got other and when I type the amount in, you can not see what you are typing, the date is not visible either. The worst app ever.

Updated this application and first thing I noticed was the account number and address was split in half. Font to large. Can't update application setting's. Old one was much better.

I cannot open the app. It prompts me to update. I performed the update. Open the app again and it prompts me to update again even though the update has been performed (infinite loop).

Since update it's hard to navigate and does not remember who you are. Terrible, was much better prior to the update. They need to hire a junior high kid to fix the app.

I Used to love this app but the last month and this month something's gone wrong. When I try to log in I keep getting a message that I have been timed out. This is why I gave the app a low score. It used to be 5 stars. Big problem.

If you're going to provide an app for the convenience of your customers, please make sure it works properly. Central Hudson makes a lot of money (profit) from their gas and electric customers and the app should at least work properly.
