I want to point out that in order to use the app, you are required to sign in on a computer or mobile browser first and go to [Mobile Banking], then enroll in Mobile banking. After you create your Mobile banking username and password you can use the app. 4 stars for efficiency and convenience, the app needs some work. more appealing menu, better U.I. for depositing checks etc.
Everything works EXCEPT for the Mobile Check Deposit! The one I want right after being able to look at account details. It looks like the check deposit software designers did NOT think about people using this for large, printed, company checks! Dumb, dumb, dumb! And that's because the software is NOT looking in the RIGHT place for the encrypted numbers at the bottom of the check!!
The app closes itself automatically after displaying a message about not being able to work in landscape mode or something like that. Tried switching modes, didnt help. Can't even login.
This app on Andriod always crashes and am unable to use it. I have to uninstall and reinstall and upon having to re-login, I always get locked out. Very inconvenient and defeats the purpose of having an app if it's unusable most of the time..
Project managers (or Programmers) are 2nd rate in quality control and user experience. Users with separate logins for business and personal accounts can not switch between the logins on an Android OS. App continually crashes until I uninstall and reinstall. Once reinstalled, I can login once, but then I still can't switch between the personal and business logins without uninstalling again. (Same symptoms on Google Pixel and Samsung Note9)
Of all of the local banks, this app gives me the most problems. Can't open it on the first try, access statements, it never recognizes the devices I try to log in with. Was hoping after the upgrades it'd get better but I think I'm going to switch back to paper statements. Sorry CPB, your bank is great but this app...
Central Pacific Bank delivers on customer service. However, dated technology is what is holding them back from having an amazing mobile experience. It’s missing transfers to and from other CPB customers as well as external transfers, missing bill pay add, edit and cancel, mobile deposit confirmation, pending transaction merchant info, balance change during processing which is so annoying, statements via mobile app. Missing core features, everyday features. Come on CPB you can do better.
what's the whole point of having online banking when half the time the app doesn't work, last update was done in dec 2017. Beyond frustrated having to deposit checks with the mobile app. Maybe shld really look into beefing up the technology you folks use. I know it's not only Android users having this problem.
For the 1star reviewers, looks like they fixed the bugs. I just installed the app and was able to do transactions with no problems. I would rate the app 3 or 4.
App was working amazingly until beginning of this month. Same as the recent reviews--app crashes. Please fix asap. Thank you. UPDATE 10/12/19: App still crashes & hasn't been fixed. Sorry to be blunt but are you guys going to fix it?
The bank themselves are great. This app crashed every month and I have to re-download it all the time! Very frustrating
Crashing every time I try to open it. It was working previously. Not the best banking app and the account information provided leaves much to be desired.
Crashes a lot, can't deposit my checks in a timely manner, doesn't allow viewing of transactions for more than 30 days, doesn't keep a photographic record of your deposits even though you take a picture of it - and other banks have that feature. Thinking of switching banks.
Extremely unstable. Crashes all the time. Need to uninstall, then reinstall for it to work. Outdated functionality.
Heading into a month since last login with this app. Crashes immediately upon start up. Doesnt look like the tech team has any priority in making their app accessible.
CPB bank is fabulas. Thecredit card not so much. I am on SSDI for the lastre 11 years. Have used the card for over for at least 5 years. While the pandemico i was told my credit card and bank account were to be cancelled My phone had to v Completly stopped working. I trend to go in bit the store was shut down for at least 2-3 months When i got there find it had broken just like my first and second and there one needed to be replaecd. So my bank account was not closed, because my debit car
worst mobile banking app ever. It crashes every time before a deposit can be completed. Half the time I cannot even log in. Waste of time.
the app has 4 times locked us out when using the correct password. Able to go to the website & it works. very frustrating
They need to fix this app. It seems everyone having problem with it. I dont know why they dont work on any phone. We follow all instructions but still not working..
Mobile app is terrible. Made me uninstall and reinstall multiple times just to login and now is telling me (again) I have to call and change my password for the second time.
Constantly shuts down, always need to uninstall and reinstall, information isn't updated, can't do much of anything.
App isn't live update. Keeps Crashing .Should show running balance after each transaction with credits and debits. Needs work
This app is awful...i cant even use it anymore, i have to login to the full site from my phone. CPB really needs to update their online banking systems

horrible app. got locked out because the remember me function doesn't work. now I can't even open the app or re download the app.
My biggest issue is the lack of any transfers actually going through. Twice I have it put in transfer requests between my accounts and they never actually went through. This is bigger of an issue because there is zero proof that you put the transfer in the first place; allowing for them to charge you an overdraft fee, should a bill payment be above what initially was in the account being drawn from. But unsurprisingly their website is not that much better, so what can you expect from an app.
